Its due to the hybrid tubro thats on the car, most hybrids have a whistle like that, also when you decat an A45 you get a slight whistle, its not a pipe or a boost leak or anything like that... ANNOYING AS FUCK THOUGH

It's the boost controller bleeds boost to actuator so it doesn't see full boost and keeps the waste gate shut not a boost leak just how they work they can sometimes produce a couple psi more of boost because of this you replace the boost solenoid with a 3 port and one port is a bleed valve have a read into a 3 port boost controller greddy do one for about £300 is just bleeding alot of air and that's obviously the whistling noise

Yea especially running a hybrid turbo as that will have more rotational inertia and possibly clipped exhaust blades for better flow which slows it's response untill there is enough flow

I quite like the A45's. They are quite a nice shaped car, I don't like the blingy interior though.
This is a beast, no doubt. I'm not a fan of the wrap colour, or the tinted lights and blacked out everything, but each to their own.
It looks so easy to drive fast, even with 483bhp, no effort it just grips and flies.
My little M140i with 410bhp struggles to stay in a straight line until I'm doing 60+ lol :-)) (standard open diff at the moment though). Happy to say mine has more torque though at 576nm !!

You're launching is not good mate. Need to hold more revs at the launch and build up the boost. An average weight passenger wouldn't add 0.7 secs to the 0-60.

The sound is the EVAP Venturi. When the intake goes from vacuum to boost the controlled boost leak to a Venturi to create vacuum on the EVAP system in boost. They wash out at high boost. You need one from a Porsche 996. They have em on ECS tuning.

Okay drag time funny how the RS3 was mentioned. Stage 2 even on a pre face lift does high 10’s on just e85 not meth. Stage 3 mk7r is same for time. Pity the gearbox imo lets the a45 down for launch

@B&B It was a tongue-in-cheek post but I guess we won't know without printout. I had a turbo car of mine on rollers and was peaking very high torque due to boost spike.
Damn this cars quick it pulled up to my work the other week had to drop a follow cant believe how fast it is.

Although agree you need to let boost build when using launch control and give it a couple of seconds before letting go of the brake pedal and he would of easily seen a 3.something as you could hear it bogging down. He basically did a 4.1 just planting the throttle which if you then think about it is savage quick for just planting it without the lc doing its job.
That's not fast enough for the power.
My 2011 ttrs pr is 11.27s quater mile and 3.14s to 60mph. Stock turbo stage 2 only. 400hp 500ftlbs
@@Neil-914 bigger displacement and sharper gearing due to dct possiblly. All these hot hatches are quick on the 1/4 due to quick gearing and awd but from 3rd to vmax and from a dig is when they slow down and run out of puff.
@@brucewayne2397 gearing would be similar I'd imagine. Both 7 speed dual clutch boxes. Golf R running that power with 6 speed dual clutch box would be in the high 10s
