i regret that until he succumbs to corona i hadn't known his greatness now i am watching every his past plays and realized great man suddenly disappear from us when we are more into him he would be remembered by later generations ! please rest in peace .

Do any of WR's fans really know what he's playing? And what about the other artists in the group are doing? Does it matter? In any case, the music sounds great, and the ensemble is so tight (of course, the musicians themselves know what they are doing). To me, it's about a transcendental energy stream dashing across the sound spectrum at twice the speed of light -- moderated and made congruent by human emotion and supreme genius above all else and representing an exercise in improvised musical googology of the highest order-of-magnitude. And it all started with New Orleans jazz 120 years ago. Jazz has never been more alive, daring us to follow it into the deepest recesses of the outer edges of the universe's soundscapes where accessible wisdom awaits to delight and inspire us all.
