    I really appreciate a doctor who has done their research and is not just quoting something from the CDC or WHO without actually explaining the why. Thank you.

    Thank you for this great info! I was recently traveling and found it really hard to find safe and appetizing food in airports, especially late at night when restaurants are closed or when in a hurry and just need to grab something. Lots of cold lunch meat sandwiches with no way to heat, packaged salads with no freshness date, hard boiled eggs (a past listeria risk), etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

    Thanks so much for all this info! I have a question about deli meat- is it safe to heat it to steaming and then chill it briefly in the fridge or freezer before eating?

    Hello ! I just found out that I am pregnant after missing my period. I am worried because I ate beef tartare and cured/marinated crab a few week! Will it affect my baby? Should I get it checked?

    I saw oysters on the good seafood list- would you advise the same caution as sushi to raw oysters?

    • @dr.martaperez
      @dr.martaperez  2 года назад +1

      Yes! It’s also a raw seafood so I would use the same discretion with preference for cooked and very reputable and fresh source.

    As a biological woman, you saying pregnant person triggers me. Give women some credit... don't take this away from us.

      @rhi963 Год назад +6

      you're extremely insecure about yourself, your own womanhood and femininity if a health care provider using a different word "triggers" you and "takes away" your motherhood. how sensitive are you?? OB's give mothers ALL the credit, they are amazed by and devote their LIVES to studying the female body.
