    A beautiful job of both workmanship and design. I can certainly relate to how much time it takes to think and rethink how to install a dro. I've done 2 different mills and the amount of time thinking is always much greater than the actual time of machining. BTW my moto is you can never have too many clamps. LOL Thanks as always for bringing us along. I know the time to think -machine and Film must be exhausting.

    Hi Mick, it's always a challenge mounting the scales. I opted for optical scales, and they are fairly thick and can become quite a challenge. As machinists we build 3D puzzles.

    Plenty of manufacturers of the hammered blue paint over here in the UK. We buy it in 10L cans.

      Figures. You probably also have plastic bags at the grocery store. We have too many eco-police here.

      @@MicksWorkshop i think we're up to £0.50 a plastic bag now robbing sods. So they sell heavy duty for life bags £3-5 that just get thrown away too.
