I had mines since last year and I think it is a wonderful tablet. It get the job done, I'm a student I take notes in class with it and do school work on it, if I don't feel like turning on my computer. It's very convenient especially when it comes to traveling, doesn't make your bag heavy or anything. If you are a student and you don't want to spend a lot of money. This is the tablet for you
Watching this video in Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 lite which i was purchased in 2021 and i think this is a best budget tablet for medium level of gaming, editing and browsing web, watching videos. Still using it without any problem One ui 5.1.

Since it’s almost black friday and the deals are solid this year. I decided to check this out on a whim and so far the 30 minutes ive played with its excellent for the price. I just wanted a reader and really just something to get me off my phone Edit a month later: I bought one and it had served me well
I got this tablet free yesterday from a friend who is thinning out his tech possessions. I've been using only cell phones for about a decade so the size is impressive to me. The battery life seems decent. I charged it to 72%, I've been using it for about 90 minutes and it's down to 66%. Your review was excellent. I agreed with everything you said.
I just purchased two of these for $30 each as a promo for a certain store credit card. I think it will be good enough to watch Netflix and such at work when I’m on break. Watching this video was helpful in seeing speed and resolution. Thank you.
Agree. Samsung needs yo come up with a first class small tablet, like the tabS2 or better, to compete. Samsung quality has been going down shame. Until then, Good bye Samsung.
My thoughts exactly! My guess is that samsung purposely leaves that category blank to push more people towards the fold series which is the closest thing to a mini tablet
I've been looking for affordable tablet for school stuff, like downloading PDFs, doing homework and all that. I'm not looking for something to play with or watch something on. I think this is what I need
As a user, the biggest problem is if it doesn't show it charging when plugged in, it won't turn on and it needs a hard reset. Hold down the volume and power button for a about 30secs. Id recommend an older version of a tablet which is the Samsung Tab A 8.4. I've never had this problem on the Tab A. Also, the best email app to use is Samsung Email and A7 Lite device doesn't allow that app. I use AOL email and it has all my folders in email tranferred directly over. It's also the fastest for receiving emails and sending them too.
Thank you for the great content FishBee. A bit of an offtopic. Based on your videos I bought P11 Pro and am super happy with it. I have also compared it with TabS8 as my colleague has it and Lenovo is just better with battery, display and weight(S8 is very hefty) while being half the price. Just wanted to say thank you sir :)
As med student i like this because its intermediary size is excellent to be use when you're in hospital / commuting / or even just in coffee shops to read notes/ slides that i've already studied. -I work on ipad to study properly at a desk, and altho it's the king in reading studying comfort, it's too big and heavy to be used anywhere else than a desk. -Phone (even 6.6 inch screen) are way too small for comfort to read. -But this tab lite is perfect in between. For example, when I commute, now instead of using my phone i use this tablet that is small enough to fit in a jacket pocket and to be handled with one hand, but decently large enough for reading papers/slides to memorize them. In hospital too, it's good to take notes and fits in medical coat's pockets and can be used with one hand holding it with another hand with a stylus. Or whenever I need to look up some book related to a patient's case (which is often), instead of pulling the big ipad, I use this. The key point is that because it's small enough to be used everywhere but large enough for minimal decent reading comfort, it's an absolute b omb for memory and for med students.
Mine is being shipped. I've used a few devices since my lineup of Google Nexus units for example the 10, 7 and 5 cell. I use microSD's regardless as I rip content from source. Originally I liked the 7 class devices as I used to slip it into my inside suit jacket pocket. I've used Magic Mount's in a couple of Jeep's in the front, but also in the back to watch (ripped) movies while out camping during winter as well. This Lite will make for a great offline GPS Nav unit as well. For these case uses I don't need the Snapdragon powered unit, therefor the MediaTek will suffice. I'm really surprised that this unit supports 1T in microSD as I'm using a 256M unit at this time. Still worth it in my case use.

It depends on what you've been using it for, if you've tried a somewhat strong game for it then that might be the issue or just maybe too many photos/too many apps.

Before purchasing a Samsung 7"........ Unknown to me Walmart has a 7" tablet that is in my opinion as good as a Samsung with no bloatware. It is their own brand. One day in Walmart they had a sale of $59 for one. So I picked one up and I'm very impressed with it. Great battery life, all the bells and whistles. Playstore is available. Android operating system. For $130, which is less than the price difference between iPad Mini Wifi and iPad Mini cellular, it will be good device for use as an navigation device for a old car , for controlling a drone or even an emergency backup for a lost phone.
Hi, thank you for the review! I'm thinking of buying this tablet for school and other basic stuff. Just a question, you mentioned being able to use an active stylus with this tablet, does it support palm rejection and/or pressure sensitivity? I'm aware I shouldn't expect much, but I'm just curious since I don't exactly have the funds for an S-Series Tablet 😅 (Probably the wrong place to ask considering you're not an artist, heh) Even without those two features I still think this is a decent tablet since I'm upgrading from the OG iPad Mini, which doesn't support those features or the apple pencil anyway so I'm not really downgrading or anything.
no palm rejection, only basic capacitive/active stylus. If you want something for drawing i would save up and at least get the tab s6 lite, or the ipad 9th gen

Great video! I always check your reviews, and because of that I bought the A8.4. It's a great tablet but I don't like that it doesn't have auto brightness. And this A7 lite in some videos believe or not it looks better than the A8.4. It seems to have better refresh rate
hello! thank you for the review. but I have a quick question for you. I was thinking of buying it but I need to know what brand and model of pen are you using on the video, please. thank you!
I got this tablet for free from T-Mobile but the service on it got discontinued and it was lagging badly. I will be upgrading to the Tab S9 soon as i already ordered mine with the 45w charger for less than $500.
Great review! I been thinking about this tab for quite a while now. Got the tab s7FE and ipad 6 mini. I love my ipad mini 6 however the limitation of os app keep me wanted to buy this.
I use to use the international version as my phone and it worked great. In less than a year AT&T shut my phone service down on this unit and when I called to find out why it took a good couple of hours and a few calls to AT&T to find out that it should not of been able to make and receive calls. When I informed them I have been doing so for almost a year all they could tell me was it is not supported by AT&T and I would have to purchase a phone that works in their network. Sad as I loved using this as my phone and watching videos, texting and basic day to day use.
Not tech savvy at all. Seeing the Google Play Store icon, so the same apps I'm using can be downloaded, but can I use USB to save stuff from my phone onto this, then move it to my old Toshiba external hard drive? Only had a (now "dead", sadly) Toshiba L505 laptop before this.
Got mine for $20 from metropcs. For that price its ok for a backup but the main problem is the processor and only 3gb ram. I was using it as a monitor for my wyze cams but with this tablet it has a 1 minute delay, Im guessing its the slow processor and low ram. No way would I pay full price for it. They are just getting rid of old stock at metropcs so I got is for $20 then canceled the service and use it as a backup
I've had mine for a while, I'm on it right now. I got it through Metropcs and I've been waiting for them to get an upgrade samsung tablet but I'm not gonna hold my breath. There's an option now though if you sacrifice some internal storage you can increase your ram
Does anyone know how to get the video to stop lagging after the audio when using the Xfinity Stream app on this tablet? I cannot locate the audio delay setting on this thing.
When you're holding it, does it feel like a phone ? Cuz like I am still 11 years old, and my hands are pretty small, i am afraid that it won't look like a tablet cuz it's too small 😅
I paid $80 plus tax for the 64 GB 4GB of ram Tab 7 lite on Black Friday 2021 Samsung sale. I traded in my 2016 Samsung tablet for $50 and they gave me a $70 rebate. I love my 7 lite more than my 7FE. I didn't want to 7 Lite, I just wanted to see if I could get it as cheap as they were advertising. I almost did.
i bought this in replace to a short period when i sold my Ipad pro 2017, i love the form factor but idk just about the processing power to is abit underserving to my needs. still a good budget esp for kids, doesn't feel cheap at all too.
I wonder if I should get one. I need a smaller tablet to mount permanently in my trucks console. It will be used to only run a couple of apps once in a while that control 12v devices over Bluetooth since my android radio doesn't offer Bluetooth device control. I would like to run a tasker style app too, to turn the screen on and off when it notices a charge. That way I never have to press a button to unlock it. Mount it and forget it. Any opinions from anyone reading?
Just got it and was very disappointed. Despite releasing 2 years later, it is slower than my Lenovo M8 from 2019. I wanted a replacement since my m8 has a cracked screen, and I ended up paying the same price for a worse product :( It feels like budget android tablets haven't gotten better in like 10 years. The software seems to get more demanding at the same rate that better parts become cheaper, so in the budget range, you always have these horrible laggy things. If this thing ran older versions of android, or they used a special lite version of one UI, the performance probably wouldn't be half bad. Important note to anyone: make sure you spend a lot of time comparing tablets and ask for opinions online before you buy one, else you might regret it.

Great review! I been thinking about this tab for quite a while now. Got the tab s7FE and ipad 6 mini. I love my ipad mini 6 however the limitation of os app keep me wanted to buy this.
Just want to check if spotify runs smoothly on 3GB +32GB variation?
@@TheMusicfreak14 I have it and it sure does.
I just got one and yes they stopped me from using the internet on mine l cant make calls its sad how they try to control what u do on your stuff
Vpn might help?
@@KpDKGaming what?
I got this tablet and I got it in 2020 and it's still working perfectly fine
Soo I want to get a tablet but is this one able to get any socials?
Can you tell me the name of the stylus you used in this video?
Active Stylus on amazon: amzn.to/3Xo6Tg5
Thanks!@@FishBeeProductions
Not tech savvy at all. Seeing the Google Play Store icon, so the same apps I'm using can be downloaded, but can I use USB to save stuff from my phone onto this, then move it to my old Toshiba external hard drive? Only had a (now "dead", sadly) Toshiba L505 laptop before this.
Yes you should be able to
Want to use it to play Pokemon GO but don't know if it works well?
Hi, would this be a good upgrade from the samsung tab a 8.0 w/ s pen 2019?
Slight downgrade in my opinion except for software updates
@@FishBeeProductions Thank you so much for the reply. Guess I'm gonna stay w/ my tab 'til sammy release a great 8 inch.
@@Pekkuツ the tab A7 lite is much better as far as specs and software goes
I got mine for 99 dollars a month ago. For that price yeah it's alright for a 2 year old tablet
Hi. What keyboard is that on 4:16 ?
logitech: amzn.to/3iQIDzD
Slow and laggy the day I bought it. Great for kids but not recommended.
What about widevine l1 certifications for Netflix Amazon prime etc?
Can you store netflix downloaded movies on the sd card?
Since Netflix gives you an option to choose your download location, I say yes
i commented to you on your a7 review and think this would be better for my senior friend due to the smaller size
Yes this would be lighter too
Got mine for $20 from metropcs.
Does it come with the pen??, If not may give me where I can find that pen please?
amzn.to/3Xo6Tg5
Hopefully they will have 5g for the ultra tablet soon in the states
Is the Tablet better than tab A 8.4?
I've had mine for a while, I'm on it right now. I got it through Metropcs and I've been waiting for them to get an upgrade samsung tablet but I'm not gonna hold my breath. There's an option now though if you sacrifice some internal storage you can increase your ram
Thanks you, answered a lot of questions I had.
Just picked up one for a good price. It’s worth it
ordered mine blind and is coming in soon my use is to code my cars with this maybe even watch some shows
Does anyone know how to get the video to stop lagging after the audio when using the Xfinity Stream app on this tablet? I cannot locate the audio delay setting on this thing.
is a more uploaded version coming out any time soon? im talking about a 8" tablet 😢
I thought so last year but no luck so far
I got that tablet last year in January sales,. Storage fills up fast tho even putting apps n that on SD card, but now got S6 lite.
When you're holding it, does it feel like a phone ? Cuz like I am still 11 years old, and my hands are pretty small, i am afraid that it won't look like a tablet cuz it's too small 😅
what pen dis you use?
one like this will work: amzn.to/3Xo6Tg5
I paid $80 plus tax for the 64 GB 4GB of ram Tab 7 lite on Black Friday 2021 Samsung sale. I traded in my 2016 Samsung tablet for $50 and they gave me a $70 rebate. I love my 7 lite more than my 7FE. I didn't want to 7 Lite, I just wanted to see if I could get it as cheap as they were advertising. I almost did.
Nice!
i bought this in replace to a short period when i sold my Ipad pro 2017, i love the form factor but idk just about the processing power to is abit underserving to my needs. still a good budget esp for kids, doesn't feel cheap at all too.
Dude it is almost free. Just buy it, you wont regret. I also have ipad but this ones's form factor is more handy
@@AdiLazimDegil2 How is this one more form factor friendly?
Is it compatible with galaxy watch 5?
Is this worth getting over the fire hd 10 or 11? I’m using it for school
fire hd 10 and 11 will have better screen, and probably better performance, this one will have better apps to use
What stylus do you use?
Any active stylus like this will work: amzn.to/3Xo6Tg5
@@FishBeeProductions Thank you!
can it still run roblox? I'm thinking of buying this for my lil sis. She plays roblox mainly and just watch yt. Do you recommend it?
Thanks for the video
I plan I buying one I wanted a Samsung tab s6 but I can’t afford that one and the a7 is one I’ve found it looks decent
hello can I use a pen so I can take notes for school? I thought s pen is not compatible for this? How can I make it work with pen?
S pen doesn't work for this tablet. I used this one in the video: amzn.to/3Xo6Tg5
Hey is this the 32gb or 64gb version in your review
32
I purchased 3 of these tablets for 79$CND during a sale , I use it daily
Just got it and was very disappointed. Despite releasing 2 years later, it is slower than my Lenovo M8 from 2019. I wanted a replacement since my m8 has a cracked screen, and I ended up paying the same price for a worse product :(
It feels like budget android tablets haven't gotten better in like 10 years. The software seems to get more demanding at the same rate that better parts become cheaper, so in the budget range, you always have these horrible laggy things. If this thing ran older versions of android, or they used a special lite version of one UI, the performance probably wouldn't be half bad.
Important note to anyone: make sure you spend a lot of time comparing tablets and ask for opinions online before you buy one, else you might regret it.
i'm hoping they will have an updated version coming out later this year
A stylus for this tab which works perfectly for this tab❤
