Thank the lord I grew up in that era. Kids today don’t know what they missed out on. They could watch it on line or dvd, but their was just something about coming home from school and sitting in front of your tv and watching these awesome shows. Or just waking up Saturday mornings eating your favorite cereal , sitting in front of your tv and watching those Saturday morning cartoon shows👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

That could have saved the show and it probably was planned for the second or third season to have them cross over with the ThunderCats but when they found out that it was slipping and ratings they should have pulled the trigger and did a two-part crossover episode with the ThunderCats basically explaining that they had been in outer space in the limbo Galaxy so long that the destruction of Earth took place and they didn't return home until 3rd Earth and they should have went toe to toe against the ThunderCats until they found out the ThunderCats were good guys

I'm pleasantly surprised by this news of a Silverhawks reboot. I worked on the tail end of the original series during my tenure at Rankin/Bass, mostly calling retakes on animation footage. Even while working on it, I wasn't a big fan of the series. I had just finished working on the Galaxy Rangers series, so the SilverHawk's style of sci-fi seem too childish. That said, looking at it today, with a nod toward the success of Guardians of the Galaxy, it might be the right time for the return of the Silverhawks.
Oh wow. Some of the script was a little silly looking back on it, but I loved the series as a kid and alway wanted to see this and the related series, thunder cats, come together. Got a small peek at that during the TC reboot. This might just be the right time if done properly. Thank you for your work on the series. The 10 year old me is screaming while jumping up and down. 😂
I still use the opening theme as my ring tone. The opening them was like a call to assemble in front of the TV 🤣 80's cartoons had great opening themes.
Personally I would love to see MAPPA, A1 Pictures, Production I.G. or Madhouse do the reboot. Hopefully the writers will not deviate from the original series.

I talk about this cartoon often but not many ppl...say for 1 or 2 here and there...even remember it. I had the action figures as well and luvd them! Would be great to hear the original voice actors reprise their roles if at all possible. Same goes for The ThunderCats...absolute CLASSICS back in our day! I can't wait for this to happen.💯

It’s probably closer to Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets, in terms of the “bionic”/enhanced heroes. Bird-like costumes and the main ship was a Phoenix. Five characters. Jason, Tiny, Keop and Princess were the side characters. Mark as the leader. Will be interesting to see what comes of this.
It will be really interesting to see if it will become a live action feature film, but I should also like to see the Thundercats be made into a live action film aswell. I hope that it doesn't flop like Judge Dredd though & the characters are full on badass especially the Villains & Monstarr is extremely mercilessly brutal & a villain that strikes fear into all who serve & oppose him. as all characters have to show themselves to be formidable.

I was fortunate to being an 80s kid who grew up with awesomely created cartoon series that were way ahead of their time in terms of animation and storylines. Silver Hawks was one of my favourites after Thundercats. The other great ones that need a live action movie are in my opinion: Bravestarr, Bionic 6, MASK, Captain Power, Thundarr the Barbarian, Biker Mice from Mars. These were the pantheon of Saturdays for me. Kids today are given nonsense compared to the gems of the 80s
OMG I hope they reboot a animation of SilverHawks! I LOVED this show and still do. My kids whom are 25 & 21 were raised on the cartoons I grew up to. Including Thundercats and SilverHawks. If they do don the animation version, let’s hope they don’t go the way the “New She-Ra and ThunderCats went. Even the new Scooby Doo cartoons are terrible in animation. 😢

Bionic Six, Inhumanoids, Mighty Orbots, Voltron (Lion), Thundarr The Barbarian, M.A.S.K, and of course Masters Of The Universe (we originally were gonna get one in 2021, but that Netflix cartoon instead 🙄) also Thundercats (needs LOTR treatment)!! All of these (and others) could make awesome live action films!! 👍👍

I love American/ and Japan GIANT Robots Tranzor Z and GranDizer , MagaZor and My favorite is still Robotech animation . And Star Blazers Cartoons Japan .

I'm from Asia, i grew up with these cartoons. And yes, they were so popular back then.
It’s probably closer to Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets, in terms of the “bionic”/enhanced heroes. Bird-like costumes and the main ship was a Phoenix. Five characters. Jason, Tiny, Keop and Princess were the side characters. Mark as the leader.
Will be interesting to see what comes of this.

Gatchaman aren't enhanced or bionic, BTW. They're superpowered because they're literally ninjas, lol. SCIENCE ninjas!
I wish they would make a Samson and Goliath movie . That would be awesome. Loved that animated show.
It will be really interesting to see if it will become a live action feature film, but I should also like to see the Thundercats be made into a live action film aswell.
I hope that it doesn't flop like Judge Dredd though & the characters are full on badass especially the Villains & Monstarr is extremely mercilessly brutal & a villain that strikes fear into all who serve & oppose him. as all characters have to show themselves to be formidable.

I was fortunate to being an 80s kid who grew up with awesomely created cartoon series that were way ahead of their time in terms of animation and storylines. Silver Hawks was one of my favourites after Thundercats. The other great ones that need a live action movie are in my opinion: Bravestarr, Bionic 6, MASK, Captain Power, Thundarr the Barbarian, Biker Mice from Mars. These were the pantheon of Saturdays for me. Kids today are given nonsense compared to the gems of the 80s

OMG I hope they reboot a animation of SilverHawks! I LOVED this show and still do. My kids whom are 25 & 21 were raised on the cartoons I grew up to. Including Thundercats and SilverHawks. If they do don the animation version, let’s hope they don’t go the way the “New She-Ra and ThunderCats went. Even the new Scooby Doo cartoons are terrible in animation. 😢
If this movie is made please I beg the makers to do a good job I know silverhawks were not on for a long time but for people my age it left the mark I love that cartoon please do it just Sincerely A fan

The Centurion from Filmation with more than 100 episodes is worth to have a live action.
Bionic Six, Inhumanoids, Mighty Orbots, Voltron (Lion), Thundarr The Barbarian, M.A.S.K, and of course Masters Of The Universe (we originally were gonna get one in 2021, but that Netflix cartoon instead 🙄) also Thundercats (needs LOTR treatment)!! All of these (and others) could make awesome live action films!! 👍👍

Silverhawks a shinning light in the night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Partly metal partly real Silverhawks!!!!!!!!!!!!! I STILL remember that unforgettable theme song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also remember Bravestar which also was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really like this cartoon. It is a shame they canceled it. It would be cool if they did a reboot of the Silver Hawks better yet do a cross episode with the Thundercats.

One of some hidden gems that never get remake. I was waiting for 3D remake like Saint Seiya, its awesome. Live action too risky to failed.

I love American/ and Japan GIANT Robots Tranzor Z and GranDizer , MagaZor and My favorite is still Robotech animation . And Star Blazers Cartoons Japan .
@@richa.s9912 pretty much the same, although I didn't get into Japanese animation until much later. Voltron was my favorite growing up, The Mighty Orbots was like a cheap knock off but I was the same, big robots lol
