Went in there a final time a couple days after this video was posted. It’s so eerie with the few shops that have Grand Opening signs only to know what’s coming in about a month
The Interior of this place looks pretty nice. Another shock to the system to think that after only 45 years it too, is obsolete. I still do not understand why people would shop online where they can not touch, feel, or see the product. I know that we have had catalogs for over 100 years where people would buy something with only pictures to look at...but I will miss the ability to pick out something in person. Long ago they learned that people would buy more if there was more on display in a store. But now, that philosophy seems to be gone forever.
Times have changed for everyone and it's sad people don't socialize like we used to back in the day. Similar to arcades when game consoles came out in the 90s.
I’m sad that Spring Hill mall is closing last day for Spring Hill mall is March 22 2024 I will return to Spring Hill mall on Wednesday February 28 2024 before it closes
Your thumbnail says East Dundee, the mall is in West Dundee. Those are two separate towns. A tiny portion of the mall is also in Carpentersville 😊 not trying to be a smartass, just a lifelong resident of the area and I want to make sure people aren’t confused.
Thank you Spring Hill Mall for your years of Service. We won't forget you! #mallrats never growup
damn good mall, that store at 3:40 with brown windows used to be a zoomies. I got my first skateboard there good times.

I think they rent out space for a month at a time to get some final revenue. Yes the grand opening signs are interesting.

This mall is so pretty, although empty.
And now officially closed.

I'll try and get out there on the day it closes.
I think you should return there on the last day of the mall’s operations.
Yes for the "very last" video

Yes thanks. Not sure why I picked the wrong name as I used to live in Algonquin. I'll get that updated.
This mall will close its doors permanently on next Friday.
End of an era.
Dundee just going to close it. And let the building rot there how sad.
Assuming tax revenue is low due to sales. Redeveloping the property will bring in more jobs and a larger tax base.
@@400FootTravel they said the same thing with st charles.. over 6 years later its still setting there.
