Draw with Jazza hey jazza I was thinking about getting some but I can't afford them. Do you have some other recommendations for me??
Kasey Makes the ciao markers are a bit cheaper than the sketch but they are just as good, they're what i use. Other than that just look for some alcohol based markers, i think theres a brand called promarkers and I believe the website dickblick have their own brand of them too. But I haven't tried them so yeah.
Kasey Makes check out Baylee Jae's channel. She has some very in depth videos about alcohol markers and good alternatives to copics.

you should do a challenge were you draw with copic markers and have to try to draw something only by bleeding it through the page
colorless blender is basically like water that will remove dirt as well as making your dirt vanish slowly if you rub with it a lot

promarkers/brushmarkers are a good cheaper alternative, but they're still fairly expensive

I'd love to see a series of progress pics on a drawing you do involving some of these tips! I think that would be super useful (especially for the last tip, and the blending/tonal interest tips you gave), because we could see a before and after version of your line art and colors!

For those of you asking about alternatives, my sister bought me a set of Blick art markers and some extra tones to get me started. The markers are about $3 per marker and work pretty much the exact same as these (in my experience, anyway). I would really recommend them if you're on a budget.
This helps soooo much! People used to make fun of me...but now you've taught me this and I'm one of the most popular kids in the school! THANK YOU JAZZA!😆

The nibs are replaceable and they don’t fray unless you use them on a really textured surface because they are made out of a different material that don’t fray.

Your method of blending skin-tones, specifically the order of lighter and darker tones you use, totally reminds me of makeup application, specifically eyeshadow blending. I literally use the exact same formula/sequence for blending lighter and darker colors to create the perfect blend 😊 I thought that was pretty cool! 💕😎👍💕

Some pro's even prefer that way.

I've never used copics before and would like to know do they give off a smell? Do they smell like rubbing alcohol?

Ok, thanks. Just when he said they're alcohol based, i thought that they MUST have a smell. Now i know.
They do have a smell to them and it can bother some people, but I wouldn't let it stop you unless you are very sensitive to things like that.

I've done the grey to mute a tone forever in my eyeshadow. I can use pretty much any bright or garish color in a palette by first laying down a grey, either cool or warm as indicated, and layering to get the shade I want. Honestly, the more I learn from art - in a variety of mediums, the more I learn about makeup and vice-versa. It makes total sense when you think about it, but it still constantly fascinates me. Like I learned a Lot about brush handling from watercolor that has really upped my makeup skills.
I have 10 copics that I use combined with all the promarkers that I have. I have also ordered 24 more copics to complete with more earth tones that I don't find in promarkers. It works great to use them together as long as you know how to use the markers for your art style 🙂
