I was there that night. It was such a blur - banger after banger. But then they started playing this and *everyone* lost their shit at the breakdown. It was glorious.
My friend went to this performance. Massive metalhead, every song he can play on guitar is with at least 7 strings and a crazy time sig, but even he said Muse were solid at Download
Crowd: Muse don't deserve to be at Download! Muse: **fucking drops The Handler, Dead Star, Micro Cuts, Citizen Erased, Agitated onto the setlist** Crowd: :0
It wasn’t even what they played, it’s the fact that they turned it up too 11 whilst keeping it muse and blew the crowd away! So many people didn’t want them at download then left baffled by what they had just witnessed. You had to be there
yeah! download festival 2015 was the best concert ever! nothing can top this! (im saying this because i saw this on MTVLV.) if you agree, give me a Hell Yeah!
Just having a private mini-Download in this social distancing time. We'll be back. 2021 will be the best Download ever, all the crew are as itching for it as the guests!
This was my first download! Been there every year since! I was so drunk and this was honestly one of the best moments of my life! (Just ahead of seeing Matt fall over earlier on during the set) Amazing crowd and amazing set!
Awesome awesome what a trio of band members. The drummer bass then matt as singer and what a guitarist. Just incredible. Amazing. Keep going boys. 👍👍👍👍
I think that this track was inspired by Sergio Leoni and Emilio Morricone. Once upon a time in the west. Charles Branson and Henry Fonda. Watch the film and see the similarities. Classic track though👍
Gerald Neo theres a few around of various bits from download no full sets just certain songs it broadcasted on sky arts in the UK a few weeks after the festival
dear god, was I really this stupid. today is my 3 year anniversary of learning to play the guitar and I can now say I fully understand everything that is going on with that guitar.
My thoughts and prayers are with your BAND MEMBERS... THIS IS YOUR SONG WRITER. THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING THROUGH, THOUGH I NEVER BOT PAID FOR ANYTHING, I HOPE THAT ONE DAY I WILL BE DELIVERED FROM POVERTY AND HELP OTHERS OUT IN THE TIME OF STRUGGLE AND DISTRESS. FOLLOW ME ON FACEBOOK SCOTT GROSSMAN . MUSE, YOU ARE APART OF 340 OTHER MUSIC ARTISTS THAT I'VE CREATED. COMBINED... THANK YOU!!!!
I was there and, watching this back, all I can remember is desperately trying to get out of the crowd to escape the bloody harmonica. Alas, t'was to no avail. First half of the show was great though.
+Handsome Squidward Not a fan of Ennio Morricone? Perhaps the greatest composer for cinema ever? Because that's his Man with a Harmonica Chris plays at the beginning for their live performances of this song.
Brandon Brown I like the piece itself (and yes, I know what it is and who it's by) but they've been using MWAH as an intro to Knights for 7 or 8 years now so I find both it and KOC boring.
Handsome Squidward Well, they continue using it because it fits the song perfectly. It'd sound weird and incomplete for them to play KoC without the intro now.
Brandon Brown It fits the song well but it's become boring because they've run it into the ground. Now, it's just an extra 2 minutes of waiting for the song to start at every gig. If anything, it'd be refreshing if they gave it a new intro or got rid of it altogether.
Handsome Squidward I don't agree. If the intro is worn out then the song itself must be too. It's still going to be the same song with a new intro, an intro that likely won't sound as good leading into it.
Interesting because you're on RUclips but don't know how to use Google. That fluffy song uses harmonica sample from Man With Harmonica which written by Ennio Morricone for the 1968 film Once Upon a Time in the West. Muse never claim they made it.
@@geetraldinha wow, triggered much. The Orb, and most music within their genre, are all based upon samples. I'm well aware, being a sound engineer for a living. While I go and figure out how to use the Google machine, can you run yourself a nice hot bath and relax please? 😂
I was there that night. It was such a blur - banger after banger. But then they started playing this and *everyone* lost their shit at the breakdown. It was glorious.
I remember everyone saying Muse wouldn’t be able to hack it at download and I was like just wait and watch.
Rest In Peace Maestro Morricone.
Listen to that crowd singing along... Iconic
And the Download faithful said they didn't belong there, I love how they were proved wrong!
And people thought that Muse wouldn't fit in at Download... Oh man what a band!
My friend went to this performance. Massive metalhead, every song he can play on guitar is with at least 7 strings and a crazy time sig, but even he said Muse were solid at Download
Who said Muse wouldn't be accepted at Download. Most metalheads I know respect the fuck out of Muse.
Crowd: Muse don't deserve to be at Download!
Muse: **fucking drops The Handler, Dead Star, Micro Cuts, Citizen Erased, Agitated onto the setlist**
Crowd: :0
Muse are absolutely heavy
It wasn’t even what they played, it’s the fact that they turned it up too 11 whilst keeping it muse and blew the crowd away! So many people didn’t want them at download then left baffled by what they had just witnessed.
You had to be there
What a crowd
I was at that festival 😀😀😀

The best show I've ever seen by Muse...absoloutly incredible!!
I mostly listen to Muse for their awesome guitar work!!!
It took me years to realize he was singing along with the guitar in the opening. So great!
Matt has a very high falsetto, and you can barely hear it because he loves to play with his guitar
Best Intro Ever!!!
hell yeah! nothing can top this!!!
Well sure, it was written by the great and immortal Ennio Morricone ;)
What an amazing performance. I love how the video showcases Chris......he is WAY under rated as a bassist.
This song was amazing live!
Even better because it was at Download Festival!

me too....this was the best one ever! nothing else can top this! thats my opinion. like if you agree
I think that this track was influenced by"'Once upon a true in the west" Sergio Leone and Emiome
Indeed it was, note for note.
That's me at 5:32 looking like shit haha 😆
haha lol
WTF? Not even a single phone?
is that a 4 string ibanez Chris is playing........if so I have the same one 😆 same colour
+Ben Flanagan It's a status signature bass
I think that this track was inspired by Sergio Leoni and Emilio Morricone. Once upon a time in the west. Charles Branson and Henry Fonda. Watch the film and see the similarities. Classic track though👍
La guitarra del minuto 2:58 suena a moscas, iugh!!
where did you get proshot of download 2015? is it full gig or just knights
Gerald Neo theres a few around of various bits from download no full sets just certain songs it broadcasted on sky arts in the UK a few weeks after the festival
How the hell did he make his got at sound like that
what?!
If you're talking about his guitar, It's just a bunch of effect Pedals :)
+Sky King yea i know
dear god, was I really this stupid. today is my 3 year anniversary of learning to play the guitar and I can now say I fully understand everything that is going on with that guitar.
What is the name of the intro song?
Man with the harmonica
Man with a harmonica
by Ennio Marricone, scored one of the best films of all time, Once Upon a Time in the West
They haven't changed a bit.
Whatever he’s doing to that microphone at The begginning - I’m in 😂

lol
#harambedixout
*Unzips*
Ah.............................
Intro kinda sounds like a horror game soundtrack
The bassist could've played his tapping solo...
It's actually not a tapping solo, it's a synth bass.
Felix Abk Oh okay.
+Peteris Rudzitis yup
Fckn arrogant guy lol
+Felix Abk I remember reading somewhere the studio version was a tap solo
Слава световику - классический раздозбай! на человек!
