Jesse here: I love the supernatural part of Indiana Jones! It's so interesting! Jesse on Chilluminati: The supernatural is stupid and should be explained! *pouts* (nothing to see here folks, just some good natured rubbing)
The ship part of this game reminded me of the AMC series, "The Terror." Pretty solid show. Stars Jared Harris, love that guy. Anyways... I recommend it.
This globetrotting adventure is what Tomb Raider used to be all about. Yes, Tomb Raider was almost certainly inspired by Indiana Jones, but the "reboot/prequel" trilogy was usually so "localized" compared to previous eras, mostly restricted to single regions. But this? This is a true globetrotter that embraces variety. Getting real Half-Life 2: Episode Two vibes from that ship in the mountains. Very Philadelphia Experiment, if anyone remembers that old conspiracy theory. ...and then once we enter the ship, I get Cryostasis flashbacks, if anyone remembers the swan-song of Action Forms.
@@Bunge16 Honestly I wouldn't be surprised if it was. With how Episode Two ended on such a cliffhanger, leaving off on a thread that wasn't resumed for about 12 years, it makes sense for people to want to recapture what they could have gotten.
1:15:51 Sucked... past tense... Quite a different situation today. One may even say boot is on the other foot!... Apart from Italy perhaps (sorry Italians)
Big spoiler for the back third of the video: - - - - - - - I love that, with the inclusion of that one crashed fighter pilot, you officially get to punch at least one soldier from each member of the Axis in this game :P Edit: D'oh! Jesse got to that observation on his own if I'd just waited three more minutes!
After playing the game and watching others play, I've noticed the Harrison Ford model sometimes looks Identical to Oliver Stark from 9-1-1. Anyone else notice that or am I crazy?
1:02:55 "What you have is your stupid American cartoons [...] and the piss you call beer" That just sounds like a trading opportunity to me (American cartoons for German beer) 🤷
I love how Jesse tried to explain his thinking with the code wheel puzzle, then gave up and didn’t finish that explanation. Classic Cox!
That was so frustrating to watch, lol.
I must say, this game is more Indiana Jones then the most recent Indiana Jones moves and I love it🎉😂😊

One of my favorite things about this series is how angry Jesse gets when he’s interrupted while reading.
Every time Gina does something wild I can't help but here Terry Crews shout "DAMN, Gina!" in my head.
Lol😂
This playthrough is one of my favorites in a long time. TY, Jesse
This series belongs in a museum.
1:26:09 He's not nuts. He's crazy!
Back to back Indy - here we go!😊

@@TheSnorlax7 That first season was fantastic.
when did Jesse add "...brother, what?" to his vocabulary because it is CONSTANT now lol
@@Sith9890 See also: “Yeahhhh?”
At least he stopped calling (primarily female) enemies "whores" like he used to do ad nauseum in the old days.
It's funny, because I'm always saying stuff like, "Brother, turn left! Left! LEFT!"

Amazing mission
They missed a trick when she fell on the mountain.
Should have had the Sherpa walk past her, on her level, and repeat "Stupid tourists!" 😂
They also could've had a person frozen on the ship like Han Solo in carbonite.

@@GmodPlusWoW I believe that the battleship is supposed to be an explicit shoutout to the Borealis.
Also gave me huge Uncharted 1 vibes, with the U-boat randomly stranded atop a jungle cliff

Oh wow, I wasn’t expecting that reveal with Gina.
i am curious as to what jesse cox was thinking about they way the pass word puzzle was supposed to work at around the 57:09 mark
1:25:51 is a nice line too, but it should be Harrison Ford's.

It's even better than that: Jesse missed an opportunity to shoot a charging swordsman with his gun there.
Sad Jesse missed the sword bit in Shanghai... -_-
