- My transcription for two pianos of "What Lies at the End" from Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
This... took... forever... I really love this song though so it was worth it. Hopefully you guys enjoy it too. I have one or two more songs from Echoes in mind, but for now I'm gonna try to catch up with requests first. Thank you for being patient ^o^

Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden for the Nintendo 3DS.
On the continent of Valentia lived a pair of sibling gods, Mila and Duma. These two gods fought a savage war over their conflicting ideals, before finally forging a pact to divide the continent into two. Afterwards, two nations-Rigel and Zofia-were formed around these gods. In the coming millennia, the continent ushered in an age of peace. However, in the current era, war threatens to engulf Valentia once again and only two youths-Alm and Celica-hold the power to stop it.

I know The Saint and the Sacrifice gets a lot of love but this theme just hits all the right feels for Alm's end of the war.
Each song in Fire Emblem Echoes went perfect for whatever situation they were in. This song gives me that sad-happy feeling. The same feeling I got when I finished the game yesterday.
It's a very mature sound. Kind of reminiscent/nostagic, kind of sad, kind of hopeful, with a sense of determination and forward movement (almost marching) created by the repetitive piano notes.
That's exactly it! I also like this song because it reminds me of Alm and I like Alm alot.
The Sacrifice and the Saint sucks tbh
I don't think so but I still like this song better.

The beginning of this and the original never gets old for me.
Amazingly beautiful! I like how they put the Heritors of Arcadia and main Fire Emblem theme melody bits in it! That really made this tune all the more spectacular! ^.^

@@zakaria5739 I'm definitely better but still a beginner because I don't practice as much as I should. Right now my keyboard is in the closet somewhere. I'm waiting for my sister to move some stuff so that there's enough room for me to bring it out again.
Also, I got a violin for Christmas. Now I've got two instruments to learn.

I haven't played Shadows of Valentia myself; but I've heard its soundtrack being played in some of the Fire Emblem Heroes maps; best to say that I've been left stunned and enchanted by this lovely piece.

TripleJ41044 two, but it’s possible to select parts out of the four lines into only two parts for one person to play. Which is what I do

You'd need two pianos and two pairs of hands to play it, or another person playing the piano with you.
