    Thank you so much Valerie, I really really enjoyed watching you create that gorgeous and stunning star, and I really really love ❤️ it. I’m going to make some leaves, for an Autumn themed wreath. Im hoping they will come out as good as your star ⭐️ did. I’ve subscribed and given you a thumbs up too. Please stay safe and well too

    Wow! What kind of embroidery machine do you have?

    May I ask why you used such a large hoop, it would have fitted in a 4x4. There would be not so much waste

    Does it only have to be lace? Can I embroider anything using this stabilizer? Thank you

    Beautiful…why are you using two sheets of stabilizer?

    • @WonderFilThreads
      @WonderFilThreads  3 года назад +1

      One sheet wasn't quite enough as it felt a little thin for the amount of stitching we were doing, so we doubled it up.

    Hi Valery ,I've started doing machine lace embroidery and I have to put 4 layers of stabilizer cause it's thin and when I made it first time with one layer the lace didn't bond together and I'm finding it very expensive to make something. Please can you tell me the name of the free standing stabilizer and what grade do you use ?Thank you

      Hi Marthese, the stabilizer we used in this video is by Floriani: rnk-floriani.com/products/Floriani-Water-Soluble-Stabilizers/Floriani-Wet-N-Gone
      We usually get away with using 2 layers of this. Make sure it's the more fabric feeling Wet N Gone and not the water soluble topper Floriani also makes. Hope this helps!

    Hi can I do this on a regular sewing machine with an embroidery foot?

    • @WonderFilThreads
      @WonderFilThreads  3 года назад +1

      We haven't tried it this way ourselves but it should be possible. Just be very careful to not leave any open ends and make sure your design is fully closed or you may end up with holes.

      This is a Janome Horizon Memory Craft sewing and embroidery machine. You can search for Janome dealers in your local area to purchase one.

      Hi Tina, we do for some countries. If you live in the UK, you can purchase from www.wonderfil.co.uk and if you live in Europe, you can purchase from www.wonderfil.eu. However if you live in North America, you can see if there's a quilt shop in your area that sells our thread at www.wonderfil.ca/locations and if there isn't anyone local, then send us an email at marketing@wonderfil.net and we can help you out!

    Thanks for the video. But such a waste of stabilizer. Een when used efficiently there is still to much waste.

    • @WonderFilThreads
      @WonderFilThreads  4 года назад +6

      Actually that's great that you bring this up. It is a lot of waste, but you can actually take the scraps and sew them back together using water soluble thread and get a second (or third) use out of the leftover pieces!
      This is a great way to use Rinse 'n Gone water soluble thread, which you can learn more about here: ruclips.net/video/HHvQ1G-z83U/видео.html
