Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is a human rights movement disguised as a coffee shop, where people with intellectual & developmental disabilities are valued in the workplace. It’s a place where diversity isn’t just appreciated, it’s celebrated. Bitty & Beau’s Coffee proudly employs 400+ individuals with disabilities nationwide.
Me and my Wife have personally been sipping coffee at the Wilmington NC location for over five years now.. I have seen everyone greet, laugh, smile, dance, share stories, ask what we have planned for the holidays, as all of you are family. We share a laugh, and bring happiness to everyone that has walked into the doors.
I remember when the Ice machine went kaput in the middle of the day and my wife and I circled all over Wilmington to purchased dozens of bags of ice to make sure everyone got iced coffee that day! The staff was so grateful it made me cry because I would not hesitate to do it again. Ben and Amy, Bitty, Beau, and Matt, and everyone else, you rock and Tiff and I will see you Monday!
