I remember after my High School Anime club we would cross the street to our local Barnes and noble and hang out in the Manga section if not at the cafe. However, at times we would get told by a security guard that we can't loiter in any of the sections and that's what ruined it for us. This was a decade ago and now I see Barnes and Noble disorganized in all their genre sections and some areas are just used for storage, but at least they still have a cafe. They really should have expanded upon the Barnes and Noble experience and made lounges near some aisles so if you are just with friends to read the next issue of My Hero Academia you could just chill there. Instead they're letting it rot like a corpse and that's coming from someone who is more of a Math guy than a reading guy.
