hmmm when the flap is level with the wing there is little load on the servo, when the flap is extended into the airflow that is when you have the maximum load on the servo. so really what you are doing is pointless. just position them the same as your ailerons

Hi, some of the guys are using tape with ailerons you know, but your system is looking much better how did you do it, can you show or tell us?
servo horn should be half length, and an 180 degree rotation is desirable. that way the servo is under no load when fully extended.

Does it matter if you install the servos more near the body of the plane or do you have to have it centered with the flaps
