    I would think in your procedure you would have tested the connections prior to installing the servo just in case . Thanks for the video.

      Thank you for your comment. This build had all new servos. If there is ever a question though, we test before the build begins.

      That Laser is one sweet flying bird. That particular one belongs to a friend of the channel. Jason killed his last year :( There will be more though :)

    Great video, one never stops learning!!
    Can you expand a little on the building board you are using on top of the bench, i.e. size, and material. It appears to be raised above the bench surface - why?
    Looking forward to hearing about the matchmaker replacement

      Thank you Brian. My work bench is a little complex. The base is actually Closetmaid garage storage cabinets that I got from The Home Depot. After that was leveled using the adjustable legs I placed a 3x8 ft solid core door on top.On top of that is a layer of 3/4" MDF and a layer of 3/8 tempered glass. The glass and MDF are swapped depending on what I am doing. When I am building, vacuum bagging, or rigging I use the MDF. When I am covering I use the glass. I can also add sheet rock or ceiling tiles if I want to be able to pin things to the board easier.
      I hope this helps. Maybe we will do a video on the bench itself in the future.

    Why do it directly over finished wing , possibly damage it 🙀🙀

      Since this is an ARF there is really no way around working over a finished surface. What would you recommend?

    Please do not use Loctite to retain the servo arm screw as they are hard to remove without using heat, Silicone over the screw once fitted works very well & is easier to remove & easier to remove screw when required.

      Thank you for your comment. If you are having to use heat to remove Loctite, it is because you are using the red kind. If you use blue Loctite, heat is not required. After years of using blue Loctite, I have never had an issue removing the arm. I have used the silicone method in the past but prefer the cleaner look of Loctite personally.

      If you are using the wrong Loctite, please get someone that knows what they are doing to do the job for you, like the pro in this video. It’s supposed to be hard to remove. That’s why you use Loctite 😂.

    My plane is to be not more than 120 g
    motor 2 = 70g
    Receiver = 20g
    Batter = 20g
    And last servo 20 g only one , but I need too for the elevator s .

    What size braided sleeve do you use for servo wires?

      1/4 inch works the best. You can make the 1/8 inch work but you have to be a little creative.

    Can you tell me, if is the same procces on a 100cc wing plane? Regards 😋

      The only difference with a 100cc plane will be that there are 2 servos. We will try to cover this when we do the build of our new Sky Wing 120cc Laser.

    Does it matter if you install the servos more near the body of the plane or do you have to have it centered with the flaps

      Hello. Thank you for your comment. On ARF models like this, the servo location is dictated for you.
      If this were a kit, you would still want to locate the servo as close to the center as possible to limit the amount of flex in the aileron.
      There are benefits in regards to rotational mass when you move the servos inboard but you must be careful not to induce other issues.
