Its one of the safest cities in the world. Its not like you are in Russia or China or other third world countries!!.
It's a beauliful city😍(despite the dirty parts) but i've seen so many bad things about there (the violence, the illegals causing a chaos) the violence in the subways .... anyway i really want to visit NY one day, despite all that, i still think it's a beaultiful city ❤ but i'm afraid of not feel safe when i be there 😶
There's no sense of danger when you're there. And no real reason to be scared. You'll be surprised. Just stay above 42nd at night or stay below 14th street at night. There was reason in the 70s and 80s and very early 90s to be scared though. It was palpable and very dangerous then.
