Imagine Lusamine still recovering from the events of Main SuMo, she's still trying to make amends with Lily & Gladion, but then all these Alternate Universe Team Leaders show up and drag her back into her old ways, saying her plans have a chance to succeed, if she joined Them! (Ya know, like an Actual Sequel!)
Yeah I definitely would want usum as a sequel the PC could of been helio/selena cousins and we get to know there parents along with the dad of hello/Selena. Then have team skull be reskull and resuce people like the grunts wanted with their HQ being a clean and functional po town, gladeon is working at athear like at the end of SM and Lillie is also working at athear as a medical researcher and become a fairy trainer in her spear time, hua is a new kahuna and is a psychic trainer I can't see him parting with Raichu, in post game guzma and plumera are the battle tree masters
This reminds me of pokemon the first movie where it was actually mewtwo inviting everyone to the island and combined with it's ability to give people amnesia of events, I am speculating they went with that also.

Something like Eternatus and Dynamax pokemon would indeed get Giovanni's attention, the power of that legendary plus a army of Giants would reduce a region to rubble within a day or less.
I think that like with mafia bosses irl and in movies, despite failing and getting beat more than once, he is never officially caught and sent to jail because he has the money to pay off whoever he needs. There's definitely time shenanigans going on in Pokemon Masters. We have Sun and Moon characters which indicates they have gone on their journeys. Red and Green/Blue are adults in Sun and Moon. They are visibly clearly older than they were in past games. Despite this, Red and Green/Blue in Pokemon Masters have their HGSS designs (though Red's outfit is different, this is likely because he's wearing a Sygna Suit). They're clearly not as old as they are in Sun and Moon. We know they were invited to Pasio, so the events likely take place around the time of HGSS or B2W2, I'm leaning towards B2W2. Any characters from events that take place after B2W2 are likely being sent to Pasio through some time-space shenanigans. I do believe Hoopa is responsible for at least some of them. Giovanni obviously showed up simply because he can dimension hop at will.
You know how much Toby really have played/cares about, this game, when he suggests to use bug and ghost types against Mewtwo. Other than that it is a fun video, as I have always found team Rocket to be the best evil team and Rainbow Rocket really took them up a notch.
I mean I am playing daily and yes okay fair point only Dark does work against it because of the single typing but also I use Phoebe and Nolan’s who are boss anyway xD Regardless of not having a type advantage

The fact that Giovanni seems to be on Pasio by himself is evidence that could make this after the events of the Rainbow Rocket attack in USUM within the continuity, after the other Game Bosses have deserted him - though the way Pokémon Masters defies the laws of Time and Space itself likely makes the point moot. And the fact that he seems to be the only iteration of himself that wasn't stopped by a 10-year-old child when he initially took over means that he's going to start getting more destructive as time goes on if he starts losing now...

I think that the Dark Pokemon worlds are one's where the protagonist and rivals join the evil team and everything they do stays the same apart from tings to do with the Evil Team's instead helping them but for gen 3 Maxine's world is the same but Archie's just gone an so's Team Aqua, same for Archie but it' Maxine gone instead

But i do like the idea of characters coming from different continuities so they could actually add characters from the anime and manga too and say they’re from other universes.

Another thing to think about, is whats going on in the world's with these characters missing. Maybe the gyms have someone fill in, but what happens when champions come up missing? You just have another tournament?. Or protags... did RR gio win, because his Red was transported somewhere else? Im also wondering if team break introduces BREAK pokemon into the story.

I originally thought break was going to be an equivalent to megas, in a 'non mega' universe of gen 6. But its almost like it was setting up the ultra wormholes idea, and maybe this masters universe. I'll be interested to see if Anabel doesnt make it into masters, because she fell into Alolah, on the way to masters tournament...
I skipped ultra sun/moon because of how bored I was in moon, I did get back into the games with shield, but rainbow rocket sounds like a lame attempt at keeping nostalgia for a team that should be long dead. Team rocket was just a criminal syndicate, its about as interesting as the defias brotherhood from World of Warcraft. If team rocket won the worst outcome would be a capitalist-cyberpunk dystopia ruled by a cabal, why would Giovani even trust these other evil leaders who would probably double-cross him. The most interesting team is probably team Galactic with them literally trying to rewrite time and space, if anyone would create a successful multiverse its them. I will list what would happen if the team won below: Rocket: Capitalist Dystopia ran by a Cabal Magma/Aqua: Ruined Planet sending the human race back to the stone age Galactic: Creation of a paradox or successful pocket dimension. One would mean ruination of the universe, other would mean the true “rainbowrocket” or an equivalent. Plasma: Totalitarian Dystopia where only team plasma have pokemon and common peasants are told that pokemon are dangerous things, towns and cities would be walled from nature separating people from the wilds. Flare: Basically the world would become like fallout, all life would be removed besides the bunker which housed the team. Aether Paradise: I never played far into the games. I guess it would just mean luminse would be consumed by the ultrabeast and the foundation would go about its business or fizzle out. The tapus are still around and can save the region from the ultrabeast invasions. Rose Foundations: Galar region would be a very hostile place, a mass exodus of people would leave to other regions, and Rose would either flee or go mad without his perfect society.

Giovanni isn’t some BIG villain with a plan which will ruin everyone’s life. In fact apart from Jessie, James and alternate realities he stays in Kanto.

Another thing to think about, is whats going on in the world's with these characters missing. Maybe the gyms have someone fill in, but what happens when champions come up missing? You just have another tournament?. Or protags... did RR gio win, because his Red was transported somewhere else? Im also wondering if team break introduces BREAK pokemon into the story.

@@BirdKeeperToby So, the more I think about it, the break story, on the card packs of breakthrough and breakpoint, talk about 2 world's connecting. I originally thought break was going to be an equivalent to megas, in a 'non mega' universe of gen 6. But its almost like it was setting up the ultra wormholes idea, and maybe this masters universe. I'll be interested to see if Anabel doesnt make it into masters, because she fell into Alolah, on the way to masters tournament...
I skipped ultra sun/moon because of how bored I was in moon, I did get back into the games with shield, but rainbow rocket sounds like a lame attempt at keeping nostalgia for a team that should be long dead. Team rocket was just a criminal syndicate, its about as interesting as the defias brotherhood from World of Warcraft. If team rocket won the worst outcome would be a capitalist-cyberpunk dystopia ruled by a cabal, why would Giovani even trust these other evil leaders who would probably double-cross him. The most interesting team is probably team Galactic with them literally trying to rewrite time and space, if anyone would create a successful multiverse its them. I will list what would happen if the team won below:
Rocket: Capitalist Dystopia ran by a Cabal
Magma/Aqua: Ruined Planet sending the human race back to the stone age
Galactic: Creation of a paradox or successful pocket dimension. One would mean ruination of the universe, other would mean the true “rainbowrocket” or an equivalent.
Plasma: Totalitarian Dystopia where only team plasma have pokemon and common peasants are told that pokemon are dangerous things, towns and cities would be walled from nature separating people from the wilds.
Flare: Basically the world would become like fallout, all life would be removed besides the bunker which housed the team.
Aether Paradise: I never played far into the games. I guess it would just mean luminse would be consumed by the ultrabeast and the foundation would go about its business or fizzle out. The tapus are still around and can save the region from the ultrabeast invasions.
Rose Foundations: Galar region would be a very hostile place, a mass exodus of people would leave to other regions, and Rose would either flee or go mad without his perfect society.

...also,Toby pls, ghost isn't strong against mewtwo in this game, only 1 type weakness. People are actually coming with brycen to haze, Olivia to tackle lunatone then mewtwo, and Brendan for solrock then mewtwo.
Dark, bug, and ghost types? Only dark types are super effective against Meetwo in Pokémon Masters.
