Dynamax energy and Infinity energy are almost definitely the same, but I've wondered since the beginning if they are also connected to Ultra Space. The dens found in the Wild Area are very similar to what Alola calls Ultra Wormholes. The dens themselves are different, but the interiors are similar to some areas of Ultra Space. Also, in the Crown Tundra DLC, we see trainers go deeper into dens to find legendary pokemon, similar to how the player can find legendary pokemon by going deep into Ultra Space in USUM. Is it possible that Ultra Space is the source of all Infinity/Dynamax energy, and Eternatus is an Ultra Beast like others have theorized? It wouldn't be the first time a powerful Ultra Beast has accidentally found itself in the main pokemon world.
I mean knights weren't exclusive to england they were in france and other parts of europe and he speaks in a medieval tone but that isnt necessarily Shakespearean or old english, that's just the english localisation of his dialogue. I believe the only foreign line in the og japanese is "En Garde" which is french so only reaffirms this. And Kalos is based off of France so it's safe to assume he's a french knight.
I’m not sure if this is worth noting but AZ’s team that you battle in x and y can all be found in a wild area location with giant in the name (sygilyth and torkoal are in giants cap and golett can be found on giant’s seat) and if you didn’t notice AZ is a giant
Just decided to expand on this... perhaps 3000 years ago AZ was one of galar’s rulers. Junichi Masada stated that he got his height from infinity energy, perhaps he used infinity/dynamax energy to rule over galar from the wild area and became known as “the giant” due to the height it gave him. It is possible that he was overthrown at some point and this is why his floette was taken from him in the first place. It is also possible that swordbert and shielbert could be his decendants as they were once royalty. This would also link him to zamazenta and zacian and therefore based on your theory the relic crown. Perhaps he had a brother who overthrew him and swordbert and shielbert are his descendants which would explain the murals the player helps sonia research and why some of them only depict one hero (which was never really explained). As well as this, the abyssal ruins where the relic crown is found also has links to arceus. This finally gives a link to your theory about eternatus and arceus since if the relic crown links the crown tundra as well as AZ, zacian and zamazenta I don’t see why it can’t also be related to eternatus meaning that if your theory about arceus and eternatus is correct we can now link that all the way to Unova. Also, the relic crown having origins in galar and ending up in unova makes sense as America was conquered by England.
Reshiram and Zekrom are based on Nuclear energy, I wonder if they split 3,000 years ago, thus a huge release of Infinity energy was released from them into the world. It’s possible the Original Dragon was to battle against Eternatus and each had the same or different Energies. There are statues of Reshiram and Zekrom in the palace in Kalos, representative of where the king lived 300 years prior. It’s possible that the kings would commonly travel from region to region and maybe it was in Kalos where the dragon split. Kyurem retreated back to Unova while the Kings roamed the world.
Toby I love this theory! I also love Almighty Arceus' theory so far. I must say though that it is highly possible that the Galrian Hero Kings were the same as the brothers in Unova. Now, them being descendants of the Kings of Galar makes more sense. But here you have 2 King Brothers who just lost their most trusted & strongest Pokémon, now resting in the Slumbering Weald. As well as a land ravaged by the Aftermath of the Darkest Day. It is possible that they colonized the lands of the New World of Unova in hopes of gaining new lands for the people of Galar... And possibly power... They eventually got The Original Dragon, which they were definitely worthy to train but ended up fighting over the truth and ideals of their land, people and power, and y'know...Bob's your uncle. Toby you are definitely on to something and I love it! Stuff like this just make me adore the World of Pokémon. ... Also, Throwing in that Bob and Bach, the famous chefs from Galar, are descended from royal blood and their related, like Sordward and Sheilbert. And this ongoing brother thing is hereditary like Nurse Joy.
@@Axoleah well, I suppose, but why would it make sense to think of it like that, knowing it's supposed to be a 5 pronged crown with the prongs are identical and evenly distributed in a perfect circle? If 2 things have a similar shape from certain angles, that shouldn't count as it looking the same. I think Toby has compared other things in the past where I had the same problem, but I don't remember what it was XD
Is that a GS ball... or just a yellow colored Pokeball??? Probably not that hard to customize for people. And Metallic and Gold are a very normal pair of armor colors.. if you think about it.... also, we can't fully trust the NPC, and it's also called the "Gold Silver ball"
3000 years ago was also when the shadow games began in Egypt in the Japanese version of Yugioh. Pokémon are the Duel Monsters that escaped the cards only to be trapped in pokeballs
I always thought that Dynamax energy is not exactly infinity energy, but it is energy tinted by Eternatus after possibly being struck by the ultimate weapon and as it was overflowing with that energy it expelled it all over the galar region and that’s why Dynamax is only in galar. As for the Gigantamax melmetal I think Eternatus wasn’t fully in control of its newly found power and some parts of the Pokémon world received Dynamax energy temporary by Eternatus eterna beam. I say temporary as the energy ran out with an absence of a constant supply of Dynamax energy from Eternatus. The egg of Eternatus my disprove this but is it actually an egg or is it a cocoon that it made to heal itself from the battle with the two heroes. So the Gigantamax melmetal was struck by one of Eternatus attacks as it was mentioned that a ridiculous amount of Dynamax energy is in it. (Extends in replies)
Also to point Mega evolution is very different from regular Dynamax. Mega changes the Pokémon’s form and improve the effectiveness of the most prominent features or even grants new ones. It also causes changes to the mental state or even creates problems. Dynamax on the other hand just a increases the size of the Pokémon and at this moment there is no harmful side effects. Gigantamax does change the form of the Pokémon, BUT most of them are even more helpful when Gigantamaxed. GMax Machamp, Coalossal, and possibly lapras comes to mind. GMax Pokémon with an already established mega also have similarities between them. GMax Gengar has some of its body in another dimension or the afterlife, GMax charizard has the flames coming out of the side of the mouth (only one though). I also want to point out GMax butterfree, it just straight up looks like a mega. It’s the counterpart to Beedrill and compare do each other they look like they can be categorized in the same section either GMax or mega (this is in my opinion so if it doesn’t fit feel happy to ignore this sentence). Gigantamax is the product of even more Dynamax energy in a Pokémon to give it a new form. The more Dynamax energy in a Pokémon the more the energy is untainted and is closer to infinity energy which can grant the new forms. Gigantamax is just a middle ground between the two phenomena caused by similar energies.
It could also be argued that Melmetal would have been the one who gave the rusty sword and the rusty shield to Zamazenta and Zacian. And if melmetal also created the rusty crown it could have a similar effect on Reshiram and Zekrom. I forgot, very interesting theory by the way.
What a coincidence! Just today, I made a theory about Melmetal's origin. It changes the location of Galar in the Pokémon world quite a bit as well as involving multiple regions at once particularly the Isle of armour( think of battle zone/sevil islands) sub region.
actually melmetal and gigantamax melmetal are likely based on greek mythology about cyclops and a metal giant made by zeus as a prototype of humans, just a reminder
But, uuuhhh, why would a flower wielding little girl Pokémon go to war? Like, there are other fairy types you can use in a war. Like the warrior and healer gardevoir, or the magnificent sylveon. Like, why floette? It’s not even fully evolved. It would’ve made more sense if it were florgess, but no.
The theory is that the dynamax energy is a more unstable version of the same power that came from the ultimate weapon. Mega stones being condensed contained balls of that same energy
@@PatGencarelli Ok so then why is there no Mega Evolutions? Im pretty sure the universe that Sword and Shield are in is different then the one where the weapon was fired. Otherwise there would be Mega Evolutions which there is not.
@@alucard8433 I mean why aren't there Pokémon Ranger bases in every region? I mean Rangers do exist in the main series, as trainers you battle, so why isn't that in every game? Probably because the creators didn't feel like adding that to the game. Maybe the region just doesn't have a lot of mega evolutions or it just wasn't shown in the game. Pokémon isn't 100% consistent after all, it picks and chooses depending on the game. And yes, I know Pokémon Rangers are spinoff and stuff so shouldn't be *expected* to be included, but as I said Rangers ARE canon to the main games and it doesn't make sense to not have a Rangers team in each region and town, and yet.
Concept idea for future games, they make a game 3,000 years ago where you change history. Then they release games starting from red and green, but the story is very different
In Pokemon's final episodes, Tapu Koko's legendary Z Move was a large yellow man similar to TALOS!!! Maybe Tapu Koko was training Ash against this giant humanoid creature before he encounters it? Also the episode shows Lily putting the soul heart back into Magearna, the first mechanic pokemon? Something tells me that this is beyond Gigantamax Melmetal but actually another unrevealed Gigantamax Pokemon that Ash might fight in the Galar region. Also i think that Lucario might also be play a large role with Ash. Remember the movie, Lucario and the Mystery of Mew, where Ash meets Riolu whereas in the anime Go is on a mission to find Mew and Ash might rejoin with his Riolu/Lucario. So i think that this Aura and Soul Heart is going to be a big aspect near the middle and end of the Galar region. Yes, this Lucario and his trainer Aaron also encounter the same mystery 3000 years ago. Something really big happened 3000 years ago... Something also tells that this movie is also related to the Galar region. FUN FACT: Aaron used his aura along with Lucario to save the Time Flower. So the ultimate theory is that the Pokemon aura is what makes Mew so powerful and also what controls the PokeBalls and also the 3000 year war that made this aura possible. Besides, one of my other major theories is that Giovanni is Ash's dad and Ash's mom does not want him to know it, which is why he sends Team Rocket to fight Ash so that he can develop his skill in battling.
On AZ's war cutscene in Gen VI, we can see AZ's Floette, Honedge, Gyarados, Solrock, Lunatone, Salamence, Talonflame, Steelix, Rhyperior, Golurk fighting on one side (presumably Kalos') and Noivern , Magnemite, Magneton, Weavile, Abomasnow, Bisharp and Aggron fighting on the other side of the war. All of these, from both sides, are on the Kalos dex, of course. And from the other side of the war, only Magnemite, Magneton and Aggron are not on the Galar dex. But Magnemite and Magneton are already confirmed to be included on Sword/Shield's expansion, leaving only Aggron still to be confirmed to be found in Galar.
In addition to the Relic Crown and other Relic items, perhaps Meltan and Melmetal forged the Rusted Sword of Zacian, the Rusted Shield of Zamazenta, as well as the GS Ball. Perhaps these Steel-type Pokémon are the Greatest Smiths of the GS Ball.
this 3000 years ago mark could also be a time in actual history with French revolution (Kalos), English civil war (galar) and the American civil war or the American revolution (unova). The relic crown could be the old crown of the king that used to rule unova and when unova became its own reigion, the crown became a relic. The infinity energy / dynamax energy theory could also be the 100years war between England and France. These are just some connections I found, they might work or not. Also I love these theories birdkeepertoby and Almighty Arcues!!
Did you and pdwinnal fall out? Havent seen a collab for a long time between you guys abd hes not on your like channels part where you associate with other channels Also awesome video
I think the elite four’s armour colour and Meltan’s colour being similar is just a coincidence. After all, their armour is just the colour of a stereotypical suit of armour. This is a really interesting theory, I might look into some of the lore and see if there is much evidence supporting this, and if I can expand on this.
always thought the "Headless men" of the tour guide in XY were quagsire since you can find them on the route in hoards and their silhouettes look similar to headless human figure
first of all the crown has both the wrong color and shape to be zacian's. then that is not the gs ball the dude is holding its just a yellow poke ball like the green one from the anime, cuz i dont see gs on the ball at all and it probably is just a coincidence that his armor has the same color as meltan. and dynamax energy uses the galar particles to function wich are only found in... you guessed it galar, if not we shouldve heard someone in kalos mention something aboit dynamax or atleast some mysteries about pokemon that were giant like some kind of giant pikachu or magikarp or phantump or whatever, because they could also be exposed to dynamax energy and correct me if i am wrong but i am pretty sure there is nu such rumor. if there really is some kind of tale about a giant pokemon i can come up with multiple exlenations for that, like this one (a bit farfetch'd maybe but kinda maybe possible?) i live in the country next to france, belgium and we have some story about a giant that was made up by some drunk guy that saw a crane, or it could simply be folklore or some nonexistent tale like litirally the whole bible. (sorry for making such a large comment lol)
I feel a lot of these connections are just coincedence or a number of things that have been designed off the same thing. Eg Zacian having a crown shaped just to be linked to kings... not necessarily the actual crown relic. Similar stuff with the armour set
I just kind of figured that the energy from AZ's ultimate weapon was the thing that attracted Eternatus to earth. When it was descending to earth it could have gigantimaxed a few pokemon in other regions as it made its way to Galar.
As awesome as all these theories are, the problem at the end of the day is that Pokemon never goes all in on any of their teases and nods to other games/generations. The theories are always way better than what we actually get at the end of the day.
Does Reshiram and Zekrom come into this story? Remember how the princes of ideal and truth started a war that made the "dragon energy" unstable destroying the land? Could this dragon energy be the remnants of the infinity energy that was shot into Unova?
I'm not sure if the theory that Infinity Energy and Dynamax Energy are the same thing is quite right. Like, I don't think they're completely seperate or anything, but my reading of it is they're similar in a similar fashion to AC and DC electricity, although not quite the same I think the two energies are two ways of harnessing some Pokeworld element, similar to Ether in the Xenoblade franchise, where if it's harnessed in one way, such as mega evolution, it becomes a more positively charged source, Infinity Energy, but if it's harnessed in a different way, ie wishing stars/dynamax, it's more of a negative charge to it, which due to conflict with the other forms of the energy, cause you to get pushed out of dens and limit the turn count and such
The Yellow ball he's holding imo isn't a GS ball, it has no GS markings and is a lighter shade of yellow, where the GS is quite a bit darker. Definitely resembles the Park ball more. Or just some random ball we haven't seen yet. lol I'd definitely like to see more from Ancient Pokémon times though. 😀
I feel like Gigantamax energy is most likely corrupted infinity energy that overloads the pokemon forcing them to become giant rather than just infinity energy
Melmetal is first seen in alola/Hawaii which is very far from Galar/England in the anime I think AZ has been to alola before which could be where he was inspired for the shape of the weapon because the ultra beast celesteal looks a lot like the weapon
I really don't know about infinity energy and dynamax energy being the same. I think they're definitely connected, but the fact that they are both named differently, and that Sonia is able to create a dynamax energy detector implies they're different enough to not be considered the same.
You should do a theory about the "pokèrus" virus in Pokemon Sword & Shield, 2 of my Pokemon have it & it's something new Pokemon games haven't included.

This theory fit together so perfectly.🤩
GS ball celebi in it, in the manga. It was made by Pryce
On AZ's war cutscene in Gen VI, we can see AZ's Floette, Honedge, Gyarados, Solrock, Lunatone, Salamence, Talonflame, Steelix, Rhyperior, Golurk fighting on one side (presumably Kalos') and Noivern
, Magnemite, Magneton, Weavile, Abomasnow, Bisharp and Aggron fighting on the other side of the war.

Do you walk
Good work on this theory you both and I must say that they all do add up.
Meltang looks adorable
Did you and pdwinnal fall out? Havent seen a collab for a long time between you guys abd hes not on your like channels part where you associate with other channels
Also awesome video
Never thought the faceless men "scary" house story would lead to anything😂
I dig this theory 😎
My theory is that Pokémon conquest was 3000 years ago? 🤔
I think the elite four’s armour colour and Meltan’s colour being similar is just a coincidence. After all, their armour is just the colour of a stereotypical suit of armour. This is a really interesting theory, I might look into some of the lore and see if there is much evidence supporting this, and if I can expand on this.
pokemon youtubers this week
*everyone shaking melmetal*
*WHAT ARE YOU, WHAT ARE YOU!!!*
I think it might be greece
What i learnt here is that melmetal can gigantamax
always thought the "Headless men" of the tour guide in XY were quagsire since you can find them on the route in hoards and their silhouettes look similar to headless human figure
"All follow Arceus"
Hmmmm.. >>
@Bird Keeper Toby do you think a member of Kurt's family is in the dlc and that is why we have the aproict balls in SWSH?
I always thought the knight guy was holding a park ball… Since they were yellow at one point.
first of all the crown has both the wrong color and shape to be zacian's.
then that is not the gs ball the dude is holding its just a yellow poke ball like the green one from the anime, cuz i dont see gs on the ball at all and it probably is just a coincidence that his armor has the same color as meltan.
and dynamax energy uses the galar particles to function wich are only found in... you guessed it galar, if not we shouldve heard someone in kalos mention something aboit dynamax or atleast some mysteries about pokemon that were giant like some kind of giant pikachu or magikarp or phantump or whatever, because they could also be exposed to dynamax energy and correct me if i am wrong but i am pretty sure there is nu such rumor. if there really is some kind of tale about a giant pokemon i can come up with multiple exlenations for that, like this one (a bit farfetch'd maybe but kinda maybe possible?) i live in the country next to france, belgium and we have some story about a giant that was made up by some drunk guy that saw a crane, or it could simply be folklore or some nonexistent tale like litirally the whole bible. (sorry for making such a large comment lol)
Also, ORAS cites the battle between Groudon and Kyogre as being 3000 years prior to the games, and even implies AZ was there at the time
But Toby if the ultimate weapon fired into galar wouldn’t galar be very deselect and abandoned and uninhabited able
It was 3000 years ago and as it happens there is a whole area, the wild area that has destroyed structures in it.
Bird Keeper Toby oh thank u I didn’t realize that thank u
Interesting that Commander Kamados armor is the same style as Wikstrom
One of the very best new theories
I feel a lot of these connections are just coincedence or a number of things that have been designed off the same thing. Eg Zacian having a crown shaped just to be linked to kings... not necessarily the actual crown relic. Similar stuff with the armour set
I just kind of figured that the energy from AZ's ultimate weapon was the thing that attracted Eternatus to earth. When it was descending to earth it could have gigantimaxed a few pokemon in other regions as it made its way to Galar.
It was already on earth at that time
Eternatus came to earth 20,000 years ago
As awesome as all these theories are, the problem at the end of the day is that Pokemon never goes all in on any of their teases and nods to other games/generations. The theories are always way better than what we actually get at the end of the day.
I really like this theory, but I personally like the theory that melmetal is supposed to hint at a Greece inspired region
It's from "Other"
But is there anything that connects Melmetal to the crown? They hinted at it, but didn't seem to provide any direct connections.
I think they mean roughly 3000 years ago and not exactly
Hey Toby! I'm buying the Magical Species Tree of Life Poster! You know how long time it might take to recieve it after buying it nowadays? :D
I'm not 100% sure but I think they are still shipping as usual
@@BirdKeeperToby alriiight!
Just wanted to say happy birthday Toby, it's also my birthday today
Does Reshiram and Zekrom come into this story? Remember how the princes of ideal and truth started a war that made the "dragon energy" unstable destroying the land? Could this dragon energy be the remnants of the infinity energy that was shot into Unova?
I'm not sure if the theory that Infinity Energy and Dynamax Energy are the same thing is quite right.
Like, I don't think they're completely seperate or anything, but my reading of it is they're similar in a similar fashion to AC and DC electricity, although not quite the same
I think the two energies are two ways of harnessing some Pokeworld element, similar to Ether in the Xenoblade franchise, where if it's harnessed in one way, such as mega evolution, it becomes a more positively charged source, Infinity Energy, but if it's harnessed in a different way, ie wishing stars/dynamax, it's more of a negative charge to it, which due to conflict with the other forms of the energy, cause you to get pushed out of dens and limit the turn count and such
Also, france and engand have a history of war - it would make sense if the ancient kalosian war was with galar.
Whaaa, this is huge!
The Yellow ball he's holding imo isn't a GS ball, it has no GS markings and is a lighter shade of yellow, where the GS is quite a bit darker.
Definitely resembles the Park ball more.
Or just some random ball we haven't seen yet. lol
I'd definitely like to see more from Ancient Pokémon times though. 😀
I've never had a meltan or melmetal. That aside this is an interesting theory
I've got a spear meltan :>
I am curious how the company makes their lore, is it more planned or more go with the flow
I feel like Gigantamax energy is most likely corrupted infinity energy that overloads the pokemon forcing them to become giant rather than just infinity energy
Great Smiths....
Knights Templar?
Freemasons?
The faceless horde was zygard in its 50% form
Maybe That is what Lt. Surge Talks about
Melmetal is first seen in alola/Hawaii which is very far from Galar/England in the anime
I think AZ has been to alola before which could be where he was inspired for the shape of the weapon because the ultra beast celesteal looks a lot like the weapon
Early.....but definitely not the last 🤔🤯
Heyyyy pesky bird

Is mega & gigantmax one in the same energy?
I really don't know about infinity energy and dynamax energy being the same. I think they're definitely connected, but the fact that they are both named differently, and that Sonia is able to create a dynamax energy detector implies they're different enough to not be considered the same.
What was that cyclopian legend in Kalos?
An interesting idea but that statue looks nothing like metal it melmetal to me :o
I really hope Calyrex let's us see what happened 3,000 years ago!
Maybe gamefreak just loves you 3000.
You should do a theory about the "pokèrus" virus in Pokemon Sword & Shield, 2 of my Pokemon have it & it's something new Pokemon games haven't included.
Pokérus has been a thing for a very long time.
sorry to be an almighty pain, but Shakespeare spoke early middle English (i think) while old English is the freaky half norse stuff in Beowulf
