I have a 20 F250 with a Carli Commuter set up with all the stuff except rear deavers. We Love it, rides way better than any other set up I have had from Pure, Icon or BDS. Im thinking..just maybe..of getting a Gmc 2500 with this set up. Can you tell me honestly if this rides the same, better or do you recommend another set up for the best ride on the GM trucks. Thanks and where are you located.

I just bought this kit for my 2024 Denali 2500 and waiting for it to come in.
I was wondering if I put a 1” block in the back, if the Elka shocks that come with the kit will support the additional 1” in height in the rear?
Good idea/bad idea for the 1” block in the back?

What did you end up doing with the 1" block? I have a 2" difference front to back right now. I ordered this kit and want my final setup to be level. I'm guessing a 1" block is necessary.

i noticed u cut out the factory bumpstop, i thought the cognito arms resolved the issue with the bumpstop? if you cut the bumpstop do u really need the cognito arms?

​@@isaacfernandez4629 so found out since this that the cognito and kryptonite upper arm has a different angle at the ball joint that put the ball joint at the correct angle with the leveled ride height.

Why would I go with a leveling kit vs a 4" lift kit from Cognito on the same truck? I'm not necessarily looking for too much height, want to run 35's with standard offset, just don't want any rubbing, shortcuts or regrets down the road, want it done right? Love your videos too!.... 😎

no permanent modification on the 3" kit. 4" you need to cut the crossmember frame ears off and bump stops off aka no going back. 35s will easily fit with the correct offset on a 3" setup. 18x9 +1 to +18. 4" kits drive great but would be overkill for 35s unless going negative offset.

@RJ-mq9th , thanks for the reply, is there a ride quality different between leveling and lift kits, using the Elka shocks on both? I read a post on another video that eluded to the leveling kit as not being the "correct" way to lift it and that the ride quality wasn't there compared to the lift kit. I just want to make sure the ride is there and that there will be no mechanical or maintenance issues going with the leveling kit down the road. Can the lift kit be done, but only "lift" the truck 3-3.5"? Again, I don't need/want the extra height, especially running 35's, but I don't want the rub or cutting either? Thoughts?

@@checkmatearmament2281 the 3" kit is adjustable 2-3" we usually set at 2" when not using a rear block or leaf upgrade. the 4" kit is adjustable from 3-6" depending on if factory or aftermarket keys. the 4" lift fixes all the sway bar, CV angles to factory angles. With the kit pictured, the ride and durability of the truck will be better than stock, hope that helps.

A proper 4 inch Lift kit is a whole new ball game and permanent. Cutting up the cross member to lower the front dif, is a big deal.
