@@dpie4859still only has the range of a model 3 long range 😅 costs 3 to 6 times more ;-) clear it is a porsche but the rest sucks. It charges so fast because the battery is bigger… i love porsche but the first taycan isnt great, happy i sold mine 4 month later because no a days it is 60% less worth
Probably high degradation with 2C charging at 75%. But it's good that the owner is given the option of fast or economical (Porsche, Mercedes etc. can limit the charge power. In the case of Mercedes down to 100kW)

Perhaps "Auxillary Heater when unlocked" option is active and that is why the battery cooling stops when the car is unlocked.

@@danielstefanovic2604 because the reveiew he has done is with the 80 and the 85 has slightly larger battery and newer more efficient motor plus different software etc. All small changes but the add up.
Also it would be interesting to see the difference between the VW, Audi and skoda vehicles even with their similarities
Love this test 👍 what a great improvement! I would like for you to talk to vw about their batteries and where all the energy goes…. I bought the Skoda enyaq coupe rs last fall and when I received it, it had 74750wh available energy and now after 15000km it’s down to 69250wh, I called Skoda services and they recommended me to charge 100% every day for a couple of weeks to see if it gets more energy…..

For the door open cooling off problem try educing the temperature setting as low as possible before you leave and turn off the hvac. Maybe that'll keep it from strt to condition the cabin on door open.

it differs from country to country. Ive tried hot dogs in latvia and they were quite mediocre, and than again in Lithuania they were great. Hope that Germany will have better luck

Yes its painful. I do the same thing from time to time and it makes no sense why it happens. And sometimes, I bite the same spot 4 or 5 times. lol.
UK we still have some of that concrete road surface, but USA is still really really common ( at least it doesn't melt in the heat !)

I moved permanently to Sweden in 1987, and I think the discussion was quite intense at those times. But maybe the discussions were more intense short afterwards than before the merger.

Been a Q4 50 e-tron quattro owner for almost a year now. Excellent car overall.
In Denmark you can get klorhexidin mouthwash at apoteket, maybe you have something similar in Norway. Doesnt taste great, but really help the mouth wound to not get as infected and therefore way way les painfull. combine with multivitamin and extra vitamin C, can get them down from lasting a week to a couple of days.
Björn look at time 7:12 you can see the button to press on the blinker stalk for active lane assist (autosteer)
I'm also convinced the car has lane assist, altough I don't understand why this is such a topic for Björn. Am I the only one who does not want lane-assist/autosteer? I even choose BMW iX1 instead of Enyaq for next car, because you can not permanently switch of lane assist in the Skoda. You have to hold your steering wheel anyway, so I never saw the point of having this feature.
Nope, this car doesn't have it. Trust me. It's quite stripped down. I will test fully loaded Q4 later.
@@bjornnyland did you look at the button on the Blinker stalk or not? Because you have the button for active lane assist and when the car doesn't have the option the button is not there

The car will start climate 5 minutes when you lock it up. But it’s a setting you can turn off Björn
Amazing that it can keep good temperature in battery when driving or your speed is very high, because Ioniq5 battery cools very quickly or the heat savages is to high.

Open question here, do most northern Europeans think about wind speed in m/sec? Or is it just Bjorn? One of the things I love about Bjorn’s channel is his fluent use of numbers. He speaks my language; I’m often dumbfounded that most people don’t know how big a 130 litre bin is, for example.
Yes, in the Nordic countries the vind speed measured is m/sec.
But in the weather forecasts they use different words in Sweden and Norway. I know some of the words, but I don't know the intervals they represent even though I have lived 35 years in Sweden!

@@e-redj well that is unfortunate. We ordered the car back in 2021 and received it in 09.2023. a few weeks later and it would have been the new rear motor
@@ChouduSieben... and if you wait for another 6-8 months, there will be other changes/improvements. The development goes in some way quite fast. Even price cuts are signs of improvements.

@@kr8882 Not in North America. Our 2024 are 2023.5 with old motors and software with no battery preconditioning… this looks like the new software with battery preconditioning

It’s crazy that traditional automakers still haven’t understood that they should focus on EFFICIENCY at high speed and cold weather!
Yeah, not sure how 30 kWh/100km is "efficient" in 2024 when other cars in similar size did this 8 years earlier with 19 kWh/100km or so. Double the battery size and double the fast charging speed it meaningless when the newer cars also have almost double the energy consumption.
Seems like you don't follow the market closely. The Mercedes-Benz CLA will be revealed at the end of this year and will be the most efficient EV on the market.
So 132% of the consumption of a Model Y with the same time and conditions. For much less spacious car with worse interior materials etc. .
