Waylons growling backing Jmanns vocals and Jeffrey Nothings melodic singing is the greatest thing I will ever hear
he was underrated and tbh coulda carried MHD by himself if he didnt have that need for acceptance and acknowledge by the rest of the band for his contributions and drinking. they may have stayed tg and never started to drizzle down. waylon definitely brought MHD to more listeners

Same here! I saw them randomly at some show I think I went for another band, these guys killed it. I couldn't believe how good some of their songs were and that I had never heard of them. I think they have like 7 songs I really like, still listening to those songs to this day lol.

Mushroomhead in their prime before tragic downward spiral. Still a great band live and just saw em ealier this year with the current lineup, but THIS is mushroomhead at their best. Xlll is my favorite album, but the righteous & the butterfly is amazing with Jefferey Weylon and Jmann all on it together
I'll have to check out the butterfly one, I only ever listened to I think this album and a couple songs from m3 and 1 from superbuick. Never liked any thing else but I think I never checked out anything newer than that stuff so gonna go check that one out right now :)

This was prime mushroomhead. I wasn't a huge fan or anything, but there's like 7 songs these guys did that I just love, and I think these guys were on vocals for all of them. I heard they did a lot of shuffling of band members but this was the prime setup imo
Why is J-Mann's mic always so quiet?
Aphoticon It's his singing technique, he seals his throat as it were, kind of like when you choke on something and sings through that. The sound it makes isn't loud but it sounds sick. Don't try to do that without training though, it's very straining on the voice.

Their live shows are much better than in the past. Better quality and more interaction with the crowd. Scott is the best addition to the group and Steve as the other singer was a great choice. 🤷🏻♂️
