It makes me sad that there are Christians making comments on this video saying that we are somehow bad people for enjoying this game. As a Christian myself who owns this game and absolutely loves it, I assure everyone that liking this videogame does not mean you are a bad person. God is aware this is a bunch of code, and as long as you are not hurting yourself or anyone else in real life, he won't care what you play or what you watch. That being said, great playthrough!! 👍

I want to love this game so much, because there is so much about it thats good....but its just so short. And i am all for short games that do what they want to do well, but for both a dungeon crawling rogue like and a cult-farming village sim what i want is to really sink my teeth in.

So I have a theory about the reason behind the One Who Waits. The Old Faith is basically the sacrifice of any heretics but this goes against the laws of nature in a sense. Maybe the One Who Waits is corrupted by this Old Faith and that’s maybe why he’s the villain?
Christians who say this game is bad can go away and cry me awake of tears.
This game is amazing no matter what religion it relates to. If you fixate on religion too much, you miss amazing opportunities like playing this game.
Stop thinking that God is a harsh judge. You live what you REALLY want to live.

Animal crossing, dark souls, and the binding of Isaac has a baby and made this.
Let me explain the game in a Christian way so the Christians can be less angry at it. In the game you fight characters named after actual demons. By fighting them you defeat them and change their evil form and way of thinking to a good one, thus you are deleting the evil influence those demons had by fighting them in game ^^ You fight the bishops who are direct personification of the four horseman of apocalypse, thus you are defeating something ungodly and evil by fighting them. Now by that logic the game can be Christian enough for you. Believe me no child would commit any strange rituals by playing this game, no person loses their iman by playing this game. Also the pentagram wasn't always an evil symbol so in many cases the star is used to seal demons, not summon them. The bishops are also named after Pegan Gods, so you defeating them also means defeating the belief of there being more than one God. The upside down crosses aren't a bad symbol, because it's the cross of Saint Peter, who didn't want to be killed the same way Jesus was out of respect to Jesus. The secret boss is The one who waits, who lied to the lamb and come up with the idea of sacrifice, so isn't fighting him like fighting a false prophet?
Hey not sure why I am on this video, maybe it's to talk to you. I am a Christian (been one for the last 5 years). So, what I am going to tell you is how Christians see this game. We believe in a spiritual battle. So things are either of God or they arn't. The devil tries to make things that are damaging to someone as fun as possible (like drugs). he tries to make people accept things they otherwise wouldn't by making them fun, cute, addictive, so on. So when you see something like this, that's literally what it is. Making something very dark and very real, acceptable to people by making it cute. satanic cults are a real thing and this is what they actually do (summon demons, sacrifice people and basically worship the devil). It's not that Christians are out trying to judge people or make things not fun, it's that they are trying to save people from this crap that will ultimately hurt them.
demons can't be changed, they are entities of evil, they arn't human. They are what evil is. The only person who can cast out or defeat demons is Jesus (God). And it's not the demon that turns good, they can never be good, it's the human being that was possessed or influenced by the demon who Jesus saves, if that person trusts Jesus.
as for pentagrams it's to summon demons and always has been used for this. Upsidedown crosses means antichrist (enemy of Christ). The demons in the game who are named after real demons, are real demons and they influenced people to make this game to carry out their plan. As for the character being a lamb, it's the antichrist. Mocking Jesus (since Jesus is the Lamb of God). In fact the antichrist is going to come looking like a lamb but speaking like the devil (just like in the game.) And people are playing this game believing the devil that this game is good, when it's not.
I don't want you being targeted by demons like this, which is why I am here. demons are very real. Jesus loves you very much, please trust Him with your soul.

Because for all that I have heard every single thing that isn't a human or a good angel is seen as a demon by Christians. Does that mean that jinns who are seen as having free will and being able to chose between evil and good (just like humans do) are demons as well? Does the same count for spirits like the Samodivi and Domovoi who are believed to pray side by side with humans (in Christian slavic belief It's sad that the Domovoi hates it when humans worship other spirits and not God)? If God is all forgiving then why are the humans the only ones who recieve forgiveness? Do you see every game and movie that uses magic (for example a spell called glitter ball or a spell called fire ball) as evil and satanic as well, for example Harry potter and My little pony?
If the Devil wanted to really make an impact he wouldn't have made people create games. He would have masked himself as a saint. I'm learning about religions and this game doesn't make me want to worship nor like the devil and his evil spirits (demons). And if all the demons in the game are something that has to be defeated and is evil, then how is it bad if your mission is to defeat and reform them? If for example a movie and a game is about how evil demons are is it still demonic according to your belief?
As for the pentagram it was used to represent people's wellbeing and five perfect senses, it was even used by Christians once to represent something about Jesus's wounds. It was used by Solomon as well to bend the will of demons (even if the star of Solomon is with six points). It being turned upside down attracted evil spirits by a belief constructed after the European Renaissance. The five pointed star wasn't aways evil it was stolen by Satanists and occultists. So used by itself without the belief of wanting to attract demons, doesn't make it evil. It attracting humanised animals isn't that off.
The upside down cross was once used in churches because this symbol was Saint Peter's cross. That was later stolen by occultists and Satanists. The cross that has Jesus drawn on it will always be satanic if turned upside down. A regular cross turned upside down is just Saint Peter's cross. The intention that it's used matters too, if you see it as a satanic cross each time, then it will be a satanic one.
Not every person sees Jesus as God, some see him as a prophet of God, does that make those people disbelieves?
And shouldn't we as religious people care more about how people are ready to draw graffiti on churches and how my own country fails to fix the destroyed churches in it simply because the Свети Синод (the religious figures in my country who dictate where money goes and lead religious rules) get 80% of the money that is meant to help Christianity for themselves. People here can't even buy candles because it's too expensive for them. While atheists laugh at the faces of religious people. Those things are far more worrisome and anti Christian than that game. If a game destroys someone's iman this quickly them that person had a pretty weak iman to begin with.

When a predator wants it's prey it will use the juiciest bait it can get. Like video games. It looks innocent and fun but it's really not. Magic is used in video games. I used to be a HUGE gamer. That's all I ever did. I used to think magic is fake. Because they make it look cool in games, but in real life it's not cool at all. satanists use magic and spellcasting to deceive people. They use lies and known manipulation to decieve as many people as possible. It's a lot deeper than people think it is. In fact, the magic you see in games thinking it's fantasy is part of the spell. The spell over the entire world, the lie. Because the devil decieves the whole world. People thinking magic is fake was part of the spell to make people think it's fake. So ultimately people think the devil is fake, and his attacks on people they think are fake.
The devil hides what he is doing to not be found out.
The biggest lie the devil ever told is that he doesn't exist. He is a predator. Demons arn't human, they will always follow the devil. They literally choose to keep going against God and doing horrible things to human beings. They don't follow Jesus (love) and never will. Human beings are evil too (like..we arn't perfect), but we were made by God. We have morals. Yeah jjins are demons also, there are all kinds of demons. They are shapeshifters and have a whole army of them, and ranks. It's a spiritual battle.
They deceive people in every country. Lots of books talk about Jesus, but the way you know the truth is, you have to wonder what true love is. If evil exists, then there must be an ultimate form of love. Something human beings all seek for and want at some point.
And love is when Jesus died a horrible death to save us even though we are evil. That is love. A true parent would do that for their children. None of the other gods have done this. Just Jesus. You know it's true because God puts it in people's hearts.
Jesus died for you, he died for me, he died for everyone, and the devil HATES this. When you see games like this, you can literally see what he is doing, trying to make kids okay with satanic stuff.
As for harry potter, my little pony, it is the same spell. Making things that are self harming, look cool. Making things that really exist look fake or cool.
Magic has always existed and there is a reason why God told us not to engage ourselves in it, because then we end up deceived (its from the devil).
As for people forcing people to be christian in vicious ways that was the catholic church. Google image the popes audience hall it looks like a giant snake, and he is talking from the mouth of a snake! He is showing who he is.

Most people don't want to hear this because video games are fun, and it can be hard to see it like that. But if you really look at it, that's what it is. There is only truth and lies in the world, there is no grey area.
It's either truth and love, or it's lies and not love. Lastly video games, movies, often show the savior being some video game character, and not Jesus.
The devil hopes people won't think to call on Jesus in a time of need. Please call on Jesus, He loves us, and wants us to go home. He died for us. All you have to say is you know you are a sinner and want to be forgiven and you want Jesus to show you the truth. He will. He did for me and many other people. He won't leave you in the dark. Yo I’m a Christian this game looks awesome
I just got this. I'm 30 days in and have a cult of 10 level 3s and 4s in tents, with resurrection, follower sacrifice and cannibalism. My cult is basically self sufficient. Between new meat, I mean recruits, and rezzing anyone who dies of sicknes or old age, I'm pretty much already a God before the second area. I get soo much divine energy like 70 per every 2 minutes if I just sit at the idol, not even counting blessings or the rituals, and I got a 3×10 row berry farm a scarecrow to cover it and a couple of outhouses for the "fertilizer".
I don't even have to crusade except for bones because of my offering alter and my refinery. Only played for 6 hours so far and I'm loving it.

For me the art styles couldn't be more different. One is supposed to look soft and cuddly, have this effect of "cute things do murder"
And Hades is a very detailed game with sometimes complicated character designs that show the characters are gods and important heroes, not just... people.
