It’s crazy because some people really work like that. I’ve been in the food industry for over 10 years and I’ve seen some of the most disgusting workers and work places. It’s like some people really don’t care or love what they do. It’s just a job to them. I love cooking so that’s my passion I take pride in my work space and I make sure to practice food safety everyday it’s an important part of the job. Cleanliness is key.
This video reminds me of the Hospitality Course for which I have been to. (Certificate 1 Introduction to Hospitality Course) of the State of New South Wales, Australia. There are soo many things I have seen wrong. Supervision of new people in training is a must. I have seen soo many mistakes by the students in the Hospitality environment. It would be better for the Staff and teachers to warn them of cross contamination. I feel as though there must be a lot of bad chefs in the world and I hope they do not get away with such disrespect to peoples food. It’s that stupid I can not even understand the stupidity with these people even joining a course in the field of Hospitality yet they don’t even know how to clean themselves and wear the attire properly. I feel saddened for the people who have been exposed to contaminated food products, For I feel as though a lot of people are vulnerable and unknowingly eating contaminated food. It depends on the bacteria, viruses, pathogens, etc. Always learn about the requirements on the state and country you live in. And always understand the cause and effect of these vile horrible things happening in the hospitality industry. Do not be afraid to speak out to your manager or higher above authority. The reassurance of the business operations and cleanliness must not be withheld from people above, but must be reported for if not reported, your reputation and everyone else’s reputation will be affected, The business will be at risk, and the risk and harm of the contaminated foods will be much greater when people have already consumed the food matter. Always learn what you are dealing with. Please do not slack off...

1. she did not wash her hands when she got into the kitchen 2. she did not put her hair up 3. she sneezed into her gloves 4. touched raw chicken and onions right after 5. katie went to the restroom and did not wash her hands properly 5 ways to correct it 1. she was suppose to wash her hands before touching any of the food in the kitchen 2. she was suppose to but her hair up in a bun 3. she was not suppose to sneeze into her glove but when she did she did not change them out and put new ones on 4. after touching raw chicken you are suppose to wash your hands and change your gloves 5. after katie got out of the restroom she was suppose to wash her hands properly for at least 20 seconds
Note for the video creator... There's an error 5m18 into the video... The narrator says to wash 'upper arms' ... But the the actor washes her wrists. 'Upper arm' usually suggests above the elbow.

CDC rules, you leave the water running and use a clean towel to turn off the water after washing your hands. Complain to the CDC if you have a problem with their rules.
you must specifically leave the water running because you turned the tap on with dirty hands and don't want to touch it again while washing your hands, that defeats the purpose. Once through washing and drying hands you use the used paper towel to turn off the tap. Remember to not re-contaminate your hands by touching the tap after washing.
