Buckethead - Big D's Touch (cover)

My cover of the song Big D's Touch by Buckethead. Created the backing track myself. I liked how he used both electronic and acoustic drum sounds, and I tried to recreate that as closely as possible. Most of the drum samples I used came from the Battery 4 library, but the shaker sound I sampled from a certain very famous Joe Satriani tune. Also added in some of my own variations to the last chorus.

What’re the delay settings you used?

I used three different delay settings. Tempo is 70 BPM. For the intro, it's an eighth note delay, which is 429 ms, with about 2.5 repeats, mix about 20%. Switch to a 2nd delay when the drums come in; time is the same, but feedback and mix decreased a little bit. Then there is a 3rd setting for the break part, which is set to sixteenth notes (214 ms) and much higher mix, around 37%, with about 1.5 repeats.
