Hey guys, quick correction - a helper spring is a very low compression spring that keeps the normal shock engaged so it doesnt become unseated at full droop. A tender spring is a higher compression spring than a helper spring that acts as a softer spring rate than your normal shock, and that is what helps with a bumpy track. 👍
@StreetBandito I know growth is the goal, but I hope you guys know how awesome all this content is and enjoy your current successes. Everyone watching right now is entertained, learning new things, and inspired to build something of their own. Also, I'm super jealous of all these new cool parts 🤑
Helper springs have become a big thing in these last years. Keep seeing them more and more. Really nice package they sent you, all the good bits. Nice!
hey guys , from what I can see the brake disks are L&R specific. it seemed to me that there are mounted wrong ,the Left one was on the Right hand side and vise versa . have a look at the rotation , the fins in the disk need to push the air outwards and the grooves need to push the dust outwards also . I might be wrong difficult to see... All the best Vince,
I might be wrong but the two pick up points on the steering knuckle might be for quicker than oem steering but you are shortening your leverage arm so your steering might feel a bit heavier. But I am not as familiar with the datsun suspension. I do remember we used to shorten the steering knuckles on toyota racks back in the day to get quicker lock to lock steering for the poor man drift set up
The best way to lower a car is to use drop spindles rather than adjusting your springs to the lowest setting . That way you maintain your factory suspension geometry but have the ride height you're looking for .
I am a fan of the work you guys do..... but out of curiosity..... wouldn't it be better for the batteries to run through the middle of the car and behind the seats like a "T" ..... I mean, it would be better for weight distribution and it would protect the batteries from being punctured in case of a front end collision
@@StreetBandito making me want one lol. WHEN I win the lottery I'm just going to pull up with it and pay yall handsomely to put one of these kits on it.
All of the batteries at the nose of the car seem like a less than optimal idea to me on the basis of corner wights, traction, and polar inertia. Why was this chosen rather than at the firewall or behind the seats to even out weight distribution and polar inertia?
replace the springs after your'e able to weigh it. they sell the springs alone. nothing else is different since these are adjustable dampening. thats why he said he got stock spring rates. once he sees how it drives he can see how he wants to set it up from there.
Why are the batteries outside of both axles and not inbetween? If you go through all the effort, at least make a car that can rotate. Also what about the crash structure up front, when you crash your car, it will start burning immediately. Is there a reason you did this?
im probably so wrong for saying this. first time here. but the one time someone mentioned his wife this frequently turned out to have cheated on his wife just as frequently. talking about the "try guys" guy. other than that, chill video lol
To the ones that know a little about suspension parts and want to see just the installation or assembly, just skip to the 15:30 minutes, then you have 7 minutes of real job, and 5/6 minutes of unnecessary jokes and laughs.
Electric 240z what have you done? You destroyed a classic by putting a car destroying battery in it? Keep a new age fire extinguisher around for EVs, just trashy!

Love the upload schedule and length of the video 25-35min 🙃
No joke you guys are probably one of the best channels
Helper springs have become a big thing in these last years. Keep seeing them more and more. Really nice package they sent you, all the good bits. Nice!
Those GIANT brakes are beautiful!
The borat reference was spot-on
Teach that boy to tighten from the nut not the bolt! Lookin sick guys!
That fitment!!! :O And wow those components are so highend. You guys spared no expense on this build and it's gonna be the coolest ever!
Just commenting for the algorithm
Videos have been great. Thanks for the content dudes
Glad you like them! it’s our pleasure 🤙🏽
Glad to see car take awhile difference turn
Where did the carbon hood video go!!?!?!
Wow ... Okay ! Awesome job guys ! Excellent !

Was thinking the same
The cool thing about the blue accents is that it's kinda similar to how modern Nissan adds hints of blue on their EVs
those are the shallowest rotor hats ive ever seen on those front rotors. sick ass parts! just interesting how low those are for caliper clearance
I'm putting "Bury me like Thor" in my will.
Yes to the hammer shirt!
I would buy a Danger Hammer shirt.
It would be a sick off road look too if one wanted to go that route too.

Wicked rear camber
Hammer's shape is made out of the letters. That's always a cool design thing. Danger would be the hammer head and hammer would be the handle.
Tension-compression rods, not traction-control rods, but we still love you long time.
I would buy a danger hammer shirt.
time to find a designer lol. we need to do it.
Ох, сколько же такой набор стоит? 😊 Красота просто!
killed it , thank you. Keep up the good work.
Different colors now! I just finished my t3 build. D: lol
Its alive .. its alive .. ITS ALIVE!!!!!
Amazing, great job guys
Awesome stuff. Love the uploads
I think the rears need a little more camber!😂😂😂
The best way to lower a car is to use drop spindles rather than adjusting your springs to the lowest setting . That way you maintain your factory suspension geometry but have the ride height you're looking for .
came here to say the same thing. I think I too will go t3 drop spindles for my ae86 whenever I get around to rebuilding that car
love coming across other ae86 enjoyers on here lol@@joshuaszeto

The axles would interfere with the batteries. They run right behind the seats essentially
Remember kids, always play with your axles 😅😂
Hell yeah! This car is lookin sick! What are the chances that we get to see some underglow on this bad boy?
due to timing for sema, slim lol
Could you explain about the balance of the car, Iam no expert but it seems there alot of weight going to the front.
I keep hearing it as "Lega-Z" lol
Bruhhhhh u gonna have the 2 hardest z's in the world.
z mania loading lol
@@StreetBandito making me want one lol. WHEN I win the lottery I'm just going to pull up with it and pay yall handsomely to put one of these kits on it.
So. Good.
Thanks for another great video, fellas!
#CommentForTheAlgorithm
Ouch, all that weight in front of the front axle? This thing seems like it's gonna be a handful.
Killer name for the build would be Lega-z
Was this originally the k swapped carbon car?
Drop after drop let’s goo
my guy!!! yea we getting active lol
I think you're going to raise the coilers just a bit! ;-)
Those batteries ok in the front? 🤔
All of the batteries at the nose of the car seem like a less than optimal idea to me on the basis of corner wights, traction, and polar inertia. Why was this chosen rather than at the firewall or behind the seats to even out weight distribution and polar inertia?
Ah yes this is good in deed
Let's Gooooooooo!!!!!!
skaaaadooooooshhhhhh 🤙🏽. my guy!
@@StreetBandito My maaaaaiinnnn dameyyyyyy!!!!! 🤜🤛
Why the big brakes? I thought tesla uses regenerative braking...
That would be on the rear axle only. Brakes are needed still
Чого не зробили на двухрядному підшипнику?
Tim of Timmy Tim Tim
of tim’s timmadome
Yeahhhhh buddddyyyyyyyy
skeedoo deeeee 🤙🏽
How can you order a suspension without corner weighing the car first?
replace the springs after your'e able to weigh it. they sell the springs alone. nothing else is different since these are adjustable dampening. thats why he said he got stock spring rates. once he sees how it drives he can see how he wants to set it up from there.
Suspension things . . .
An entirely new and re-engineered Suspension.
Price on a car like this?

T3 is amazing compnay. I was going to go with all their ae86 mods before i sold the car.... T_T
do you have a new tattoo every episode??
timmy timm timm tatted tatted
How much does it cost to do a tesla swap?
🐐

“Guten Tag” means Good Day in German the joke is a play on that.
Tiny tim
It should be the Lega Z build
Day one of me petitioning to change the name of the car to the EZ
guten tight id the german torque spec
I'd call it the legaZ
Aah there it is 😊
That’s a lot of weight in-front of the front wheels.
The only German I know is the word for constipation: Farfrömpoopin
im probably so wrong for saying this. first time here. but the one time someone mentioned his wife this frequently turned out to have cheated on his wife just as frequently. talking about the "try guys" guy. other than that, chill video lol
First idc what anybody says
Definitely not enough grease

Here nice n early
welcome 🪄🎩
Guys
The car had a hard hit on the front right obviously
Fix the damn upper fender support
There’s a reproduction out there
Love ya but wth
You can buy a new supra for the price of all these sponsored parts.
Less talking, more working at the car please 😊
It’s German for virgin
every other word sounds like a question mark at the end of your sentence, too smarmy
