Your vlogs are the only ones i actually take time and watch every time you upload them-because they are so relatable and i think huge part of it is because they’re not super edited. Thank you for sharing your struggles and this way we know we’re not alone 🙂

We don’t care about the editing, we just enjoy them it is nice that Jackson is settling a little, keep going this time will pass🤣😂😂😂

Relax girl. You’re not doing anything wrong. This is what my doctor said to me when i was complaining that my LO doesn’t nap the whole 2 hours, sometimes more sometimes less etc. she said they’re babies not robots. They will have good days, bad days, super good days so just be patient and really whenever i see inconsistencies i remind myself of that

Here in Portugal, toodlers eat what their parents eat, and when we eat (at the same table). It feels so strange to me that you're making Riley special food and that she eats at different moments... :) For example, any portuguese toodler will eat vegetable soup for lunch (like most adults do), and then a tiny bit of whatever adults would eat: fish, meat, rice, potatoes, or whatever... + tiny bit of fruit.
Anyway, she's a cutie pie :) I have 2 boys, but I always hoped for a girl and yours looks like a little princess :)
And your baby boy looks like a handsome little guy :) (no more grumpy old men over there)
    Congrats on them both!

Your videos helped me so much. I'm a new mom again! I have 3 babies, oldest will be 17 in April, middle will be 13 in April, & my little is 16 days old. It had been so long since I went through pregnancy, birth, & having a newborn. So much has changed! Just wanted you to know how much your videos helped me! I watched a bunch during my pregnancy, & now during early days with a newborn ♥️

Yes PLEASE review the stroller!! I have baby number 2 due in July and have been debating between those exact two strollers but I just can’t stomach the price tag on the uppababy and the evenflo already comes with the infant seat! It just seems like the same for much less so excited to hear what you think.

I was also debating between the Vista and Evenflo, and I ultimately chose the Evenflo, too, because the price of the Vista is so absurd. I can replace it multiple times, and it would still be cheaper than the Vista! Also, I like the raw/less edited videos! 😊

Just breath and try not to worry too much about life once you are gone from your family💜 my son will be 5 in 2 weeks and hasn't napped since a bit before he turned 3. I gave up on naps completely and only had them on "BAD" days.. You got this! Xx

Oh and my son dropped his nap at 3 but it got rough hit or miss at the same time as Riley. A lot of days he wouldn’t nap. Sounds like she’s growing out of them. It was emotionally stressful for me bc I would leave him in his crib for quiet time but just felt guilty. And her story when you got her from nap time was hilarious!

Love how updated you keep us even though you have so much going on. You are such a great mama. My daughter would nap till she was a little over 2. But at the sisters house she napped till she was a little over 3. Once they decide they don’t want to nap any more it’s over. I would just let her stay in the crib and do what I need to, then take her out cause I felt bad to just hear her telling me “mommy get me out no sleepy 😆

I know I am a little late posting but I just wanted to say you're not doing anything wrong momma!! Babies that age don't really sleep through the night unless you're lucky.. You guys will get a routine down eventually! I swear the sleep industry puts so much pressure on us mom's to have an infant sleep through the night just so you while buy alllll the gadgets! A solid sleep routine is what helped us and you can even do a maniture version of your routine for naps to help him as well! Hang in there 💓

I thought for sure my (now 4 year old) was dropping naps around 3. He napped maybe 50% of the time no matter how worn out he was. Now, he will nap 2-4 hours a day (we usually have to wake him up) and about 12 hours a night. He is growing and his mind is working harder now. So don't lose hope! She may just be going through a phase. Kids need more sleep than they will ever admit. My son still whines that he hates naps and bed time but passes out in 5 minutes or less lol

I would try to push through the napping strike. It’s very rare to drop nap after just turning 2. I would keep up nap time routine and leave her in crib for quiet time for as long a you can. My 3.5 yo daughter still naps-went through a nap strike at 2 and at 3 for a few weeks each time. We kept up usual nap time routine and she went back to napping like usual. Good luck!

That's so funny because here in Germany most kids go to a kindergarten when they turn 1 (some maybe 2) year(s) old, and nap till they are 5/6 (and when they don't want to take a nap, they have to lay down on the mattress and be quiet to calm down and let the others sleep (and sometimes they will fall asleep, even if they don't "need" it usually) XD

She should not be dropping naps yet, not even close. My son did go through a period of fighting naps though so don’t lose hope! It’ll get better!

My kids still took naps until they were 4 going on 5. Once they started kindergarten is when they stopped napping for the most part. Even if she doesn’t sleep, I would leave her in her crib regardless, unless she’s screaming for a while, for a couple hours bc more than likely she’ll fall asleep. If you get in the habit of putting her down and going to get her after 20-30 min, you probably won’t get her to nap much at all anymore bc she then she’ll know that you’ll come and get her if she won’t sleep. My sisters daughter would do the same thing Riley is doing and she would let her out of her crib after 20 minutes if she was still awake and she stopped napping at 2 years old. She was a nightmare for the rest of the day too. Once they realize you’re not going to come and get them, more often than not they’ll fall asleep.

Uppababy is so worth it ONLY IF you’re willing to spend the money. It’s honestly the best quality ive ever seen in a stroller, and it will definitely last a life time. I have the Evenflo Sibby (the single version of the pivot) for my parents house and they love it bc its simple and easy to use as a travel system, but i keep my Uppababy for myself. I love it a bit more because we dont have any carseats that work with the uppababy, and its nice to be able to put my lil guy in the toddler seat (you cant do that with 90% of regular strollers since they dont recline) without spending the extra $400 on a matching carseat. I only have the Cruz (since i dont plan on another for the next 5+ years) but i still think its so worth it.

I swear my son and Jackson should be best friends. Both spend half of their day trying to poop and wake up hourly at night despite our efforts to make them sleep 🙃

I love your vlogs I feel better watching them because I feel like I'm failing sometimes. I'm still trying to figure everything out and trying to get it all done. Sometimes I can't clean or do all my errands and its frustrating. Especially when Dad is saying if he stayed home. He'd have the house clean with breakfast, lunch, and dinner done everyday. 😠 I love how you keep it real. Thanks for sharing your life with us mommas.

Hi there, I also have a 2-month old boy - love of my life - but like Jackson, he doesnt sleep (and poop) well and wasnt a happy baby. I have no routine cos sometimes he naps for half an hour and dont sleep for 3-4 hours... So we are pretty much relatable and i keep watching your vlogs to see if you have any tips. I just bought the snoo recently but my baby hasnt adapted to it as effective as a newborn. It has been 2 weeks and he just starts to settle in snoo at nighttime (daytime is still a disaster). So if you decide to rent the snoo, do it as early as you can :)

I know you talk about how he has some pooping problems. My son is 2 months old and I had the same problems with him. So I had to put him on enfamil Reguline. It was my last hope and it really works great with his poop it’s not hard and it’s not painful when he passes it. 😊 p.s. I love your videos your such a good mom!!!
