I used it in the snow, as a driver you really don’t know this much. I did like engaging four-wheel-drive on other vehicles but I guess this is OK. Using a rental car and I have those freaking modern tires that are like bicycle tires that I hate. But one thing, just so everybody knows, if you run to the store and then get back in the car to drive somewhere else, it always resets back to normal after you shut the car off. So you will have to reset the mode each time you start the car.

But do you go into those modes while driving or should you stop first to change those modes?

I tried doing that in my new 2023 Mitsubishi outlander and it gave me warning of engine failure reduced power and my car was not moving over 30kph.. it became normal after couple of engine off and on.. dealership said that don’t change modes when the speed is higher. My speed was 60kph when I changed modes

What's Tarmac? Lol (I know but nobody uses that term in the US)

Literally! I feel like its “sport” mode? What is the true difference between tarmac and normal is my question. Tarmac is just regular road.

How I wish the drive mode can stay where ever you left it
