Hi coach, I’m not a beginner when it comes to the backspin, but I absolutely cannot do one properly. Every time I try to do a backspin, I wind up switching from a back outside to a forward inside... I understand that this is partially because I’m not pulling my hips in, but I’m not sure how to fix the problem. Any tips?

Thank you for the video! It's concise and straight to the point. How many hours will take to make at least two stable revolutions on the beginners back spin? I am spending 30 minutes a month now almost every day, and it's still only one good revolution, with no (or only teeny-tiny) noticeable progress.
Thank you so much!! One question: Did I get it right? Is the weight on the same "position" (near the toe pick) as it is during the ,normal` spin? Thanks!

Maybe try using the front part of ur foot instead of the whole foot with the back part of it(?) I hope this helps

Yes! On every spin, the eight should be on that curve just behind the toe pick, that way you avoid falling backwards
@@fernandag.6652 Thank you! Do you know how it works on Inline skates? Some say the weight should be on the stopper, some on the curve...
I keep going on my toe pick 🥺
it's okay you are close! just takes time to find the magic spot
Thank you! I can’t practice rn cause of corona but I hope to get it once everything is back to normal lol
Why do all figure skating girls look so cute on the ice?
Nahh im allergic to the cold and I look like Rudolph with pollen allergies on ice
Why am I here? Totally not in Star2 😉
