Love Shaker cards Jennifer, these are all so beautiful! Great use of recycling paper & plastic as well; YOU ROCK!!! The blocks you used as weights are so pretty! Thanks so much for sharing your creativity! Blessings & hugs!!!
Some wonderful ideas here Jennifer! LOVE the plaid stamp set and the addition of colour through the stencils is fabulous. Really enjoyed these ideas! Hugs, Wends xoxo
Beautiful cards. I'm normally not a shaker fan, I love these shaker cards. I think it's because the shaker element is smaller. Anyway, I just love them.
Thank you for always showing alternatives. I live in South Africa and we can't get all these amazing products so finding out to use what we have is great.
I am in awe of your creativity. You always come up with something outside the box, which always turns out stunning. Jennifer, thank you for keeping your “oops” in the video. It helped me realize we are all human and put our hearts into what we create. Your cards are filled with love and kindness. Thank you for all you do💞💖💞
I love the way you show us this beautiful new release from Pinkfresh but you say "make what you have work for you". So many of us want to buy it all but you help us realize to use what we have too! I love that about you❤️. Thank you.
Feeling spoiled with so many videos in one week. I’m getting ready for my 31st and last year of teaching but always have time for your videos and more wonderful ideas! Thank you!❤️
Oh Jennifer…. You always give the best ideas. Plus, I feel challenged to at least try to make something from every video. I’ve been on a shaker card kick lately and your “maze technique” really has intrigued me. I doubt I can pull it off, but I’m sure gonna try! TFS and, as always, God bless you!
I like that she says we don’t need to buy everything just use what we have and what works for us unless if something sparks your interest and try it out and get it I don’t buy everything crafting tools are expensive
Love the “mistake” for your stenciling resulting in a mirror image option! Brilliant as always. Every time I see your work. I learn. Just marvelous! Thank you.
Ok I'm in love....with all of these shaker style cards! They are so pretty and look like so much fun to make. Thank you for such a thorough tutorial Jennifer, as I have never made a shaker card...yet!🌷🌷
WOW! WOW! WOW!! Gorgeous cards!! So happy companies are coming out with bundles that make crafting faster and helps those of us who are 'coloring challenged". 😁 I really like the maze idea; I've typically glued some of the fillers so they stay in place. Great video.
J - u r a genius! This looks to be so much easier than using that foam tape which always goes sideways when I try to use and stays sticky no matter what I do. TFS this.
Jennifer, this has got to be one of my favorite of all you videos. Leaves, stencils, Fall colors and shaker cards. What's not to love!!! Thank you for this fun and inspiring tutorial. Also, thank you for showing how to correct the error with the leaf stencils. I'm sure plenty of us (me) have done that. Great cards, too!
Beautiful cards! I appreciate all the tips for building up the shaker walls. And I really like the “maze” shaker. Great way to keep some sequins from falling to the bottom. 😊
Oh so lovely! Thanks for your amazing ideas! Because I don’t have plaid stamps, I will try this first couple of cards using plaid patterned paper. Your cards never cease to amaze me!
I absolutely love these cards. Really classing up the shaker card. The concept of the layering stencils appeals to me, because I'm not an accomplished colorist. But I'm totally intimidated about how to select the colors to use. You make it seem so easy, but I'm just stumped. Help us out... Maybe do a video that includes color selection theory/guidance on how to select colors (when dark, when light, etc.) when using layering stencils???
@Jennifer McGuire Ink • Very comprehensive video. Your tips for lining up the windows are very helpful. When you stenciled the leaves the wrong way, it was kind of you to admit it but then go on to show us a solution of holding it to the window to align the die. I love the symmetry of reverse images and this is so much easier than stamping onto a flat stamp to stamp the reverse image. (Lining it up is miserable. 😟) Your ingenuity in using the shadow dies for a sentiment steps up what we'll all be able to achieve. By the way, you might like the big, bold "JOY" stamp PennyBlackInc just released. I know you like to recommend buying tools and supplies with multiple applications. When I watched the videos, I just thought of all the occasions beyond Christmas, baby shower, confirmation, graduation, engagement, marriage, promotion, retirement, etc., for which joy is the appropriate sentiment. However, the only use I thought of was a photo or scene. Although a shaker card is obvious for such a die, I never thought of that until I watched this video. Thanks so much for sharing. 👍
So pretty! Thank you for showing all the different types, I have learned lots! I find shaker cards intimidating but this is a great resource I can come back to again and again.
Wow Jennifer, these are all just so beautiful!! You did such a great job showcasing all of these fabulous products by Pinkfresh! Thanks so much. I am completely bedazzled and inspired. :)
Thanks so much once more for your great videos. I just bought the plaid stencil and stamp because of this video and am struggling with the stencils. You used 3 inks, was it one per stencil on both sides? I tried doing that but the inks blend where the other color is below. I just don't get the same result as you. Any tips you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
what were the heavy blocks you were using blue and green they were beautiful as well. you always make things simple for more complicated projects. thanks

You are megathon card maker! How can I chose? So many ideas so much so I have to ask myself, “How in the world do I get stuck?” I love love the blue plaid square with shaker in the middle. What a great guy card! You are just awesome!
These are so cool and impressive! What are some alternatives to sequins and gems that would be a bit more environmentally friendly? Would paper confetti work? Are there other products? Thanks 🙂
Oooooo...your first stencil colors are so beautiful, I had to comment immediately. Thank you for sharing all your valuable techniques. Love, love, love your videos! ❤️ Also, your nails are so cute and I noticed they match the same background colors that resonate with me. Beautiful work! (Can I ask about what product you use on your nails or is there a video reference? So pretty, thank you!)

Love your videos Jennifer! Thank you. I am in need of ideas for storing loose sequins and the half gems. Do you have any suggestions? Thank you!

You are megathon card maker! How can I chose? So many ideas so much so I have to ask myself, “How in the world do I get stuck?”
I love love the blue plaid square with shaker in the middle. What a great guy card! You are just awesome!
These are so cool and impressive! What are some alternatives to sequins and gems that would be a bit more environmentally friendly? Would paper confetti work? Are there other products? Thanks 🙂
Paper confetti would work great! You can cut them out of shiny foil cardstock to give them shine
where did you get the weights looks like granite
Around the 15:15 mark, there is an interesting looking textured circle. Could you tell us how you so accomplished it?
Oooooo...your first stencil colors are so beautiful, I had to comment immediately. Thank you for sharing all your valuable techniques. Love, love, love your videos! ❤️

When you make lots of die cut sentiments how do you store them ? Thanks 😊
Love it
Have you ever used craft foam in place of the stacked paper? I've seen others use it and was curious if it works. Thanks!
I think I did at some point. Feel free to use what works for you! I have so many scraps that it works well for me to stack paper.
Awesome ideas as always! Where did you get those paperweights?
A reader sent them to me. They sell samples at vetrazzo.com. They are thinner than the ones I have but should work.
