Love Kelly Clarkson. I completely agree Kelly. Bruce gets his flowers as a great songwriter (which he is) a great bandleader (which he is) but sometimes I agree he doesn't get his flowers as a vocalist.
Also speaking of Bruce, I agree that everyone gives him his proper dues for being an all-time great songwriter, band leader, storyteller, performer, etc. but purely as a vocalist, he is fantastic. Saw him in Philly in 2012, and there were moments during that 3.5 hour set where I was thinking “how does he sound this good at this age after all this time??”
100% agree with Kelly about this. I’ve a much stronger, richer tone with 52 than I had when I started in my 20’s. Springsteen? Is a master! He’s not only an athlete on stage, he also has incredible vocal stamina at 73.
Oh we know lift me up! I wouldnt say hes underrated, I think anyone whos ever been on his concert knows whats up. My life definetly changed and you feel reborn. It's not a concert, it's an experience. Cant wait, Wienna july!
Eric Clapton is a perfect example of better with age. He was always a good singer, but his range and tone got better as he got older. He sings better at 60+ than he did on his first solo album.
Almost 80 now! Been listening to a lot of Clapton lately and getting much more into his singing in addition to the shredding guitar which was obviously always at the forefront.
Way to completely misunderstand what she was talking about. She wasn't talking about good as an artist. She was talking about how underrated he is as a vocalist. Learn the difference. NewSchooler? I guess the name fits.
I've been a Sprinsteen fan for 45 years. I've seen him in concert 10 times. However, IMO it's a stretch to say he has a great voice. His range is certainly limited.
He does have a GREAT voice. Not every voice has the same range. It's how you use it. Look how many girls are singing along with Taylor Swift at her concerts - she has way less of a range than Bruce.
she's probably referring to the younger generations not appreciating him. The people that grew up with him know his talent. People under 40 are less likely to appreciate it.

I love Bruce so much. I saw him a few years ago and he played for 2.5-3 hours, had so much energy and sounded incredible.
Saw him last night. 💖
I have to give her props to her knowing "Lift me up" very rare most commenters on here won't know it.
Zactly!
I read a million years ago she wanted to cover it. Wasn't sure if it was true at the time.
It's lovely.
Love Kelly Clarkson. I completely agree Kelly. Bruce gets his flowers as a great songwriter (which he is) a great bandleader (which he is) but sometimes I agree he doesn't get his flowers as a vocalist.
There’s a reason Bruce Springsteen is called the *BOSS* … cause he is!!
LOTS of reasons, really.
Can't believe she knows Lift me up! So good

Kelly your the best
1. You're.
2. No.

Bruce sings falsetto on 'Sad Eyes' too, kind of a Roy Orbison pastiche.
I'll have to check them out
And "All I'm Thinkin' About."
Not the greatest song though.
Not many people know that song, but ya , that’s the one. Lift me Up!
He’s an amazing performer I’ve seen 30 concerts
Bruce's voice was beautiful and crystal clear at the two solo Christic Institute performances in 1990...most wonderful shows by him ever.
Yes! Real World in particular🔥
We always see Bruce Springsteen here in Jersey; it's his home state :). And yes, he's underrated regarding his vocals.
constructive criticism to production crew [and you're all great...love the content]: color correction between those cameras 😬
I love Springsteens singing.Alot of nay sayers are unfamiliar with his best vocal performances
Well he's the only one I've seen 40 times still waiting on the Columbus show
You spent your money well
Greetings from Austria, my friend
Underrated….hes the boss…he’s done everything…he’s a legend
I guess we all know Kelly Clarkson is juts whole round underrated depsite her vocals being rightfully appreciated.
Eric Clapton is a perfect example of better with age. He was always a good singer, but his range and tone got better as he got older. He sings better at 60+ than he did on his first solo album.

I always thought that EC had a great voice!
WELL CLAPTON WAS ALSO STONED MOST OF HIS YOUNGER DAYS! ❤
@@rubymccaslin6841 I was born in 1974....
Um. Except when it comes to health care advice.
Vince Neil and Jon bongovi need to talk to her
☑️
Haha vocals 101 with..... Kelly Clarkson! LOL
41? Where has time gone?
totally NOT underrated as a singer, he had and still has a great voice.
Elton John too!
Please give me some hope of integrity w Stern. Did he give a moment to honor Eric the actor?
Is this what we've come to, a music legend being judged by an AMERICAN IDOL alum...?
Rip Eric the actor.
Your constantly talking😂😂😂
He's under rated ?... actually he's highly rated ..she's clearly not been paying attention
The unfortunate thing is, I only remember Bruce Springsteen for the 2 Christmas songs that are played every December
That's your fault. Venture out from whatever crap you're listening to
he was given the presidential medal of freedom, i dont think thats being underrated. imo.
She’s talking about his skills as a vocalist being underrated.
@@thelevisullivan i myself dont know him for anything else but, except maybe song writing.
Eric the midget would’ve called in today 😢
Ronnie James Dio. Steve Perry, had the most amazing voices when they were younger
Not everything gets better with age... majority get worse
Do we really need someone to tell us Springsteen is good?
Way to completely misunderstand what she was talking about. She wasn't talking about good as an artist. She was talking about how underrated he is as a vocalist. Learn the difference. NewSchooler? I guess the name fits.
Lol you’re giving him to much credit. He saw the title and decided to get sassy instead of watching it, guaranteed
@@KD-ue3vp That is 100% correct.
💯 agree with Kelly. 👍🏼
@@PowerNGlory clearly a newb
Sing-ger
Tom Jones got better with age.
Howard’s musical knowledge is so limited.
Billy Joel has ZERO voice left now. Years ago, yes, but over the past 5 years his voice has gone to poop.
Listen to the new song he put out and then see if you can still say he has no voice left.
Bruce is always out of tune
I pretty sure ETM was on hold from heaven, or, hell ! ack ack
Offended 😅😅😅😅 jesus calm down Kelly.
Kind of a give away that all this time she always assumed that older people cant sing properly... or weren't very good.
I've been a Sprinsteen fan for 45 years. I've seen him in concert 10 times. However, IMO it's a stretch to say he has a great voice. His range is certainly limited.

@@bobdylansdaughterwe'll have to agree to disagree!
If you listen to "Lift Me Up" you might reconsider your opinion of his range.
Doesn't really answer the question. lol
she did. You weren't listening
Springsteen is a lot of things but the last thing he is is underrated.
Yes. He’s a legend and everyone knows it.
she said underrated as a _vocalist_
underrated, as a vocalist... pay the f attention.
@@bobabooey4537 Show me one article where Springsteen is underrated as a vocalist.
Underrated? He sells out football stadiums for days...she might be a bit out of touch
She's not out of touch. Fanboys really in their feelings and blocking their hearing 😂😂😂
and you too.... underrated, as a vocalist... pay the f attention.
