I did that because the original uses Megalovania as main motif, but isn't called The Megalomaniac. The Murder sounds kind of close and also starts with M so I basically did the same for Dustswap

He's already been killed hundreds of times. He finally fights back But whatever amount of love he gains, won't stop Chara's genocide. Determination prevents death. So sans will eventually become "The murder" once again. But that's just how I see it.

Sans gets a reality check right through the his skull: He fought against Chara's genocide but he only made things worse for everyone. But in gaining love, he also grew cocky. He believed he was stronger than Chara, so he did not dodge during the final battle, resulting in his death. He realizes the moment Chara lands the final blow that he's trapped in another loop, only now HE'S the one killing everyone he loves. Oppose a god and expect punishment, essentially. Dustbelief happens when papyrus manages to kill sans in one of these loops of murder. But is driven to insanity by grief and remorse he feels about it. I assume dustswap and dusttrust are similar. So for papyrus it would be "reality check for the reanimated." And dustshift would be "Devil's reality check" Duststoryswap would be "reality check for the savior" Dustspin would be "the murderer's reality check" (despite everything, asgore is still terrible at names.)
I'd had to change the key of base itself, which is kinda weird since the original The Murder also changed the Megalovania's key. Don't get me wrong, this is still trash, even after just a year xd
