Another Bug/Dragon. Especially when they're few types of Mantis named after stereotypical Dragons. Like Dragon Flower Mantis for example. Additionally, I'll go with Bug/Normal. And I know we already have real-life Spider Monkeys to begin with. But with the gargantuan size and intense aggressive behavior of a Pseudo Legendary, the only creative combination what I have in mind is a King Baboon Spider, a Mandrill, and even a Dinopithecus. What do you think?
I've got a couple more concepts for Firage! You know Taz from Looney Tunes, right? He's the Tazmanian Devil character that constantly spins around. The type combo of Fire/Electric gives me high energy vibes as well as raging beast vibes, so how about having two signature moves that focus on spinning? Firage could have "Spinferno" as its Fire-Type signature move; and it could have "Electronado" as its Electric-Type signature move. It'd be able to learn all of the 'spinning' moves; and its ability could invole it getting a boost of some kind when using a spinning moves (e.g: +1 Atk or Sp. Atk after using a spinning move like Rapid Spin). Just the thought of this Pokemon spinning around in a violent rage is too much to pass up, imo.
Honestly, I was a little surprised they didn't make one of the Tapu Pokémon in Alola a Fire/Fairy type as a parallel to the Hawaiian volcano goddess, Pele.
Maybe it's because there isn't a Fiery Terrain, probably so Terrains and weather don't her mixed up. Hence why Tapu Fini doesn't have a Watery Terrain. 0:00 . A Pele Tapu would be a great legendary master Something I noticed is that there isn't a 670/680 BST legend from Alola that is Alolan in-universe (the Cosmog line are aliens)
that would be so cool - tapu bulu would be made green (bit of a bummer) and moved to Moloka'i, which could have an a water-route that actually feels natural i get why they didn't, but that could still be cool (plus you can always add terrains)
Believe it or not, a Normal/Steel type is actually a very good defensive combo. And while it might have a double weakness to fighting types, this combo has 10 resistances, 2 immunities, and only 2 other weaknesses.
Gamefreak's gonna say: "We're gonna make a Dragon/Grass, Dragon/Fire, Dragon/Water, Dragon/Electric, Dragon/Normal, Dragon/Poison, Dragon/Rock, Dragon/Bug, and Dragon/Fairy Pseudo Legendary for the next couple of Generations."
My favorites are Malgalore and Fierage! I feel like Talethal could learn Cyclizars tail shed signature move and if it does the apple at the end can become a evolutionary item for Applin!
I only remember the Pseudos as all Dragons aside from Tyranitar and Metagross. I really want to see more non-Dragon Pseudos. P.S. Galligrunge kinda reminds me of Toxicroak somehow.
Tbf for me Galligrunge has strong lizard vibes, the whole stuck shed, spiky crest behind the back of the head like an agama with the overall bulky standing of a wrestling monitor although not as elongated. It kinda has the base build of Toxicroak tho
"A monster that doesn't look too much like anything" Snorlax literally just looks like a fat, sleepy bear. You could have used Nidoking or rhydon to make that point way better.
Arceus knows the Bug type deserves a Pseudo-Legendary Pokémon. Bug/Steel Type to be precise, but Dragomoth is pretty close to what I wished for. Malgalore is what a Fire/Fairy should be. And Calligrunge is what slacking should have been.
I'm really tired of getting new Dragon Pseudos. That's all they've been doing for the past six generations, and I want a new Pseudo that isn't a Dragon. Here's my idea for a Bug type Pseudo Legendary: Tectondung (Bug/Ground) evolves into Rumbeetle (Bug/Ground) at level 20 and Dungquake (Bug/Ground) at level 40. This is a dung beetle Pseudo that manipulates the land at will.
My top 3 out of these are Malgalore, Fierage and Talethal (this one could actually be an evolution for a regional form of Applin that is also Poison/Dragon Type)
what could also have worked for a normal/steel pseudo, would be a troll like pokemon (just for the connection to folklore) with a horseshoe, since horseshoes (made from iron) were known to be a repellent for ghosts (a pokemon typing that stands as the opposite of normal types).
Finally a custom art video of Pseudo Legendary pokemon video because I'm tired of Dragons always being in this category. Like use a different typing man like what you did in Pokemon Cardinal
An Fire/Electric pseudo as always something i would love to see, i was imagining it more like a lizard, but a tasmanian devil would also be cool. Dragon/Fire and Dragon/Water are also another type combos i love to see for a pseudo.
I would definitely like to see more Pseudo Legends that are not dragon types because they have been around quite a bit. I really like the bunch in this video, they are all great. My top 3 favorites include Maidraqua, Fierage, and Malgalore. P.S: I know what I said about seeing less dragon Pseudo Legends, but Maidraqua being part water spoke to me.😅
For Malgalore, the name can also reference an abundance of evil or oddity since “Mal” as a prefix means abnormal or bad while “galore” means there’s a lot of it.
Okay all these pseudos are amazing. Love to see fan game with fire, water electric pseudos as starters. And All the new pseudos be like the gimmick. So that could be like raging pseudos with 600 Base stat and then item or just gimmick of the region buffs any mon to 600 stat
Such cool ideas! My favorites are Maidraqua and Dragomoth! I once had an idea for a Bug-Dragon pseudo-legendary Pokémon based on a rhino beetle! It should start off as a pure Bug-Type before earning its Dragon typing when it first evolves. Game Freak should branch out more when creating new Pokémon, especially those based on bugs and plants.
I really want to see an Electric/Dark-type physical attacker pseudo-legendary. Maybe one based on a devil or an ogre. First stage is Eleimp (Electric + Imp), second stage is Galblin (Galvanic + Goblin), and final evolution is Thundevile (Thunder + Devil + Vile).
The fact that they haven't introduced a Fairy psuedo is shocking. It and Dragon fit as a "Myth" duo, they could make more Fairy psuedos to break up the monotony of Dragon psuedos. Surely there are enough of the fae to avoid the cutesy stereotype
when I first read Malgalore it made me think of Manticore which could be seen as a chimera being depicted in media as part lion, part human, part scorpion and sometimes part bat, though yours is obviously more traditional chimera
another thing about your Normal type, based on the concept it would make sense for it to have sound based moves and get stab from things like hyper voice
You know, with the Starter Trio being unused for Psuedo Legendaries, I think it'd be neat if in a gen they had a Psuedo Trio with those three types that mirrored the Starters. So whatever type of creature the Starters end up being, the Pseudos would also be, giving them a similar but distinct look. Could make some cool lore/story stuff to have a kind of Pseudo Legend Starter Trio.
I believe that talethal could resemble the snake that told Eve to eat from the tree of knowledge even if God told her and Adam not to. Anyway, talethal is awesome.
So far, I really like the Galligrunge line for reasons that I’ll go over below: I’m a fan of the more ambiguous mons; you can see the inspiration from the name but it’s subdued in the design. I feel like this is what was missing from the newer pokemon generations. I saw Toxtricity and thought that there was a possibility of pivoting toward that design trope, but I did not find anything from Gen 9 that stuck out to me (Except for Koraidon and Miraidon and their middle child Cyclizar). It would be nice if Gamefreak went back to those kinds of designs…
Galligrunge would be the perfect ace for the first Normal-type E4 member. Would Saurovine be the pseudo of Okkona, as the gingko inspiration would fit Japan?
Missed an opportunity to make the Normal pseudo a sasquatch. I can't think of a creature that would fit "normal type" better than it but still be a pseudo.
It would be really cool but also kind of weird if all three of the starters for GEN 10 we’re dragon type and pseudo legendary alongside their original fire grass water trio It would be very unique
If only. There'll be eighteen paired game "generations" and sixteen different dragons. I'd have personally liked to see more type diversity in every category, but Gamefreak obviously doesn't see things that way.
I love seeing people create fakemon, but I hate that game freak will full on not make a pokemon design if it looks like an already existing fakemon. I'm terrified we will never get a new eeveelution or mega flygon because of this.
Honestly reusing the fire to pair up with two types that don't already have a pseudo is not a cheat I mean you could give each of them their own one also but you don't have to do that cuz guess what you kind of wished out with the water type giving it part dragon but I like the inspiration enough to where I'm like yeah I can kind of see where you're coming from cuz there are a lot of sea monsters that have like dragon inspiration but really mermaid isn't a dragon at all but you made it kind of work so I'm not mad at it

Talethal is my favorite Fakémon of this batch. It's design is superb! *Chef's kiss*
@@SinCityYetiArt thank you I’m glad you like it!! 😄😄
Malgalore sounds like manticore too. Another creature very similar to a chimera
Alongside "Galore," which means something in great numbers; like in this case a mix of a great number of Pokemon/creatures.
Also Magalor. I mean… they don’t have much similarities, but I immediately thought of my evil invader bean.

Isn't Volcarona a Fire bug pseudo? It may be just be 2 stage but the high lvl Evo and the stays kinda qualify it
No, a pseudo legendary requires a BST of 600 exactly and a three staged evolutionary line
You could say that Saurovine is a diVINE Pokemon
Malgalore’s mane also resembles Luxray.
The dragon type really carrying most of these mons XD
I always wanted regional fire/fairy (levitate of sorts) Ho-oh, and water/dragon Lugia to match ❤️
