Angel36930 i dont mind those cuts . it didnt affect the show .i personally loved the english dub and as i say i watched the japanese ones .i didnt like it it seems too old and the voice actors arent in the level of the english dub voice actors .the voice of yugi , joey , kaiba are so epic .but they are not that good on the japanese .also the music isnt that good .so i must say 4kids only good work is the original .in gx , 5ds , arc-v the japanese versions are the best and in another level than the english dubs .in the original only the english dub is awesome .and it looks so modern even until now .

When I saw this season for the first time on TV I thought that the Legendary Dragons would wind up replacing the Egyptian Gods and that the plot as a whole would change. I still feel a bit sad that it didn't last. This soundtrack did make the Legendary Dragons sound stronger and more important.
It also opened up the door to the alt dimension from which All duel monsters come from and setup some of the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Lore though. Realms beyond Egyptian Gods and Zorc. But a lot of the first series’ original lore of how modern Seto and Priest Seto are connected remain unexplained. The movie Dark Side of Dimensions didn’t do anything either on this front.
iRazenrak I actually liked those. Valon's armor deck suits the kind of person he is, as he's originally a street kid who had to fight to survive. The Kuriboh Brothers... Okay, those were a little odd, but they made me laugh in the middle of the most serious duel in the entire arc so they're forgiven. As for the Legendary Knights, when they appeared as knights it suddenly went a little too fast, I would've preferred it if they had appeared as knights earlier in the duel, so that they had a slightly more defined role.
It was an entertaining ark. But they sure did mistreat Mai's character. All the growth she went through the past 3 seasons only to see she has just reverted to being a power obsessed egomaniac.

This song gets me emotional 🥺 because I have a soft stop for DRAGONS. For all their ferociousness it's their hearts that are the largest.... Dragons may seem SCARY, but their the gentleness creatures
The 4Kids theme of Timaeus is epic ! One of the reasons I love the dub despite their faults ! Seriously, the Season 4 were my favorite season with the Season 1 and the Toei anime ("Season 0") !

When I saw how this filler just came out of nowhere, and how Dartz so easily acquired the Egyptian Gods from Yugi, I thought, "Oh great, they're short of ideas aren't they?" But I was so brilliantly amazed by this whole season that I wanted to see so much more! Hell, I admit to seriously coveting the orichalcos cards.
ya I LOVED THIS FILLER SEASON! u even get to see a side of YamiYugi without Yugi and his humanity/weaknesses. Infact all the characters were amazing, the music was awesome, the moments were sooo epic!! I really wish it was canon, so there would be continuity of those amazing knights and characters in the next seasons too.

I can't think of a better filler season in any anime. Despite being self-contained, everything about this arc screamed "important"

Seasons 4-5 were my favorite seasons personally.
Personally, the Waking the Dragons arc was my favorite, and I personally think it was the most epic of the series (even if not canon to the manga).
