The lower the timings the better. But much more important are two channels and the amount of RAM, the second is the frequency of the RAM. The last one is the timings.

Remember guys. Dont buy the 3200mhz stick. You ALWAYS can overclock your ram. I have Hynix 8gbx2 = 16gb 2166mhz CL14. And i overclocked this 2800;MHz, CL13!!!!. I recommend you to buyt 2666MHz-2800MHz CL14-16 and overclock it to 3200- 3400+ if you want to. And keep the lowest cl rate, just ramp up dram voltage. You can safely overclock over 0.1500 volts your ram, without nothing happening. Even the temperatures are same. But i dont suggest over 0.200 voltage overclocks, because then it COULD damage your memory. It probably doesn'y but better safe than sorry. I had 1.2v -2166mhz CL14 now 1.300v 2800MHz CL13 :)
I have been overclocking over ~10 years so don't worry, you can safely use my advice.

CL16 is better than CL22 but it makes no sense, the difference between them is negligible
If you want to get an FPS boost, then RAM is better with a higher frequency of 3600 - 4000 MHz and higher.

      Hi.
The difference between SL 18 and SL16 is small.
You can try lowering the timings or raising the frequency. In this case, you need to raise the voltage.
You can use the Ryzen DRAM Calculator to find timings.
