    I love that this interviewer figured out that Bo liked to have long explained answers and actually let him talk and go into detail of his through process instead of spitting off a grocery list of questions. Bo has such an amazing thought process and I am constantly impressed at what comes out of his mouth.

    I remember this distinct feeling as a teenager, that my problems somehow didn't matter to anybody, because of my age and that everything I felt was ridiculed and belittled. The constant underlying notion that I was just being "dramatic" kind of never left me. Now I'm closing in on thirty and in hindishgt I can say, I wasn't being dramatic at all and most adults that told me that, wouldn't have been able to handle what I had to handle at that age.
    So if there's one thing I'd tell my teenage-self (or any teenager right now), it's that most adults don't know better. They just grow older and learn how to make their inabilities sound acceptable.

    it makes me happy that the interviewer is already a fan of Bo's standup because he understands the way his brain works enough to know that he likes to give long and detailed answers

    This interviewer did a great job. Let the conversation go, didn't cut any answers off and got information out of the both of them that can't be found in any other interview.

    man watching these old interviews now takes on so much meaning, Inside is really a culmination of all of his work, thoughts and ideas

    I love how it feels like Elsie is herself giving off those exact things Bo describes of children her age or younger.

    I really appreciate this interview! You did a great job of letting Bo speak and let his longer answers form, instead of just a question that can be answered quickly and expect a short answer wrapped up in a nice box because he's already answered those questions. I love watching Bo as he's putting together what he wants to say. You can see him processing and thinking. Also I enjoy that he didn't have to sit properly and be stiff like a typical interview. You all seemed more comfortable and relaxed.

    as an eighth grader, I think Bo has our psychological process down pat. specifically for my classmates (God,,, why must I be cursed) but for me as well. puberty sucks.

    I think that Harry Potter still finds more fear in talking to a girl than in slaying the basilisk though ahaha

    I actually had my first karaoke experience last month at 22
    .... and then I think about how Bo was doing concerts at that age

    I totally get that feeling from the trailer from the film. I got that from the get go. But....for others it might not be that easy. I don't think it will score bad AT ALL. But fairly well.. congrats future Bo.

    I feel sometimes like bo mentally has never left school. If you know what I mean?
    His content generally revolves around school. He's never really had life experience in a way others have and it makes me abit sad.

    9:01 minute, he says that he has quit performing onstage? Did I understand this correctly?

    • @sammy135_
      @sammy135_ 5 лет назад +6

      He did, but he's said in later interviews that he might come back to it because he feels after doing this movie, and after saying how he feels on stage he's started to be able to understand his panic attacks. He just wants to find something new to say before he jumps into a new special.

      I watched an interview a little while back (I have no clue which one) where he actually says he thinks somewhere in his early days of performing that he felt audiences took better to comedians with an alto voice rather than a baritone “which I think is what I actually am, really.” Since his break from performing he may have let his voice relax to its natural baritone state. Or he could just be sick 🤷‍♀️
