Romo was an all pro and one of the best to play even though he had a trash oline and run games ranked in the second half of the league and historically bad defenses. Prescott is just a high school type passing qb, on a team with an oline that gives almost 5 seconds in the pocket (which is insanely amazing), one of the best run games, and the best receiving core and a top 10 defense, in a trash nfc east, in an era where the rules make it very easy to play qb, especially if you have a decent oline.
The o line Prescott is not what it use to be the running back is not what the he was in his first 2 years...and these receivers ain't as tough as Dez was plus Prescott didn't perform and is restricted running the ball...they needed to trade Elliot when he was in Cabo I called it out here to my friends
Idk this guy but he's right to a certain extent. I think when ppl think of a "good" or "great" QBs it comes down to a quarterback ability to improvise when a play doesn't go their way. Dak is a good QB but he's a "scripted QB". Just like 99% of the other QBs. He needs a run game, correct play selection and his defense to do their part. You can't teach improvise ability. Mahomes, Arod, Burrow, Allen etc are born that way.

That's great, but the level of throws Prescott makes is at a level that literally every college qb, even d2 qbs can make. Modern day nfl has rules so ridiculous that it can make extremely terrible qbs put up great stats if they have a great oline, run game and receiving core. Don't just look at the stats look at the context of those stats. Not to mention running up scoreboards vs backups week 16 and week 18.

I wouldn't say that's true because he did make it to three NFC championship games. 2006 against the Bears, 2009 against Vikings and 2019 against the Rams where they got screwed over. The dude has alot of playoff wind but had bad gameplans against those teams.

The only real problem Dak has is, holding on to the ball for too long, which leads to fumbles, and not throwing enough slants. Otherwise he is basically everything you want in a QB. If he can learn to trust his WR on quick slants and outs, he will be a top 5 qb
Dak looked good when he had an all-star line that was untouchable. This made him and Zeke look like the best duo that has hit the league since Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk. Then the injuries took place on the line, and Dak recieved more pressure and Zeke did not have these wide open holes to gash the defense with. If any QB and RB duo had that line they would have looked just as good. This year alone Daks number were inflated due to playing 3 pretty bad teams twice a year with arguably one of the best WR core in the leauge, and the rest of the games were against subpar defenses. At the moment they are stuck with Dak, and I would try to get another competent starter with some draft picks personally. Tony Pollard was clearly more explosive than Zeke, but Jones was adamant about these two player remaining staters juss saying.
Don't know why everyone is so critical of Dak he came back from that injury to soon played all last year hurt over compensating for that injury which eventually caused the calf strain and threw his accuracy off after the New England game cut Dak a break prior to the injury in New England Dak look great! Cowboys 4 Life

Romo was an all pro and one of the best to play even though he had a trash oline and run games ranked in the second half of the league and historically bad defenses.
Prescott is just a high school type passing qb, on a team with an oline that gives almost 5 seconds in the pocket (which is insanely amazing), one of the best run games, and the best receiving core and a top 10 defense, in a trash nfc east, in an era where the rules make it very easy to play qb, especially if you have a decent oline.
The o line Prescott is not what it use to be the running back is not what the he was in his first 2 years...and these receivers ain't as tough as Dez was plus Prescott didn't perform and is restricted running the ball...they needed to trade Elliot when he was in Cabo I called it out here to my friends
Idk this guy but he's right to a certain extent. I think when ppl think of a "good" or "great" QBs it comes down to a quarterback ability to improvise when a play doesn't go their way.
Dak is a good QB but he's a "scripted QB". Just like 99% of the other QBs. He needs a run game, correct play selection and his defense to do their part.
You can't teach improvise ability. Mahomes, Arod, Burrow, Allen etc are born that way.

Finally someone said it! Dak is definitely overrated. He seems to only dominate the bad teams the Cowboys go up against and loses to the good teams, sometimes he plays good against good teams but most of the time he's mid. Mahomes, Rodgers, Allen, Burrow, Wilson, Herbert, Stafford, Jackson. Dak falls in the same category as Carr, Cousins, Tannehill, Murray, Jimmy G, and Matt Ryan.
One can argue Carr over Dak because Carr puts up similar numbers but has a significantly worse offense and is clutch in the 4th quarter. For me its 10A Carr 10B Dak

A lot of people think the Cowboys line has regressed. Well, when you have an offensive coordinator who passes 60 time a game in the shotgun formation, any offensive line will struggle. Give the Cowboys Quinton Nelson and that POS Trent Williams, with Kellen Moore, the unit still regresses. Fire Kellen, maybe move Connor Williams to tackle and move Collins to guard and that’s it, still an elite line IMO!!!

He like Baker. Outside the hashes, back shoulder fades, deep posts, post corners, he doesn’t throw these passes.

That's great, but the level of throws Prescott makes is at a level that literally every college qb, even d2 qbs can make. Modern day nfl has rules so ridiculous that it can make extremely terrible qbs put up great stats if they have a great oline, run game and receiving core.
Don't just look at the stats look at the context of those stats. Not to mention running up scoreboards vs backups week 16 and week 18.

Beating good teams guarantees nothing. Drew Brees beat good teams for 15 years and NEVER did much in the playoffs outside of 2009.
A couple of seasons ended in referees being bad. Team has been through a lot: losing coaches for full seasons and just being the saints lol. I also say this biased and butthurt as a saints fan 😂
I wouldn't say that's true because he did make it to three NFC championship games. 2006 against the Bears, 2009 against Vikings and 2019 against the Rams where they got screwed over. The dude has alot of playoff wind but had bad gameplans against those teams.

The only real problem Dak has is, holding on to the ball for too long, which leads to fumbles, and not throwing enough slants. Otherwise he is basically everything you want in a QB. If he can learn to trust his WR on quick slants and outs, he will be a top 5 qb
Dak's accuracy in big games is GOD AWFUL DUDE
Dak looked good when he had an all-star line that was untouchable. This made him and Zeke look like the best duo that has hit the league since Kurt Warner and Marshall Faulk. Then the injuries took place on the line, and Dak recieved more pressure and Zeke did not have these wide open holes to gash the defense with. If any QB and RB duo had that line they would have looked just as good. This year alone Daks number were inflated due to playing 3 pretty bad teams twice a year with arguably one of the best WR core in the leauge, and the rest of the games were against subpar defenses. At the moment they are stuck with Dak, and I would try to get another competent starter with some draft picks personally. Tony Pollard was clearly more explosive than Zeke, but Jones was adamant about these two player remaining staters juss saying.
