i agree with the timings, but somehow its shouldnt be too extreme and broadcasters should also taken into account travel , players before dates are prepared. I think players deserve to be known well beforehand venues they might play, and all teams require sufficient rest so that they can plan well.

Haddin doesnt do his research properly..Starc continues to say that the schedule was the same for all teams and it should have been more spread out at the backend..but haddin continues to repeat the same thing, which is because of his pre conceived mindset!!!
Lets leave india aside, but why did aussies loose against afg do they really deserve to be in the semi final or final.hey proud aussie brad if you can answer answer this. Just bcoz they have given enough break and they know the semi final venue that doesn't make them win the wc. To play in the venue you know for semi final you need to reach the semi final first which india did and aus has all the chances to reach the semi final bcoz In a group of two semi finalists if one knows that they will be playing in guayana then if aus reached semi final they also know the venue before hand itself right.

I like how Aussie whinge is disguised as thoughtful concerns. India played the final basically getting to Barbados the night before. The same as Australia. Every team, including India, had to compromise because of the broadcaster demands. On the preseeding, its unbelievable that these guys cant distinguish between average fans having to plan travel (flights and hotels) at the last minute vs teams who have chartered flights and everything prebooked.
Do these guys even do their research before passing judgments? Schedule at tail end of tournament wasn’t just an issue for other teams. India travelled after their final and had less than a day to recover before final so no they did not get any special easier privilege. Day game made it more difficult for them not easy. They also had to travel to US and play on those horrible surfaces which e.g. Australia didn’t. Sometimes you really wonder how difficult it is for these guys to accept they were not good enough whilst in India there are enough people trying to run down the team after each loss!
