14:40 - Pant wasn't faking it. It wasn't a tactic to break the momentum of the game..
    1. If you go back and watch the replay - in the last ball of Bumrah over, Pant takes a tumbling dive to fetch the ball thrown at the wickets.
This is probably where he hurt himself. Remember he has just come back from a massive accident, and hasn't fully recovered yet.
    2. If that was the intent/ plan he would have done it in the previous over - right after Axar got hit for 24. He didn't.
This happened after the Bumrah over. And it happened right after he took a rolling dive behind the wickets.

    @Yashu_bs 20 дней назад +6

To be honest, this was not at all a fair review of the world cup games and final. Things which I found was not an accurate and independent analysis or thinking:
    1. South Africa lost because they chocked with their mind set.
    2. India won because of the break during the last 5 overs due to a hamstring. (Even though for all we know was genuine and pant was only trying to stay out in the game)
    3. There was not even a small discussion about what else might be the factors or causes for India to win or for SA to lose.
    4. The talk was more about hardik pandya controversy and how India ended up winning inspite of it. (That's not the entire story)
    5. Australia had the worst schedule. (Probably they did have a worse schedule than India but India also had to play 2 games one after the other with only a night between them. Every country had one or 2 games with no rest)
    6. Alessa haley was not happy with Indian women's having played and won the test match against SA in India. First there were all these talk about women's team not playing test cricket but when they do get to play, she complaints that India set it up just to win it. Is it because she see's SA women's team incapable of playing tests?
I just think that all three were jealous the whole time up until they started to talking about England cricket.

The Indian Team is yet to lose a Test Series to Aussie since the last 8 years, Are Multiple time White ball WC Champions(Just 3 ICC trophy less than the Aussies), and also frequently beats them in the league matches of ICC tournaments, Its just the pressure and expectations of 1.4 billion people in knockout games which hampers the Indian team's performances.

In the IPL , You have to bowl all the overs of an innings in a specific time limit but in the world cup there was no such rule , the rule in the world cup was bowling side has to choose which bowler has to bowl the next over within 60 seconds of the previous over finishing

Australian women's captain will understand the men's team when she plays this year at Bangladesh t20wc
I guess our women's team getting stronger I won't say that they are better than Australia but they are at top 3 now
Women's WC in bangladesh will be super exciting this time
Let's see Australia how they play india this time
Wpl will helps for sure to pick up that 15 members
Perry is the golden arm for Aussie team I hope soon india gets allrounder like Perry she is just crazy because of her RCB won this year tournament much consistency like Virat Kohli goats at the game
I realised now that english media and Australian media are same I thought Australian media will make videos when india lift the wc last week
But I realised they are english people so they don't like subcontinent teams winning tournaments
Don't worry from now india won't choke at knockouts against Australia that's for sure
Virat in australia in December most exciting battle against sledgging Aussie
    Now 1) australia 2)india3) England
Soon india will go up and remove the arrogance of Aussie captains

    1. You know about Pant's injury, so it was not necessarily a strategic break.
    2. India still ahead of over rate when the game ended.
So with all due respect Mrs. Starc, your logic doesn't simply stand.

India played in NY without complaining even though its a tough pitch they've gone undefeated but these Australians always been a cry baby with alot of attitudes which cause them this series you guys cant even get into semis but india is the only team in the history whos gone undefeated on the entire tournament by lifting the trophy arguably one of the best team in the T20...The difference between india and Australians are india players played like a team with a dedication with a zero attitude even after winning we were appreciating SA for their great game our players got emotional ❤
SA players didnt even complain they were so gentle thats a game spirit...Australians always showed their attitude and ego which is why they didnt even qualify for semis so try to devlop a talent instead of complaining and crying...Anyways we are the undefeated world champions 🏆 🇮🇳 ..World cup winning captain Rohit sharma

9:15 we don't boo in Australia. Just abuse opposition teams and call them wankers or knobheads.
12:00 if a delay in play won teams matches, that would have been a winning formula for every crunch match. Also how could that be a tactic? And if it was why was the tactic before the Pandya over vs the bumrah over.
14:00 Alysa saying change the keeper. That would take more time.
15:00 teams don't get a dollar fine for slow over rates. It's diff fielding restrictions for the last overs. Alysa doesn't even know the rules.
21:00 seeding cooked Australia. Nope I think the two losses cooked them. Poor fielding and bad tactics cooked them.
22:45 all of India's games were day games and they just played afg in a night game. And won that one. So that argument falls thru.
44:39 Whats the point of the India vs SA test. I distinctly remember her comments during the sa vs aus test in Feb about how great the aus team was. Why the double standards?
48:00 about the Bairstow run out and the Aussies talking about the spirit of cricket, there was definitely a lack of spirit and something the Aussies wouldn't do, run out at the bowlers end cos it's the law but not in the spirit. This was against the spirit of cricket but in the law. Again why the double standards
Also what's the world coming to when Brad Haddin is the voice of reason lol.

Alyssa Healy is a chip of her uncle who was one of the most bias anti Indian commentators during his time at channel 9. In his defence, he did become more balance later on.
Pretty much nothing she said about India in this podcast was correct except supporting Hardik when he was getting booed.

I am 23yo currently and I've been watching cricket since I was 9 years old, however didn't watch much between 2018-2024 ( only watched world cup matches semis finals or india pak matches ). I am a really great admirer of Australian team, english team , watching even highlights of old Ashes match or any match between 2000-2010 gives me nostalgia. It was evident in New York as well where they played for the first time in the history. Back in home people with daily 9 to 6 jobs are satisfied with highlights without any complaints.
