Was gonna say the same about that show intro & set opening song. Came out swinging, and sounding as good as ever. I’ve never seen them live, but this is the next best thing.🤘🏻
@cleech74 Exactly. If you get the chance to see them live then I would recommend it. Anthrax have got some absolutely killer metal riffs and there is an element of fun about them. They deserve more credit than they actually get.
@61yrs of age I was there too...Loved kreators set. Never seen anthrax till now, they were really good. Testament were Testament and still do what they always have done, altogether a fucking great night.
Been a fan since Fistful of Metal ,when Among The Living was released I became a bigger fan, pure thrash at it's finest, seen them once opening for Iron Maiden in Halifax,Nova Scotia 🇨🇦 Persistence of Time tour another fine album a more mature Anthrax ..55 and still ❤ my old school thrash metal..👊💀👊
Been seeing Anthrax with Neil Turbin in the band from day one & Joey sounds killer to this day!! Wish Lilker was doing more shows with them Always. Kills.. this sounds great
I saw Anthrax here (this is Hammersmith Odeon, folks, no matter what the fucking sponsors call it) in Jan 1989, supported by Living Colour. It was SO good, I came back the next night and pleaded with a tout for a face value ticket. And won. Great days. For me as a 52 yr old, I'm the Man doesn't stand up now, but at the time, it totally changed the way so many of us suburban white boys looked at music, black music in particular. And pop culture, cartoons, skating . Total Game changers. (They can take the seats out now?!)
I saw them 37ish years ago too at The Forum in Kentish Town with Living Colour supporting! Can't tell you how epic it is to be seeing them again with my 18 year old son who's mad into them!
Anyone know why they didn't play anything from For All Kings this time around? To me the best album since Persistence of Time. Not that I was disappointed - been a fan since 1989, just saw them live in Frankfurt and am so glad I did, best concert I've been to..
Too bad Dan Spitz is not with them he was such a magical part of that band .....a huge fan of spreading the disease among the living state of euphoria killer b's EP I'm the Man EP and Persistence of time. Shut up Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley
Can someone give me some info on The Shining V Ian is rocking. It almost looks like it says Gibson on the headstock, but I can't tell. He brings it out at the 41 minute mark for Metal Thrashing Mad.
These guys are SOOOOO underated! Its sad, Charlie is probably the best thrash drummer out there! Well it could be a toss up between him and Dave Lombardo.
One of the greatest heavy metal vocalist to ever grace us and he doesn't get the respect he deserves but he should and that is Joey Belladonna he is the metal thrashing mad frontman........Charlie benante and Frank Bello Easley one of the baddest Rhythm sections in metal. Steve Harris Cliff Burton Frank Bello Dave Effelson are the 4 baddest bass players of metal ever. But in my mind I've always thought Frank Bello was the most like Steve Harris out of all three of those bass players and he's every bit as good or better than cliff or Dave.
Scott used to shave not in his chest cuz he was the not man the little cartoon character from all their shirts in other merchandise is Scott The Not Ian.
Their overall energy seems to have waned some. More than others in their genre anyways. That was a pretty wicked montage at the start, and worth stopping in at this vid. Not likely to watch the concert though.
I'm 51 and have been a fan of anthrax since i was a kid!!! Rock on 🤘!!
It started back in high school
So cool, king of the scene
Same here, I’m 59!
When Fistful was released, just WOW!
I'm 51! Awesome band
53 year old fan! ❤❤❤😊😊😊
51 here also. Be 52 too soon. We used to have such a good time late 8O’s.
Grazie per aver regalato la vostra musica al mio cuore. 🤟🏻💪🏻👍🏻💯🎸
They're the best. I've seen them at least 25 times. Been a fan since the beginning. Old Bridge Metal Militia !!
Wow!!!Absolutely awesome they sound great .Joey is amazing 👏

That intro was sooooo badass! Love it, love Anthrax. You haven't lived until you've seen Anthrax live!

Joey Belladonna is singing better than ever! Great sound! Long live Anthrax🤘😍🤘
@61yrs of age I was there too...Loved kreators set. Never seen anthrax till now, they were really good. Testament were Testament and still do what they always have done, altogether a fucking great night.
I saw Anthrax in the late 80’s at St George’s Hall Bradford. My ears are still ringing 😁✊
Damn they sound great!!! Long live metal!!!!!
Glad to have seen them in the 80’s-90’s. I need to see them again.

Always. Kills..
this sounds great
Saw them live in January 2024 and loved every minute of it. They are great live!! Hope they make it 40 more:)
So really really great video live ! Thanks for sharing !
Loved the nod to Potter's Field! And closing the set with Gung Ho is just FIRE

I was listening anthrax since 1990
Im 54 and I know Anthrax when was a kid me too. Yeah!!! RnR forever! ❤
What an awesome intro - stick to what you love and people will come to you - That's Anthrax , been a fan since Spreading the Disease
La mejor y desmadrosa banda 🤘🏾😖🤘🏾🤯🤯🤯
57. Been listening to Anthrax since I was poopin green!
Brilliant camera work. TONS of crowd ACTION!
Fantastic opening to a show 🔥
Brillant night me and my son was there saw them there myself 37yrs ago same place same groups (apart from kreator).
That will have been the Among the Living tour - I saw them in Bradford on that tour
I saw them 37ish years ago too at The Forum in Kentish Town with Living Colour supporting! Can't tell you how epic it is to be seeing them again with my 18 year old son who's mad into them!
Minus Dan Spitz😢
Coma of Souls and extreme aggression two great albums from kreator especially extreme aggression........
Saw them at The Clash of the Titans at Deer Creek and with The Misfits and Cannibal Corpse in Indy. 2 of the best shows EVER!!!!!
My fave of the big four, personally. They aged well
Loving re watching this!!!
Found my lot in the Pit straight away!
🤘🏻😂🍻
Yeah, I'm somewhere down the near the front too 😂😂🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dan Spitz was the man. I'm 51 and they still got it.
43 years and still kicking ass 🤘🤘
Joey B is the one and only 🎙️Anthrax vocalist… the setlist is fucking amazing 🤘
John Bush is a far, FAR better vocalist than Joey.
@@Serial667-ht1kq but is 100% Armored Saint....not ANTHRAX
@@georgiparushev5710 far better than Belladonna when he WAS in Anthrax. Seen them with both vocalists and Bush was superior in every possible way.
My first live show with Maiden in '91...legends :)
80's Mosh for life
To me Joey IS the voice of Anthrax. He can be a little hit or miss live sometimes but he's hitting it hard in this video.
What a great show. I hope you’re coming back to LA soon.
Anyone know why they didn't play anything from For All Kings this time around? To me the best album since Persistence of Time. Not that I was disappointed - been a fan since 1989, just saw them live in Frankfurt and am so glad I did, best concert I've been to..
Same set list for so long……
Testament got a Great one on this tour!
Exactly. Anthrax relies so much on the old reliable classics but I wish they'd throw in deep cuts because damn they've got great songs
Exactly what I was thinking
Nice, Gung ho encore! I only missed Medusa. Perfect setup.
I saw them in El Paso on the "Clash of the Titans" tour with Megadeth & Slayer
Charlie still kickin ass on drums..
Too bad Dan Spitz is not with them he was such a magical part of that band .....a huge fan of spreading the disease among the living state of euphoria killer b's EP I'm the Man EP and Persistence of time. Shut up Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley
Cultural icons of feelgood Thrash, they reanimate the dead 🎱♠️☠🎸🎧
It didn't look to me that Frank Bello was playing on Caught it a mosh. He was fist pumping a lot during the performance 😕
Fooled me. I thought they were gonna play all of Potter's Field. The intro was such a tease!
🔥🔥🔥
Saw them 1987 in Donnington ( with Metallica, WASP) . Good old times...
Yeah ok
Can someone give me some info on The Shining V Ian is rocking. It almost looks like it says Gibson on the headstock, but I can't tell. He brings it out at the 41 minute mark for Metal Thrashing Mad.
He’s been playing Jackson’s.
Very cool intro!👌🏼
Nothing from 4 all kings?!🤔
A Killer Album..!
Amazing intro
dUg surprised me
Not enough props for Jon Donais on lead. The guy is a beast!!! Shadows Fall!!!! Anthrax!!!!
Joe is still the best Anthrax vocalist
These guys are SOOOOO underated! Its sad, Charlie is probably the best thrash drummer out there! Well it could be a toss up between him and Dave Lombardo.

Don‘t forget the guy from Exodus on Bass 🤘
lol Turn it Charlie!
🤘🏿👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻👻🤘🏿 w 💯 ogień zajebisty świetny Thrash Metal super
Among the living follow me or die......... Stormtroopers of death........NOT!!!!
Si only belladona Ian and Lombardo are from original lineup!?? Who r the others ?
Come back Spitz!!
He's too busy making watches.
Saw anthrax at sturgis rally they ruled
My eye sight is terrible,I couldn't make out who was playing the drums, it sounded like Charlie, but a few areas weren't the usual Charlie style.
@aboutthemetal8783 I love that your ears can pick up drumming styles! I believe the drummer here is Charlie Benante
Pretty sure its chalzie on the whole tour and he was defo in dublin🎉
Charlie played the whole tour.
I was wondering what the Hell the "Eventim Apollo" was.
Congrats on your 666 suscribers ;-) .... What a night! Did you record the 2 other acts?
😂 Cheers! I did
Wow Anthrax..the best band..number one 🤟🤟🤟✋️✋️🍸🍸⚡️⚡️
I was trippin that they started playing potters field, then realized they werent.
Why is Dan wearing Frankie's cut off
That IS Frank.
Dan is NO LONGER in the band, he is concentrating on making watches. -presently.
Set list…?
86 supporting Metallica. I saw that tour. Not there but that tour.
Scott used to shave not in his chest cuz he was the not man the little cartoon character from all their shirts in other merchandise is Scott The Not Ian.
Great, but no.1 tip for posting concerts: ALWAYS provide a timestamped list of the songs - you'll get more likes. 👍
I was waiting for a big giant kianu reaves to take a stage dive. That would of been cool. But i guess he would of messed up his hair😢
Hahahaha the gene simmons boo🤣🤣🤣
Chaim Witz is boo worthy…but Gene Simmons is a Great musician ❤
@@MeTeddyCa yeah if you're into root note riding in the pocket bass player who add NOThing to the initial band's sound.
What a fuckin' opening screen!
They actually have a decent setlist lol
SHOW DEMOLEDOR DE LOS Anthrax.
Glad they're finally giving Spreading a little more respect in the set list.......now drop Antisocial.
It's been more than two weeks since the elections at this point, and Stephen King is still rockin' his Kamala Harris t-shirt... 🙄
They have hardcore punk spirits.
Is that Benante❓
Yeap
Did they just get a fan from the audience to sing?!?!?
Shit I just missed anthrax in London?????? Nooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!
Me too.
ANTHRAX ANTHRAX ANTHRAX
Oh and John Bush > Joey Belladonna
Thanks for sharing.... Whats the first song called as the curtain dropped?
A.I.R is the song I think
They're playing the intro to Potter's Field from Sound of White Noise behind the curtain, then go into A.I.R. after it drops.
Make America Great Again
Anthrax rules!!!
SO they thought getting an endorsment from Idiiot Stephen King with a Kalama short was a good thing. Well they just lost me.
😂 yeah, some of those recommendations were a touch ‘off’ 🫠
Who or what is Kalama? Amazing how something as little as a shirt could piss someone off that much.
I may be alone on this one but I'm not a fan of the over produced light shows these days.
they booed gene simons hahahaha
They’ve been playing the same fucking set for years.
not one bush song , bell end cant sing them
They played "Only" when I saw then a couple years ago.
What's a bell end?
Because they're not his songs, and Bush isn't in the band anymore. He could hardly sing Joey's songs either.
Everybody except Tom Morello and Henry Rollins, please God get those two off of there.
Most persons on the intro should be in resting home already 😢 how time flylies by
Man, ditch the stage curtain. Unnecessary!
Where is miss Bush when u sold out...
Stephen king wearing a kamala shirt is deplorable
Tell that to his face.
@geise69 ok. I would if I could. Is he scary or something?
Who is more unhinged? Rob “Meathead” Reiner? Or King?🤣🤣. Both 🤡🤡’s. I’m going with Meathead. He checked himself into the looney bin for a few days.
They were better with John. I can't get into them with Joey.
Get Tom Morello and Henry Rollins off of there.
Their overall energy seems to have waned some. More than others in their genre anyways. That was a pretty wicked montage at the start, and worth stopping in at this vid. Not likely to watch the concert though.
wtf? why did you put shit quality staff in?
