As a mexican buddhist who loves spicy food, admiring temples/ gompa beauty I want to be able to visit Bhutan! Thanks Juanpa for sharing the beauty of this country through this video
This video made me so happy! Videos like this remind me how simple we are as humans. We laugh when others laugh. We cheer when others succeed. We all love to teach things that are important to us
@@NatGeo Probably the entire moment that he has to experience the Bhutan culture and have a wonderful time together with the locals. I love documentaries like this that shares the culture that a very few of us experience nowadays.
I have just used it for a class with my children, we discussed what we share in common between an African culture and Bhutan. It's sad we are loosing our own at the expense of modernization.
@Juanpa this is great have learnt that in Africa especially my tribe we shared a lot with Butan but it's 😢 sad because the modernization is making us forget our culture.
Juanpa I’m mexican too and it was fun to see a mexican in Bhutan! I’ve only known Bhutan throught the stories from my buddhist teacher who is bhutanese and speak spanish!! I want to do rafting and then visit a temple and finally try my luck at the archery! Tashi delek. Viva Bhutan
My wife from Puebla and I booked a trip to Bhutan for later this year. Will let you know if you got the NG experience or if that's how Bhutan is. I believe this is a gem of a country that needs to be preserved.
Hey do you have à social média where i can see your trip. I I'm very interested about this country and it will be good to have a point of view of someone and not the point of view of a organisation. Thanks
@23:58...you are so humble and you can see it in your reaction. First time seeing your program and I loved how you are so personable. Looking forward to watching more episodes!
Wow Eva, I can't believe you watched and commented on Bhutan. I follow you, enjoy and watched most of your vlogs. Would love to welcome you to our beautiful country Bhutan
I thought this episode was so beautiful. The young lad made it exciting. I shed a few tears for him. I was touched by the elders. I would love to travel here. I could imagine the cost.
This is great. we stayed at the Mendegang Homestay in April 2024 and it was incredible. The temple inside is beautiful, the food was amazing and all locally grown and the hospitality. We actually stayed in theat same room!!
Juanpa Zurita , Your documentary was an eye opener to the World beyond our comfort zone. Your reporting style is engaging and legendary. Would love to see more!
Even though bhutan is one of the poorest countries in the world. It being the happiest shows that happiness is a choice that one can choose in any condition they are.

Thank you so much for the efforts to make this one of a kind video and especially because most of the videos online about Bhutan don't do justice in showing the real part of our country and the beauty of it, even I felt the sense of my country's beautifully preserved nature and that's through a screen haha
I felt I was doing that trip with you. Your joy was genuine and contagious. You have what it takes to make more videos like this. I will definetely be checking your youtube channel as well.

From cooking with the locals to attempting archery, what part of the episode was your favorite?
