Its time next for the song, i like to call the song of 1000 transitions.. better known as Kingdom of heaven part 3..
Bands have definitely replicated this a thousand times over. Well, it's more like Epica replicated them, because many bands in symphonic metal are older than Epica, but with less success. Some have tried to replicate this, but's not like anyone can be as good as Epica and Nightwish. It's all out there, just give it a listen. Within Temptation, Xandria, Sirenia, After Forever, Therion, Penumbra, Delain, Kamelot (well, kinda, Kamelot is more like Power Metal and a male vocalist)... they are all solid bands in their own right. Epica is just unique though.

hi, and now imagine hearing this live, Epica played this in their 20th anniversary concert, without the gymnastics wheel, but with a part of the children's choir, I think there were about 10 children. I had goose bumps all over my body back then
Epica released the album Omega early 2021. Because of covid-19, concerts were impossible. Thus, Epica organized a livestreaming event, Omega Alive. Note how everyone keeps a safe distance of about seven feet from everyone else. For children there was an exception to that rule.
Great Epica reaction Aimee 🤘🏻 Not only is Epica my favorite symphonic metal band, Epica is my fav band overall ever. They and Within Temptation set the high bar for Pandemic virtual concert done right hands down. I agree with a lot of the recommendations here on kingdom of heaven part three but I would recommend dear lady doing kingdom of heaven part one from this concert part one first. Now they’re both SO GOOD Magnum opus songs long and heavy and complex so be prepared when you do! I’m already a subscriber I would do another if I could but yeah let’s get to 10,000!

Another great reaction! On your own you should also checkout the official music video for The Skelton Key. The visuals are pretty amazing and SImone's outfit's are gorgeous. Fun fact, the keyboardist's daughter is one of the kids in the choir. They also had the kids on stage for this song during their 20th anniversary concert. I love how prominent choir's are in Epica's music. Makes everything grandeur. Next I would vote for Unchain Utopia (ruclips.net/video/c8XdrOhEZl0/видео.htmlsi=HHBQ_Osmw75A8SO6) or Kingdom of Heaven Part 3 (ruclips.net/video/BdBCVMD8TiM/видео.htmlsi=zuH5km5PzkVcOrDd) from the same Omega Alive show. I consider Kingdom of Heaven Paart 3 to be their Magnus Opus and it also has some pretty sick baselines in it. The bassist, Rob van der Loo, plays a Dingwall custom bass with graphics from the Hellboy comic.

So pastor Amie you just witnessed wintersun and nightwishs sister band epica. You said what kind of music this is ? You should know by now it's called symphonic metal which is still new to you we understand. And you also witnessed one of the most beautiful redheads in music Simone Simmons with beautiful operatic vocals in this song. And after you watching this you mentioned this was your love music which looks like you need a cigarette afterwards because you were having eargasms lol. But we don't blame for loving great symphonic metal like this. And this made my day considering here in my town in Texas we just had a hurricane this week and I volunteered to help with storm cleaning up the debris and passing out water and food to people that lost their homes too. But thank you Amie from me and the volunteers who are epica nightwish wintersun and ensiferum fans that watch your channel. Wintersun Alex in Texas ❄️👋❤️

I went to Epica and Sabaton concert in October 2022 in Cincinnati I’ve been to so many concerts in my 64 years of life and I can tell you hands-down that’s the best one I’ve ever been tozzonly possibly equaled by the within temptation concert an iron maiden I went to the same year. Epica rules though geez!

One addendum here Amie, when you do get around to reacting to the kingdom of heaven trilogy or at least part one and part three I highly recommend doing them from this pandemic show. There is a popular part one years back from the zenith in Paris but due to technical issues it is over dubbed with the song from the album it’s not true live. Plus the sound quality from this virtual concert is superior. Just my two cents as a longtime Epica devotee.
Huh. I didn't know there was a video from Paris. The Mexico show was recommended to me and that one is fantastic, whoever cut it together is very talented.
