Customization was pretty damn OP in this game, I want it back 🥺
It was the best by far.
Yeah, for example, Upper Body is divided into inner and outer, there's also both Upper & Lower Body together, there's also "Other - Upper/Lower Body".
Not only that tho but the outfits are different for every character and they have outfits that suit them perfectly. Unlike TTT2 and T7, all the outfits are the same which is a shame.
Yep, imagine a game this old having better than the later 2... It all went downhill from there
Was it insanely frustrating for anyone else, getting enough fight money to properly enjoy the customization though? I remember in the scenario campaign how it forced me and Alisa to wear the most goofy set of items in order to excel in anything at all.
@@Beforezzz Items were too expensive. You had to grind a lot in scenario campaign if you wanted all the items for just one character. The mokujin stage gave you most fight money.
It feels good to know that 11 years later and people still play this game. I know I still do lmfaooooo

Trust me, it wasn't that bad. If you needed money, it was either grinding on Ghost mode or Scenario. It was hard, but the dialogue was pretty interesting, at least it give insight on each of the Tekken character's personalities. It's pretty underrated to me.

Always thought Kazuya looked much better here. I see alot of comments praising the game which surprises me. This is when the general aesthetic of Tekken really started plummeting through a downward spiral imo. Heavy mixed feelings overall. I like that tmm came back to it's multiplayer after watching his revisited video on Kazuya.
They got extremely bulky with weird hands and head proportions. T5 and TTT1 was peak aesthetic

i know you probly dont care but when kazuya hit lars , lars was rising so the game didnt calculate his hit box right so he got hit in the head. and the launch is probly from the game being confused beacuse he got hit by an attack in the back of the head so gave him the launching propertys of getting hit normaly.

How come Tekken 6 was never officially released on PC? Street Fighter 4 came out the same year and sold well on PC.
The idea of fighting games being released on PCs was still fresh.
Started by SF4, followed by MK9 in 2011.
Before that they have always been console exclusive, probably because PC players used Keyboards while fighting games required pads and sticks.

Man I wish I had the Tekken skills I have now back then. My execution is far better than it ever was back then but I want to use it in a more fun Tekken game (not that 6 was amazing -- it was pretty so-so -- but I like it more than 7).

@@ossessionw 99% of t7 stages have dubstep music, its unacceptable, all previous tekken games had diversity in music genres
@@clavicusvile1328 yeah but you can change the music for the stages and put other themes from the game on them, and those definitely are not bad. Plus, that's just the Tekken 7 aesthetic at this point I guess, you can like it or dislike it but T7 music is generally considered pretty decent

Without the Tekken Jukebox feature in the PS4 version i wouldn't have bought T7.
Music in T7 is atrocious and i think Harada knew that and that's why he added the Jukebox.

Yepp more damage but you really felt the damage here, getting launched while your opponent is on rage was more damaging than nowadays rage arts.
The damage boost from rage in T7 is toned down.

Ps3 emulators wouldn't run so smoothly, it's probably PS3 itself or PC, if the game realeased on it

TMM is using Rpcs3 Emulator and it doesn't even need a very strong pc to run Tekken 6 perfectly atm.

The character models in TEKKEN 6 look more realistic and have better skin textures than the wax figures in TEKKEN 7
TEKKEN 7 was a massive disappointment to me and the character models looked dated even before it was released imo.
Akuma is now apart part of the Mishima saga since when!? What previous installment ever hinted towards this shit?
Harada butchered the lore and the universe because of that goofy-ass decision and the game's awful story mode.
The only negative thing about TEKKEN 6 was the awful net code and that you couldn't rank past 1st Dan offline.
Ultra realistic? You're free to feel that way but i think you're tripping lmao. The modeling and lighting in this game was mediocre even at the time of release and it was held back by its own resolution
