Dude I just went to an arcade and beat tekken 1 and it's crazy how important this move is.
The Mishima family feels like something is missing if they don't do this move in all the Tekken game series, including combos... Mishima's characteristic
@@AbdyRawrShame it's such a headache to perform, and people thought Shoryukens were hard to do.
@@Vespyr_it's easier than it looks, it just takes some practice since the input needs to be pretty fast. Also if I recall, Shoryuken has the same input:
Right, short pause/neutral direction, down, down+right, right punch
@@Pol74698they have a similar input, but the Tekken input is much more precise especially when doing the electric, whereas in street fighter you can either mash it out or cancel into it after a hit
@@Pol74698It's definitely NOT easier than it looks. The shoryuken input can be performed even just by doing double quarter circle forwards. While electric input is FRAME PERFECT.
Tekken 4 is when the DORYA starts to sound right ;) Tekken 5 is when it starts to FEEL right

Im not sure what people thought of the electric sound of ewgf in tk8. I just like the crisp sound of the electric from tk6 until tk7 hopefully there is a mod for it
fr like it's been the iconic electric sound since 6. my ear is still getting used to to the new sound of ewgf lol it's weird for me.
Seems like they perfect the thing then change it for change sake. T4 perfect Dorya, T6 - 7 perfect electric sound but different Dorya, nowT8 with T6/7 Dorya and different electric. Leave it alone bamco jesus.
