The Discover was better at noise suppression, audio playback on the MPOW is better, but I don't need it for music, I have the XM3 series Headphones and earbuds for music podcasts movies etc. I just need an affordable wired (for stable connection) headset because I need to do Teams meetings a lot and the the Sony's are great for noise cancelled on the ear but it is not so good at noise cancelling at the MIC. Discover is looking like a great affordable option considering I won't be reimbursed and have to purchase at my cost for company use.
Based on this test I'd probably choose the Discover. Mic sounded about the same but the noise reduction was better with the Discover. I would give a slight edge to the MPow for the speakers but I wouldn't be buying this to play music. I also like the Discover's microphone much better than the MPow. You also said that the Discover is more comfortable, and my ears are very sensitive to uncomfortable headsets. You didn't give the price range but I would probably pay more for the Discover. It seems to meet my needs more. Thank you for the test.

What I was after is how the noise suppression work for YOU as the person with those headphones on? Not just what the recorded sound is like through the mic, but do the headsets actually cut off any of that 80db noise for you as an operator? Thank you
Great point. The headsets definitely cut out some of the noise but with that level of noise, it's still going to be pretty noisy. You'd want something more heavy duty like the options below. Option 1 headsetadvisor.com/products/jabra-evolve2-85-black-28599-989-888 Option 2 headsetadvisor.com/products/orosound-tilde-pro-premium-bluetooth-headset-with-anc-and-excellent-noise-cancelling-microphone
@@HeadsetAdvisor Thank you so much for your reply, I did sub while I was looking, as I really liked how informative your reviews are. I've ended up ordering a gaming headset (Razer) as more suited to my all day work/entertainment time in front of the PC. At the moment not very happy with my Bluedio T5S. :)

@@HeadsetAdvisor I got the wireless HC5 plus, sound (music) isn't that good compared to my Logitech H390, and don't press on my head as much. Did not compare the mic.

Is the mic windscreen for Discover D312U an add-on?
The D312U doesn't offer a windscreen at this time but you could always purchase one somewhere online that could work.

That Discover is better in both noise reduction and production of your voice.
And dang.. you remind me of 5 letters in the alphabet: U R A Q T! 🤭😂
