Dartmouth Steam Railway / South Devon Railway

While in Paignton for a few days a chance to visit Dartmouth steam railway & river cruise, also the South Devon railway, both where equally fantastic in tropical like weather, we did another bucket list to do by walking the new sea wall at Dawlish, a truly fantastic feat of egineering and a god send to the town i'm sure.

Another great video Mal. Especially pleased to see 1369 in action at Totnes Riverside. Last saw that loco in BR days in 1962 when it was on shunting duties at Laira MPD in Plymouth. Many thanks

Hello Mal, a very nice trip by steam and ship that you made there. Great steam locomotives, especially the saddle tank locomotive was interesting, I always thought they only exist in the USA. Hi Phil, thanks mate, yes two smashing heritage railways and the boat ride up the River Dart was great too, the walk on the new Dawlish sea wall was something i wanted to do for ages so that box is ticked now lol
