Lift 109 - Battersey Power Station

Some great traction through Doncaster, think the 91's where breedeing there on this day, just seemed to be one after the other, we even got a ride to York on 91124 we wasn't expecting after a signal problem caused us to divert from Leeds so that made the day even better. 04.10.24 A first visit for us to Mid Hant's Railway (Watercress Line) and what a fantastic heritage line it is, we was dead lucky to get smashing weather for October, the highlight for me was the Ropley shed tour, to see 35005 "Canadian Pacific" nearing completion of its 16 year overhaul was just magic to me so can't wait for Feb 2025 when it's hoped to run in steam again. Tangmere / Carnforth / Flash Flood

27.07.24 A few fun hours at Carnforth station with a very late departing Northern Belle tour to Carlisle, Tangmere looked fantastic leaving in a cloud of steam, a bit of extra fun when the underpass flooded trapping many on the wrong platform but the fire service came to pump it out and saved the day. Hello, a fantastic steam locomotive video, a very beautiful locomotive, No. 506. But the 6695, 4144, 34072 and the 41312 also make a very good impression. The visit to the locomotive workshop with the many locomotives that are being worked on was great.
