For 11 minutes I watched two bobbleheads and Interpol :)
I saw Interpol live around 2012, quite possibly the best show I've ever been to. Their live dynamic is something you won't soon forget.

he may have screamed a bit in Get The Girls
But in 1997 to 1998 he was the singer and Paul doesn't join
In 1998 he was frustrated that he cannot sing so he quit and join and sing.

Have you ever played Rock Band 2? This song is on it, and I used to play guitar and sing in that game. If get n near 100%on both. It's so fun to play.
Hey a comment 1 year later! Interpol is great live. They do play "tight" which can be good depending on your perspective. Sometimes I wish they'd loosen up a bit though, and throw the audience a curve. Maybe extend out the instrumental parts or something. Like the drum intro in this video.
Love the early stuff best, Slow Hands, Evil, Obstacle 1. Particularly like their powerfully thrumming guitar sound matched with Paul Banks's vocals, which sound like he's channelling Ian Curtis from Joy Division (who greatly inspired them)
Paul has said on multiple counts that he never really listened to joy Division
@@mannymelo949 That's true, they've done their damned best to distance themselves from that comparison but have also acknowledged their NW Britain influences like Echo & the Bunnymen, The Smiths, Chameleons etc. It's only my opinion but it's hard to imagine Joy Division wasn't one of them

Them live is great there great 👍 musicly the group was a great show
Interpol is an international association of different police forces. They are currently situated in France. I've heard they are badly funded these days 😆
Personally, I've found the band Interpol always a bit too dry/monotone for my tastes. But that comes with those post-punk revival bands. Some work better than others for me.
