"There is no art without transformation..." - Robert Bresson
It's been forever since I have last posted anything. My PC is broken down and I had to use my laptop to edit this. Took me awhile, but I did my best with whatever I had on the laptop. In one/two weeks I'll get replacement parts for my PC and roll on a new page for our channel!
With this I just want to show you what I love about cinema in general. I just wanted to combine my favourite directors speaking about art, our place in this world and cinema. I hope you'll love it.

This should be played at the start of this year’s Academy Awards. The psychological depths of art is so complex; mixing beauty and chaos at once. This edit demonstrates how much more expanded my love for film has become and how eager I am in watching the more classic films that came before my time. I crave to understand more of what makes cinema, cinema.
How oddly motivational this was too! Many of us (like myself) that want to fulfill a dream go on and wait for it to happen instead of getting off their asses and making it happen. Procrastination is a killer of art and a poison to the soul of an artist. This video motivates me to push onwards not only in editing, but in the entire process of filmmaking. Thank you David.
Heroes Fan Productions I’m a huge nerd about cinema too!
Academy Awards today almost has nothing to do with art. Only few nominated films have art value.
I've just discovered the art of Résultats de recherche
Andreï Tarkovski, Wong Kar-Wai, Zhang Yimou, Jia Zhangke...
My favorites are : Truffaut, Polanski, Kurosawa, Bergman.
Give them a try! :-)
I agree with your opinion on procrastination.
The Academy Awards don't deserve it
TheGaroStudios is literally the only RUclipsr where I stop everything I'm doing to watch their newest video.
TheGaroStudios is the only youtuber I wait and leave the toilet to make sure I can watch their videos on a bigger screen and with better sound.
And it's fuckin' worth it.
does anybody know the movie at 1:36?
and yes, this is beautiful.
U shud then watch the channel ' cinema beyond entertainment'.

"There is no art without transformation." With every masterpiece video, you help the viewer transform into a truer version of themselves, more connected to humanity, so we can begin to face: "Why does man exist?". An overwhelming question only bearable thanks to profound art like yours.
You’re the best! This is not just an edit, this is some kind of art.
3 Things:
I just wanted to say a huge thank from me for all you did when I was younger. I was taken away from my mother in the middle of the night when I was 9 and into a foster home in a horrible area with people who were awful to me. I wasn't allowed the internet so all I had was the audio from the Doctor Who videos you made that I downloaded onto my laptop. Every single day without fail I'd listen to those audio files and cry and laugh and feel inspired. I'd recite every line from each video by heart as the file would play, remembering the visual that came with it that you edited. In a notebook, I wrote down every line. When my social worker came to visit me I'd quote the lines to her, imagining the music you chose (especially Sleeping at Last) playing in the background because of the words from Doctor Who that you chose could better get the feeling I had across, the pain and loneliness. I felt so alone during that time and you brought so much happiness and hope into my life without even knowing about it. Thank you so much, I love your videos, I love your style. You've really inspired me. Thank you.
How do you download the clips from the films?!? I've been dying to know since I first saw your channel when I was 8 years old, a massive doctor who fan, sitting in my room watching your videos in 2015.
Please will you watch The Phantom Thread if you haven't already done so I'd really like to know what you think?

Так обалдела почему-то, скорее всего с непривычки, услышав русский. А кино это вообще и правда одна из прекрасных и удивительных вещей.

Can ya give me the yt link of his interview
The great thing about cinema is that it's an amalgamation of all other art forms; music, image, choreography, writing, etc. All at once. And to know cinema, is to know the world. And how we as humans interact with the world. Cinema gives us a third eye to see things in a different perspective.
Yes but lowered.
Film music is a worst inferior versión of classical music, the writing is always simpler and much less poetic and shorter than literature.
The cinemátic visual aspect is a lowered versión of classical paintings.
The other Art forms are much more profound, spiritual, and sincere, in my opinion.

Theres this indescribable feeling of excitement and pride of having watched every single movie in this video.
I couldn’t click fast enough. You are truly an artist and have a great understanding and appreciation for the medium.
Ps: it would be such a delight if you ever did a 2001 video or maybe an overall Kubrick tribute.
The opening quote really got me, this is many masterpieces upon many other masterpieces sewn together to create something that resonates. This will also be on repeat for the next month :)
I discovered this video two weeks back and I have been watching it every single day since then.
This made my morning, amazing tribute to the art of cinema.
It was excellent! Mind checking out my Art of expression video? Would mean a lot!!
How you can make something so beautiful and it only last for 3 minutes blows my mind. Bravo man, bravo.
I've watched this video everyday for the past month lol. No joke either. This and The Art of Acting. Garo, you are incredible. Never stop doing what you do.
GaroStudios is just a mastermind for making those shorts edit.
It has a message but also hidden messages
It is better than any trailer you can find on RUclips and I count the big company
The music is perfectly combined with the pictures and God knows music is important to create feelings
I didn't want this video to stop. Such a beautiful, unwasted, 2min and 50 seconds of life.

Garos, the Academy needs to hire you to do those gorgeous movie tributes/compilations they play at the Oscars because yours are gorgeous and even better than theirs. (*stares in awe*)
The simplicity of this makes it so perfect. I love how the narration just speaks on another level to what cinema really is and what it's about. Beautifully done and a wonderful summary of the art of cinema.
Omg, i just feel in love with this video, everything is so perfect, I lost count of how many times I have watched this video.
This is brilliantly subversive. I love it to bits. Can’t wait for the next masterpiece you conjure!
Arte, amor, fuerza. Cinema is all of that. And you my friend, have the soul and power to make that something we can see.
I can't stop watching this. I can't express myself in words how inspiring is it to me.
YOUR VIDEO IS A TRUE MASTERPIECE THAT SHOULD BE WATCHED FROM ALL THE ACTORS AND FILMMAKERS OF THE WORLD, the whole video is the soul of the seventh art and the heart of every movie that exists
I adore the the amount of effort you have put it in this video. The melody, the narration and the specific scenes of a movie you have filled it in to create this wonder.
I learn so much from that performences ❤
"Drama is life with the dull bits cut out."
Who was that speaking? Hitchcock?
Yes, Hitchcock
Hitchcock or Chaplin ??
Hitchcock always on the money.
No words left to describe this video, this video is a PURE ART!!!
This is absolutely gorgeous. Gave me chills
If i achieve my dream one day which is giving the capability of showing the world my artistic vision as a filmmaker. I'd talk about this video and say it was one of the most inspirational things ever for me that always reminded me of why i felt in love of this beautiful and majestic art of cinema. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

This video make me cry and think about all the things that the cinematography involves. A masterpiece I gonna save in my heart...
Your editing skills do exhibit your awareness of art and appreciation of literature around us. Keep making amazing videos.
Plus, it would be great if you made a video on Mr Robot.
Love the selection of films, this channel is truly a work of art in itself for making tributes of the film industry
This is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen in my life. Thank you.
As myself, I want to be in the filmmaking industry for sure, i want to be an actor, director, screenwriter (and also novelist), cinematographer (for my movies) and a editor (for my own movies). My dad introduced me to Cinema and movies and i fell in love with it. We went to the movies every week! Which made me want to participate in making movies, because I was caught in the magic of it.
That was dare I say ART in and of itself I have always loved film because in its essence films are story’s visual novels that immerse us in a world differently than a book ever could and just like books we use these visual novels to tell story’s after all every lesson we learn is through a story every question and every answer to that question is through a story and in the essence of making movies full of questions and their answers we are in an endless attempt trying to answer the most important question of all
“Why does man exist? What is the purpose of our bleak and insignificant lives?”
And so in an endless chase of the answer to that question we make ART it’s peaceful yet chaotic beautiful yet ugly transfixing yet boring immersive yet exclusive
That’s why I love art and every form of it..from music to dance to painting and books to cinema and video games everything is an art including this video thanks for this David I LOVED it and I WANT MORE LIKE THIS!!!!!!!!!! KEEP IT UP!!!!!
This is a masterpiece describing the creation of a masterpiece. Brilliant.
You to me are an artist in making something was already there but make it more and further in depth then it would or have been into something that still can be . Thank you for always giving me a glimpse of what you can see.
This is a masterpiece! Thank you, thank you so much for expressing the beauty of cinema in such a deep and poetic way. Really touching. I love cinema!!

This is perfection! You always create this capturing atmosphere when the music is building up, my heart starts beating faster, I get this euphoric feeling and when the climax of the song and the video hit, my heart metaphorically explodes and afterwards it is the most intense and intimate feeling! It's the same with your other videos, the mixture of feelings is truly breathtaking! Thank you for making this possible!
