David, Glad you brought this app to the attention of you audience. I’ve been using iMazing (and it’s predecessors) on a windows machine for over 10 years for my iPhone. It really is an Amazing app and soooo simple to use! Once I got a MacBook Pro, I immediately started using the Mac version.
I am having issues IMazing loading my IPOD classic.

I've been using an iPad & iPhone since 4S and Air2 but only very recently got a Mac, the new Mac Mini. One of the first Mac apps I got was iMazing.

The PHOTOS part that you skipped is actually the one that is quite important to me. I'm looking for a way to move photos from my phone to my computer, and also the other way around. You said there are already apps built into the OS that do this but I find Apple Photos and/or iTunes to be clunky at best. Is this app better, or were you talking about another built-in app I'm not thinking of? Thanks.

8 separate devices backed up to imazing. No longer have 4 of those devices. Computer out of storage and crashing. I need get those existing backups to a flash. Info only says I can change backup location but only new backups will go there not existing.. I’m very computer ignorant so hopefully you will tell me how.. TY SO MUCH!!!!

I was wondering if there is a way to get iMessages that are on your MacBook back to your iPhone. Some of my messages deleted off my iPhone but they are still on iMessage on my computer. Or is there a way to save a imessage thread and/or save/export it as a file?
All that happened was after installing this software on Windows 10, its rebooted without warning and then corrupted the operating system to the extend even restore points got corrupted. Finally had to reinstall windows 10. Thanks!
I didn’t see apps like Facebook and Twitter, that have conversations similar to an SMS feed, that I would like to copy conversation threads from. Are you able to capture threads from apps like that with it, too? If not, are you aware of any apps you can use for that purpose? Thanks.

Thank you for the video & visuals, however wish you did not skip backing up photos & videos. A common issue is that when backing up files from an apple device like iphone or ipad it is not possible to choose specific albums for transferring to a PC computer. It becomes too messy to back up photos/files of different types. I was watching to understand how iMazing is doing that.
Can use Imazing to transfer from iPod classic to laptop?
I would simply like to transfer music from my ipod to itunes. The change from Windows 7 to Windows 10 wiped out my itunes music library. You glossed over that in the video. Could please explain how to do that. Thank you.

being fairly new to Apple world, I am a little confused about what happens to the music (that is what I am interested in initially) once you move it to the device. In my case I have an old iPod with tons of music that I want to navigate to my iPhone, MacBook Pro and iPad Pro. If I import/export/whatever it from the iPod into itunes on the MacBook, will it then be treated like any other music and therefore spread to all of the devices without further input from me? Sorry if this is simplistic, but that is my question
You are correct. This is where you can choose whether to import it to iTunes or to a folder. It sounds like iTunes is your best option

Do you still recommend this for getting music off of a device, I lost my iTunes music folder as it was on a Transcend SD care/Drive and I have 108GB or 10,000+ songs on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and I have a new 14 Pro Max ready to go but if I plug my phone into my M1 16” Mac it will remove all my music and only sync what I have started to add back manually, is there a way to get it off of my 13 back into iTunes and then obviously sync my 14 and still have my music….any advice and help would be amazing
I should add that I want to be able to keep my album art, folders and so on if possible

why did you skip photos?
i'm very curious how, once i've done the backup of my phone (and it's photos/folders) how can i just restore some of my photos to my iphone, for example, just the favorites, or instagram photos....all i've found is that imazing will only let me export photos/info to my desktop on my computer, and then i would imagine i can put those onto my phone thru itunes program. if you know more please...help!

My iMac does not respond to one of my flash drive all of sudden! Why ? Corrupted by virus? Other flash drives are recognized by computer...
I just attempted to trf a backup to flash drive and ran into a new problem.., it is asking for password “used” on 10/18/18 to backup iPhone 6+... ?? I doesn’t say iTunes or iCloud it lists the phone.. SO would I put in phone screen unlock code? If it wants iCloud or iTunes does that mean at that time? I no longer have that email and I have changed Apple ID and password since then a few times actually.. oh I hate being so lost on something so important ..

Can you transfer from an old iPhone to a new one if the Apple ID is different on both phones, my father got a new phone and is having trouble transferring his data because his Apple IDs are different, he doesn’t know his password for the old account

Love your videos David. Thanks for all you do. I have had issues with iTunes for years and am looking forward to moving away from it. My iTunes “ribbon” became corrupt on the programmer’s side, and they were never able to fix it. Is it possible to do a slower more in depth tutorial on how to use iMazing to just manage my iTunes account on my computer and devices? That would be amazing!! No, that would be iMazing! Ha Ha

Dear Sir. It is very important to inform what OS you use. Is it Mac OS 10.14 or older or is it Katalina 10.15. And what IOS do you use 13.7 or... I have three 3 Mac computers with 4 operating system. iMazing doesn't work at all with Mojave and IOS 14.7, it doesen't even start a connection.. What is the aim for Apple to prevent me from exporting my CD-records from my Macs to my iPhone. Itunes don't sell my Swedish CD-s from the 80-ties, nor my collection from the 60-70-ties. Do thet want me to buy 400 records (nonexisting) one more time ???

Is this app 64bit and, therefore, Catalina compatible?
I have just checked my software list (About This Mac / System Report / Applications) and found that I have many apps including MS Office, Canon Printer, Everweb etc. etc.) that are not 64bit and thus not compatible with Catalina.
I have no option but to avoid upgrading unless these provides update their software.

nah this executable doesnt work what a waste of time
I bought iMazing based on this video. It constantly crashes. Worst of all, I have about 1,000 filtered photos on my iPhone. When I select "download all photos", iMazing only downloads my unfiltered photos, it does not download the filtered ones, and there appears to be no way to back them up. I will be requesting a refund, and I suggest you don't purchase this product.
PS - it just crashed AGAIN - definitely asking for a refund.
As per the video when it comes to specifically photos you really don’t need iMazing. You can just use Image Capture from your Mac (comes with it)

Did he say "Apple makes it pretty straightforward"....That's a very funny statement. In Android its just connect, access file system directly and transfer. In Apple its all about paying more to get less and not even giving access to the complete system. They are so scared to give us access to the file system that they act like a bunch of sissies. Like this iMazing app....paying more than 30 USD to get access to a file system for an iPhone or iPad which we forked out big bucks for. And paying again for their apps in play store which deal with such things.
The only thing Apple did is make all of us the biggest fools possible and we keep paying more for nothing even after knowing that we were fooled.
